Trigger Warning: Expect the worst just incase
You're a group of extradimensional comic writers capable of remolding entire universes into whatever you may desire by simply coordinating your efforts into doing so
Create a fantastical and wondrous superhero universe, full of superpowered adventure, drama between god-like individuals, and made-up overcomplicated pseudoscience to help explain why Blasto-Bite fires lazers out of his teeth
Too Many Writers/Da Rules
You are a wide variety of cosmic beings known as "Comic Book Writers" truly eldritch and horrific beings, with indecipherable desires, and a strange tendency to put folks in colourful spandex
And together, you'll form a superhero universe by retroactively "Writing in" facts and stories that'll result in champions of justice, maniacal fiends, and everything in between

A blue and green ball of dirt called Earth will be the foundation for this, it is the basic starter pack for creating universes, it conveniently isn't subject to copyright, and cheaper too, only 5 bucks, its even the generic modern day version

Now lets work out the ground rules for how we'll do this, otherwise it be the not-so-fun type of chaos, the kind that annoys everybody including you instead of everyone except you

Da Rules

The game will be divided into turns, which will be divided into 2 phases, ideas, and results, during Ideas you'll write-in what kinda things you'll put into the setting like places, people, artifacts, events, all that stuff, then I see which ones pass the vote requirement, if votes innately contradict eachothers existence like if you're making a character go in one direction and a different Idea makes them go in the opposite way, if both have equal votes I'll mix them in some way or flip a coin, if one act has more votes I go with that
After sorting that stuff out I'll write down the results of all the Ideas that pass, which usually spans a couple days or weeks, then write down all the new notable facts, and then go to the next turn

Now onto how Ideas work, you can post up to 5 ideas, you can only make 1 original Idea of your own and the rest will be supporting the Ideas of others, though if you have no original Ideas you can just use all your votes to just support other folks if you're feeling like a good samaritan
All Ideas, depending on their concepts, need a certain amount of support votes to pass, the greater the impact of the Idea on the setting, the more votes it'll need, for example...

Basic Idea: 1 vote needed, slightly influence the decision of a character, retroactively give someone a knack for a mundane skill, make someone more likely to get punched in their next fight, etc
Significant Idea: 3 votes needed, decently influence the course of a character's action, retroactively make someone with a street-level hero backstory and abilities like someone getting bitten by a radioactive badger and gaining badger powers, make someone more likely to get into a rivalry with the next villain they meet, etc
Great Idea: 6 votes needed, greatly impact the course of a character's personality for a decent period of time, retroactively make someone with a city-level hero backstory and abilities like a government agent filled with a super serum that gives them alien-fungus biology, incite a fight or bring some peace between some groups of a generally significant size, etc
Grand Idea: 10 votes needed, hit someone in the face with a life changing moment, retroactively make someone with a country-level hero backstory and abilities like a scion of death possessing the goodest dog ever and both defend the innocent with their immense power, cause a large scale crossover event, etc
Fantastic Idea: 15 votes needed, hit a bunch of people with some pretty intense statu-quo changing drama for better or worse, retroactively make someone with a global-level hero backstory and abilities like a powerful tulpa built from the public perception of Elvis Presley with incredible rock and roll themed psychic powers, etc
AMAZING Idea: 20 votes needed, give multiple groups of superhumans crazy levels of character development, retroactively make someone with a galactic-level backstory and abilities likes a 4D sapient space ship built purely by chance from 34 colliding supernovas and with space-time warping technology, cause space wars, etc

