With the Gateway we should be able to get our hands on more advanced tech. I do like the Endbringer class battlestation, though.

Of course, it also could mean that we'd have a harder time breaking away from the UED if we decided that was what we wanted to do, because they could just send guys at us through the gateway.
Naturally.

All of the options put have something to balance then out, the secondary AI's core is destructible once it's been set up and the station naturally can't be everywhere at once.

We don't have to defect if we can influence the local force to be less of an asshole.

Current Tally.

Vote Tally : AI Quest Second verse same as the first! (Starcraft) | Page 5 | Sufficient Velocity
##### NetTally 1.5.11

[X] Plan Hoard Killer
-[x] Grey Vine Anti Air System a powerful anti-air system that uses its rapid fire laser to quickly destroy hordes of weaker flying enemies. (4 points)
-[x] The Interceptor System as the local humans tend to be bit Nuke happy it only makes sense to take a vehicle dedicated to intercepting such pesky things long before they hit even if they can't normally do much else. (4 points)
-[x] The WY class infiltraition unit is a human sized robot that looks a lot like a metal skeleton without its fake skin. They kind of creep you out, but they are powerful infantry combatants. (2 points)
-[x] The Hacksaw class general weapons system may not be the most advanced in but it will shred just about an infantry unit that enters its range. (2 points)
-[x] The Thunderstorm triple barreled Artillery walker is a fine piece of work that outranges the native siege tank by an order of magnitude. (8 points)

I will admit that I am only getting for the battle station so that Kuv can make a witness the power of my fully operational battlesation joke and confuse the people he is taking to.

Planning the Invasion
[x] Plan horde killer.

"Interesting." DuGalle comments as he looks over the extra units you had acquired "I see you've built your strategy with the Zerg's horde tactics in kind."

"The is correct admiral." You say closing the unit screen "While I cannot accurately try to prepare for the Protoss at the moment due to their similar technology I can at the very least assume that we will be fighting hordes of Zerg during out time in the sector and have chosen the units I feel are best for countering such tactics."

"A wise decision Kuchav." DuGalle turns his attention back to a monitor detailing troop numbers. "I can only hope your preperations will be enough when the time comes.

"So do I admiral." You say examining footage of a Zerg attack. "So do I."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

"Hello vice admiral Stukov." You greet the Russian officer as he leaves the medical bay. "It is good to see that you've awakened without much difficulty."

"It's good to wake up without much difficulty." Stukov takes a drink of his vodka "I still do not like it though, just because I'm Russian doesn't mean I'm perfectly fine with being on ice."

You let out a light chuckle "No I suppose it doesn't. Can I get you anything?"

"Nothing for now." Stukov answers taking another gulp of his drink. 'Is the captain due to awaken soon?"

"She should be ready to start operations soon." You say as you receive another message. "Anyway I've just received word that DuGalle wants you up at the command bridge."

Stukov nods and gives you a salute before heading off.

He and DuGalle are good men at heart, shame they happen be loyal to the UED, well at least the UED as it is.

Still you have a lot of work to do, the campaign to take over the sector isn't going to make itself, and as much as you detest it you've been assigned to help with the job.

What do you suggest as the first course of action?
[x] We should set up an out of the way base before we do anything else.
[x] The Dylarian shipyards limiting the enemy's fleet options and boosting out own would be of great help in the upcoming conflict.
[x] While you've managed to get a great deal of information on the Dominion through some hacking you could always do with some more, recommend that the fleet attack the planet of Braxis.
[x] The best way to deal with any problem is to cut the head off the snake. While it is a great risk attacking Korhal immediately and killing the Dominions leader should greatly weaken local terran resistance.

Greet.

You let out a light chuckle "No I suppose it doesn't. Can I get you anyway?"

Anything?

Wake Up? sorry just sounds awkward

Lets get our Production up first.

I'm pretty sure part of our combat group are civilian, building a base to house them would be a good idea.

I'm pretty sure the shipyards would be the canon option but setting up a base is better done sooner rather than latter.

Well the ship yards and close to cannon but they aren't quite their due to reasons.

Anyway since these is basically the UED 'campaign' I'm willing to give a small bonus for Omakes either about the briefing for the mission, or for the mission itself.

Emphasis small though don't expect it to be game breaking or anything like that.

Ok guys I hate to admit this but I think I may be burning out on this bit. I've been writing the first AI quest for around a year or so and I think I've kinda spent myself on the front.

Don't get me wrong I loved writing for Kuhcav, he's one of my better quest characters but I think I need to take a break from it before I get sick of the entire thing.

You guys fine with that?
