Deadblooded: Vampires and their Guardian Heroes

Rolling 1d2 for tiebreaker, 1 for 'Accuse him' and 2 for 'Trust Maria'.

Though I'll at least try to get one more story update in, it's likely I'll call a hiatus afterwards. Or not, maybe writing the next update will get me back into the swing of things, who knows?

Edit: Accuse him wins, votes closed.
ArlequineLunaire threw 1 2-faced dice. Reason: Tiebreaker. Total: 1

"Yeah, and how do we know you're not a vampire's little lapdog?!" You blurted out, trying to shift this conversation from you "I've heard the higher-up vamps contract hunters like you to go after any in-the-way rivals of theirs'".

Yet at your fiery statement, this matador simply laughed. "Well, if I am indeed but another vampire's pawn, then you have proven you are a vampire yourself! After all, for what other reason would they send me after one such as you?".

You flinched, as he announced in front of your friends the last thing you hoped they'd find out.

"Y-you're a, a vampire?" Julio sputtered out, before shaking his head rapidly and muttering over and over to himself "N-no, I can't, I won't believe it! I-I mean, t-there's no way, how could Mina be...?".

"Minako" Arcadio simply intoned, his dark gaze fixed firmly on you, if thankfully he didn't take further action then.

"H-hey look, you're really gonna believe this guy?! Come on, who're ya gonna trust, him-," You pointed and glared at... an agent of the Espadas del Sol, one of Latin America's most renowned hunter organisations "Or-or me? Hey, I've been with this group from the beginning ya know!".

Before that matador could further elaborate though, your ghoul Maria leapt upon him again with a swift kick to his spine. Knocked forwards, the matador then spun around to launch a flurry of stabs at Maria, but she countered his rapier, knocking it so hard it bent, with a gleaming, ornate axe she'd pulled out on her own.

"Hah, never thought I'd rely upon for dwarf-forged old relics again" she darkly chuckled to herself, as if the weapon she'd produced was but a simple woodcutter's axe.
"Well now Mistress Minako, take it your big secret's out?" your ghoul then grinned at you, and as you gritted your teeth you could've drowned her in holy water for that remark.

"Ah, Ghoulish fool and foolish Ghoul, you think no less than a Sword of the Sun will fall that easily?" that matador then interrupted before anyone could respond to Maria, his rapier having returned itself almost instantly to its original shape.

[ ] Run back to your gang's hideout so you can explain to Julio and Arcadio, and try to lose that matador in Lima.
[ ] Tell Julio and Arcadio to run, while you and Maria run elsewhere. It's you he wants, you're not dragging them into this.
[ ] Tell Julio and Arcadio to run, while you make your stand against this matador here.

I've been thinking, would people prefer it if I tried to update once per day or once every two days, to give people who can't make it every day more of a chance to reply for each vote?
I am in favor of the latter.
