[DC/Starcraft/???] A Ghost in Gotham

I don't want to reveal all our tech, as we don't have a way to replenish it yet.
Speaking of, ammo for the canister rifle is a real issue.

Even for Gotham, acquiring 25mm slugs might be hard, especially since apparently, the things are, to quote the wiki "These rounds appear to be charged with energy instead of relying purely on conventional explosives"

On the upside, anyone we hit with the suckers is going down.

Just a error I noticed.
There are better shots out there. There always have been, from the academy to field work. There are better psions then you--and you're glad about that. You do not want the fate that befell November. Medics, though. . . you have fake memories praising your stitchwork, praising your customized stimpacks, praising you in a way that nothing else about you has been praised. That is your calling, in the Ghosts, what lets you rise above the rest.
The PC is supposed to be a Confederate Ghost, meaning he predates Nova joining the Ghost program. Nova got picked up during the Fall of Tarsonis, right when the Confederacy was falling and the Dominion was taking over. If he knows who November Terra is, it's as the daughter of one of the Old Families, not as another Ghost.

Good catch. Will correct.

Okay, it should be relatively clear from the context, but I still think it needs be asked for the sake of clarity; what sort of stimpack are we talking about here, exactly? Because the main reference to "stimpacks" in StarCraft is in the form of a cocktail of high-grade combat drug to enhance reflexes, speed, aggression, and the like, with long term side effects being listed as;
Which... doesn't really sound like the sort of thing you'd jab into someone you'd want to get better...

ya, i'm hoping that the stimpacks we have are based on the fallout ones.

First time jumping in to one of these instead of just lurking, should be fun. Bit of a disgrace about the missed shots, being a Ghost and all...

I think its a shame that we picked the medic specialization though, I think 90% of Gotham's problems could be solved with the judicious use of a sniper rifle... (or by firebombing Arkaham Asylum :D, should have taken the firebat suit!!!)

Well, for one, being a Medic means we have a lot of knowledge we otherwise might not have access to. We can improve our psionics or sniper skills through training and use, with tools and equipment for this either being unnecessary (psionics) or locally available (ie, sniper rifles). It would be significantly more difficult to bring up our medical knowledge to Kuprulu Terran standards without access to medical texts and the like, so already having that knowledge should make things easier.

Also, being skilled at healing people, also means having an extensive amount of knowledge on how to hurt them. Which means that we have options for eliminating people in a more subtle way than splattering them across the room with our canister rifle.
For example, if the Joker shows up, gets caught, and ends up in Arkham, we can simply sneak in to fiddle around a bit with his medications and whatnot so he'll suffer a fatal heart attack, and goes out with a whimper rather than some sort of spectacle that might inspire copycats.

Nah, too obvious, we'd stick out.

Plus, Arkham's easy to handle.

Find the patient commissary, load up the meal with a shitload of-

Fuck, Joker's immune to drugs.
I'm pretty sure even a medic's psionics are good enough to cause a stroke or aneurism.