Some extra rules
- If an Idea does not add something to and or involve the shenanigans of superpowered individuals (or at least folks with superhuman levels of skill at something, like science or combat), like if you just made an entire pocket dimension with a fantasy theme completely unrelated to the rest of the superhero setting, then you'll require an amount of votes that belong to the next grade for it to pass, this is to help avoid people just rewriting the genre, going for an Amazing Idea while this is in effect will just be an automatic failure to pass
- I will occaisonally add a theme, if your Idea matches the theme it will be boosted, if you're boosted the current amount of votes you have will count as a grade higher
- Don't be an jerk
- Avoid copyright, the lawyers will beat us up and take our lunch money
- Plot holes will be possible, and if one comes to my attention, depending on the severity of it, the hole could cause some PROBLEMS, so make sure to avoid them at all costs, trying to fix a plot-hole might bring it to my attention, but if successful will mean it won't be a PROBLEM
- You cannot support the same idea with multiple of your own support votes

Now let me just write a informational real quick

Turn 1: Ideas
Okay, time to start jotting down your Ideas
And its either 1 original Idea and 3 supports for others, or 4 supports if you're not feeling creative today

Theme: Universal boost for all Ideas this turn

Some examples

[] Dr Fantasmo: Super scientist extraordinaire and hero for the people, with his signature self-made Fantasmo belt, he becomes a 4-D being, capable of travelling directions unseen by man and getting past earthly obstacles with ease, though it does hurt him mentally if he stays like that too long

[] The Worm Asteroid: A small meteorite with a green glow will hit the town of Alberta, Ohio, it will gift the first individual that runs into it with the wondrous ability to become a worm, with the ability to regenerate from and gain short-lived clones from being cut

[] The Blue Devil: Mafioso and former heir to a large crime family, was refused his rightful spot as leader for his skin condition that made him blue, now he wears a pair of horns and uses his incredible dealmaking, backstabbing, and crime skills to dominate the world of organized crime, the horns are cause he wants to use the rumours of him being a demon in human skin for extra intimidation

Original idea
[X] The Thunderbolt Kid: Young Johnny Bolt was struck by a mysterious lightning bolt, granting him super strength, super speed, and the ability to generate electricity. With his electrifying powers, he fights crime in Metropolis Heights. He must be cautious, as overuse of his abilities can lead to severe exhaustion.

Supported ideas:
[X] The Fortune Twins: Felicia Casley was an aspiring scientist studying the concept luck, having created a machine that could see how luck interacted with the know universe a series of unfortunate events happened that made the machine explode, showering Felicia with luck particles, which gave her the power to control luck. Now as the cat themed super hero Lady Fortuna she fights crime in her home city at night, while working as a scientist during the day. Thought not is all good, for just as she gained her powers, an evil doppelganger of her was created capable of controlling bad luck who wishes to ruin her life.

[X] The Shooting Star: Somewhere, across the universe, an ancient besieged Gernsback-esque civilisation drew its last breath, and hurled a light into the darkness. A satellite, endowed with all their power, and a single mission; MAKE RIGHT MIGHTY. After millenia wandering through space, it has come to orbit distantly around an inhabited world--Earth. Those it chooses from its position in orbit--battered housewives, downtrodden paperboys, suffering civilians--suddenly gain any power imaginable [but normally just the flying-brick package because the writer wants to get lunch soon and has to pump out like 3 of these a day as a backup feature for something more popular], as long as they need to level the scales, and as soon as the power comes, it goes onto the next person. Look up into the night sky, and make a wish...

Well this is an interesting premise
Original Idea:
[X] Professor Shade: A scientist from the far future with an iffy moral compass, not a villain but not heroic either. He was experimenting with teleportation technology when suddenly his equipment malfunctioned, launching him into the past with scrambled memories, no tools, and no idea where he was, in some ways a Shade of his former self.

[X] The Sleepy Storm: Amaya Arisato was the definition of a lazy genius, claiming there was no use putting in effort when she didn't have the power to change anything. Turns out somebody else heard her and decided to call her bluff. Now informed by Hypnos himself that she's the reincarnation of the Titan Oceanus, Amaya is forced to fight crime and meet her weekly quota under the watchful eyes of Hypnos. Taking on the name of her past life, Oceanus can generate rainstorms and manipulate the rain to her advantage.

