The mindless terror of the Army Prince shall not be reintroduced to French society! Savary ne passera pas!

[X] YES

Savary is necessary to ensure the Jacobins won't try anything funny. Until the Jacobins have been rendered harmless, he's not leaving.

No clue what's going on or which side is voting for what. I'm just here for the ride.

Champenois delegate M. Cloutier was, in part, motivated by spite. His soldiering days had been spent in the Army of the Rhine, and the republican general Moreau had made quite the impression. While Cloutier had little sympathy for the royalist plotters Pichegru and Cadoudal, he saw them as mere props used, no, played by Savary and Fouché to force his old commander into exile. More than a decade later, the grudge still lives.

i find it very funny to imagine a guy who wasn't like, a close associate of Moreau or a member of his "shittalking Bonaparte" club, just a subordinate who kinda liked him but is still ragging on about the injustice of it all.
