Wait, why do you think that? It sounds plausible, but I don't know that much about Magia Record so I can't really say for sure.

AFAIK, the Homura in the Magia Record timeline is a Moemura, but with all of her experiences with the loops. Also Sayaka didn't self-destruct, so that's already a load off.

Not all of them, Moemura in MR splits off right before the timeline where she would have mercy killed Madoka
That should be why this isn't MR timeline. This new homura was described as being "exactly like you", so she shouldn't have the braids.
