Bad Days Signup and OOC: Now Recruiting! (Shadowrun 5th Edition/Crossover)

Well they'd obviously not be wireless, that would be stupid. I'd probably set it up so that we can quickly turn them on via a manual button or something that is one a timer just long enough for us to escape.
Provided that Kasute can grab all her vast amounts of stuff. Heh. Who am I kidding, she has like the least amount of stuff of everyone.

Well I'm thinking that we have a manual trigger that sets off a timer and once the relatively short timer is done the wireless turns on allowing us to detonate it at will. Of course i'd probably write the detonation program and name it the "Tea Party" protocol.

Nah. Name it "Drink Me" and have it's icon be a little bottle.

I think me and my character would both ask: "Why?"
Alice: "It's simple really, think of it as insurance. In the event that our safehouse is compromised we can evacuate and erase all evidence that can be used to follow us, if we're lucky we might me also catch some of the attackers in the blast."

To put it simply Alice is a girl long adapted to a paranoid lifestyle and knows that if she can't hide something by being subtle she needs to hide it through chaos.

For example if she needed a specific file from a guy's office but there is no way to hide that she took it she'll take as much as possible then fry his computer to hide what she was after.

She's also young enough that Kasute will be protective of her. By Kasute's standards of protectiveness, at least. Which is basically just a few subtle things and her being less irreverent and snarky to her.

Well....the first few sentences of the introduction read like its supposed to be a SI or at least that our group should be non-shadowrunners, which suddenly awake with a new..skill set so to speak.

True, but the fact that Gideon hasn't objected to us having backgrounds, or this later bit of clarification:
Incidentally, I probably should have expanded that memory bit to be 'No Memory Of How You Got Into The Room', rather than just no memory.
says otherwise.

Yeah, I hand't picked up on that until late into things, and at that point I figured I might as well go whole hog on the Amnesia thing.

Looking at what the main crew is, I can't help but feel that Glaicer is the magier mage, but he's mainly brought along for extra firepower. (Pool of 15 dice for combat spells and a resist drain pool of 11 says what?)

Yes, but I have no idea what either of those two pools are to max them. :D

Well, spellcasting pool is Spellcasting(5)+Magic(6)+Spec(+2 Combat)+Mentor Spirit(Shark:+2 Combat), and Drain depends on tradition. Glacier is Hermetic, so he uses Log+Will. I have no clue what Drain is resisted by for Chaos mages, but it's probably something+willpower.

It looks like the core group has all the bases covered, though not necessarily well.

So my spellcasting is 11 and resist drain is 10 (Willpower +intuition), right?

Spell casting is 11, yes, since you don't have any specs for types of spells, and I have no clue what Chaos mages use for drain, but your resist Drain pool is either 9 or 10, so you can pretty reliably pull off force 3 spells all day.

And force three is the level I can sustain with my Qualities, so that's good. Chaos resists with WIL+INTUITION, so I'm at 10. And I have no idea what happens with Specialties, so *shrugs*

Like Gideon said. However, specialties stack with the bonuses from Mentor Spirits, cost 1 skill point in creation and 7 Karma otherwise, and any skill has specialties. However, you can never have more than one specialty in a skill. Well, except for Martial Arts, but those are kinda weird and you can only use one at a time.
