CURATOR (Fallen London/RWBY)

No? That was a lie, presumably because "I created romantic tragedies via murder for a star-god" would result in unproductive questions.
It wasn't a lie.

[ ] The Steelbound Princess: Such a lovely story, she told you. How wonderfully tragic. She collected them: stories. A vast and great mechanical library she had, tended to by all manner of Scrive-Spinsters who ensured every gear was in place, every piston moving correctly, only the most tragic and sad of tales to stock her halls. She wanted you as both librarian, mechanic, and author: your pain translated quite well into creativity, it seemed.

[X] Plan: Reflections of Ventures, and their Consequences

I am not sure if a Quality can be used as the base for the Wordsmithing action but if it can I will vote for this plan.

[X] Plan: Reflections of Ventures, and their Consequences

I just want to Glass to write poem. He can't be any worse than Page at the very least.

An idea for reinforcing the defenses of the camp on all fronts
[] Begin designing a Glass Labyrinth [Glasswork]
The Lightbreaking Ritual is simple and uses resources close to hand but that is about all that can be said about it. Why crudely tug at some already mostly light-forsaken end of the world until something tears when one could instead carefully redirect that light and attention? Hide a little hide-away from the world itself. Possibly less effective but more elegant and vastly less painful. Surround this place with mirrors reflecting mirrors reflecting mirrors reflected in reflected mirrors ad infinitum. Abraid reality so that both sides of the mirror are indistinguishable and the borders unlocatable, bend both sides around a pocket so that no sight and no straight lines will cross it. Anyone attempting to enter without following a very specific route will only find an endless recursion of tunnels however far they travel and yet in the center is a place that is neither entirely Is or Is-Not and hidden to both. It will be a work of art! Though possibly not one many witnesses will properly appreciate.
Traveling from the inside to outside is much easier, no need to eternally imprison innocent spelunkers.

Kind of like an inverted Triptych like what was used to trap Fingerkings by the fourth city but with far more than three mirrors and used to keep things out rather than in, or the Edict of Towers, one of Hell's defences.

Possible advantages are

It's cool, Mr. Glass in particular would appreciate something like this, it might even help with Greed to own something nice and shiny like this.

It'd be hard for anyone to brute force their way past, even by digging in theory.

It'll kill three birds with one stone, a border seperating Mr Glass's sanctum from the Is, Is-Not, and inconvenient physical laws all at once, hopefully the work already done with the Lightbreaker ritual will help.

It won't be so painful and self destructive, Curators are tough but I don't think they heal that fast.

It's cool.

Possible dissadvantages

There's the cost, a lot of glass and silver, preferably enough to enclose the entire central complex of the ruins and then some, this will be especially tricky since it'll require placing mirrors through solid stone. Will probably involve hiring skilled workers. Maybe an alternative could be found for the traditional materials? Maybe some sort of thin foil...
Beyond that the more esoteric and immaterial costs will probably be difficult to acquire, favors from the cats and/or serpents, probably large amounts of prisoner's honey and other reagents which will need help from the local LoN and Mr Glass still owes them, not the other way around.

It will probably take quite some time to do meaning some more temporary measures will probably be needed anyway. Just planning it out will probably be a significant endeavor.

A slight adjustment of the mirror's arrangement by some ne'er-do-well could close the way, turning our unfortunate Curator's fortress into a prison, perhaps there should be several ways through the maze.

Since the actual number of mirrors creating the maze is not infinite someone could decipher their arrangement by the pattern of passages and from there the correct way through, solving it like a puzzle, and people like that will probably be exactly the sort of person that should be kept out, possibly some boring, straightforward defences like solid steel doors would be a good backup, might not help with invaders from the parabolan face of the labyrinth but there's already that fragment of heartbreak for that.

Putting the defense of the sanctum from physical threats, dream invaders and Law-Light on a single construct means that if it does break there'll be a lot of problems all at once.

Things getting lost from Parabola or "reality" might stumble out on the wrong side, which could cause all sorts of interesting problems.

The reflecting pool itself and the city beyond probably won't be securable this way, just local parabola(That is how it works right? If one passes through a normal mirror they'd end up in Remnant's area of Parabola while the dream city is far away, near the Neath, right?)

Of course the author will need to say if this is viable and what the costs/benefits would be.

This is a really nice quest The Bird, please continue?