It may not know much, but with its advanced digital intelligence and neural-network, it can have the chance to learn the good and bad of humanity and other species. And with its modular frame, and the variety of components within its truck, it can adapt and modify itself as seen fit. Time for ADOG to do its best to save humanity, without humanity!

Depending on the intensity of Johnny Bolt's abilities, I might make him Great Level
Which you can easily pass with support and the boost

I'll him down as significant, a smart move you could do with this guy is using later Ideas to make him remember his future-science expertise, a lot more time, but a lot less votes

Great or Grand depending on Lady Fortuna and her Twin's level of luck manipulation

I'll be generous with most acts that imply some things, so even if your character does suggest the existence of some powerful divine beings, I'll just make her a Great grade Idea
What you guys should worry about is what I do with the vague implications

For example, fusing a random thug with the broken teleporter from the future and making them fight The Thunderbolt-Kid
I imagine that going bad for the thug, considering you have a piece of broken technology fused to you, and your first idea is to fight the guy who can generate electricity. Then again, thugs aren't known for being smart.

The thug is most likely just being stopped by the guy who can generate electricity, probably just robbing a bank or something with his buddies and then BAM, kid in a costume shows up outta nowhere to kick his butt

Okay, the chance to make something normal and not extra-dimensionally crazy and borderline incomprehensible for me. Time to stretch my wings, make sure my claws are up for the task and...

Takes out pen to scrawl down notes.
I swear, if ADOG goes through, and goes through an arc of some sort where it becomes more human and gets an android body and gender and stuff, I'm going to... I dunno, try to make retcons or something like every comic writer does.

For time travel, multiverse theory could work pretty well to avoid too much plot holes. Shade's timeline simply went very differently without his presence in the past.

And I am a bit worried about the powerscaling implications, but it's just magic and Titans don't have to mean gods... Right?

Right?
Puts down pen.

In all seriousness though, I'm excited.

I just realized I made a dumb move
Why should I limit the first turn with the Golden Age theme?
Imma just make the first turn theme universal

Let's hope I didn't screw over this universe due to me playing too much Hades recently.
I've seen worse, that may or may not be the from this OP directly, in other threads and they somehow persisted. So I am confident that wouldn't screw things over for anyone but me. I just hope this lasts longer, or at least a decent while.

Edit:
Why should I limit the first turn with the Golden Age theme?
Because it's a classic theme for the start of a superhero setting? Riffing on the original comics of the era. Even if the ways, at least I, am doing it is more in a spiritual sense than a significant homage.

[X] "Normal Dog":A seemingly normal dog has saved a kitten from a tree. It doesn't seem that important yet.
Edit: Though, how did that dog get up the tree to save the cat? That question is something that is confusing the local news. No one who saw the event occur can seem to remember the answer to that question.

I guess I'm wondering what Grade ADOG is at. Besides that, how are the votes looking so far? And anything else we could/should do in this time? As we wait for more people to come in, vote and hopefully make more descriptive original ideas. (I'm not really sure what to do with the Normal Dog idea so... Yeah.)

[X] FROZEN FIEND OR SNOWY SAVIOR?
The idea I've thought up is that the picture of the snowman below would be a vigilante targeting crime in a city that gets a LOT of snow and crime.
My first thought was somewhere in Alaska but I don't really know anything about it so I'd be perfectly fine with a more appropriate location being chosen if an idea comes to Donald.
Power-wise they have increased durability and very high resistance to the cold. I've considered the ability to generate a snowstorm too, but that might over complicate them a bit. Maybe something to add later.
They'd be silent most of the time when "on the job" and employ brutal methods to stop crime, but relatively jolly when not.
………
Hm. I think I just made either a horror slasher or "what if Bruce Wayne was scared of snowmen instead of bats".
I guess it depends how far Donald takes "Brutal" to mean for this guy.
Oh well, I've already written this stuff down. We'll see how it goes later.
Image
And also some alternate costumes, although I wanna specify that I see them being entirely made of snow & not just his head.
