If Salem kills the Son and takes his power, would that just balance her out? Evil plus Evil equals either Eviler or just mellow her out. Also I kinda be horrified and very interested in a dark side cult worshipping her. Would she hate that or enjoy it?
With Ozpin I agree, he just has good intentions and ideas but always has the most cr**py luck.....he might just have only 1 point in luck.

...They might be able to drive a wedge between them, and between thrawn and palps due to the order vs power motivation. Hell, thrawn might pull a you can't beat them, join them on poor palps. Thrawn, well, a combination of desire for order and a false flag operation on his brother was what kept him in line.
