I do think we should have more complex orders then just "go help them", it's not too much an issue now but in the future it might become one if a more complex order is needed

While this is a fair point, there's also the potential downside of coming off as micromanaging Byleth, who has her own agency and way of thinking and doing.

Sometimes the most elegant solution is the most straightforward. I'm sure our little Byleth can take the lead with a few bandits, it's not like she's tactically stupid. If we actually come up on a tricky situation where we know more than she does, then I'm sure we could all agree on more specific instructions.

[X] Tell Byleth to help them

I'm cool with keeping it simple for now. If Byleth is gonna hear everything we say anyway, that's already a lot of weird information being dumped in one go. Also, mighty brave of Byleth to just nonchalantly admit to hearing voices in her head, definitely doesn't make you sound crazy at all.

It's what we in the business call a power move. If you let someone else point out that you're reacting to things that aren't there, you might be called crazy, but if you own it, no fear, nobody is going to have the guts to challenge you on it. I approve, obviously.

Well, Byleth might be crazy, but it's the good kind of crazy that comes with mysterious powers and highly useful information that one should have no way of knowing.

Let us see how far off the rails things can go!

Oh yeah, almost forgot

[X] Tell Byleth to try to avoid almost getting axe murdered this time. It felt somewhat contrived.

No no no, that's kind of important. How else will she realize we're actually trying to be helpful if we don't get to save her from her own inattentiveness?

Smh my head, I guess nobody wants to educate Byleth about how differing economic conditions can cause people to have different behaviors

We could just... tell her, right? We don't strictly need there to be a life-or-death situation, do we?
Or does all the out-of-context knowledge count as the power we're granting and we can't do other time shenanigans?
We really should check over and see if we actually know that or not.

[X] Tell Byleth to sweet talk the nobles. Maybe they can help out her mercenary band a bit, after this battle?

I mean, we could just tell her, but I'm pretty sure if you're self-aware of voices in your head you're self-aware enough to question their altruism. Actions speak louder than words!

All the more reason to give warnings about potential axe-murderings then! And other forms of murderings. Maybe we can derail some of those annoying plot deaths?

On consideration I'm switching my vote. Since it is a riot quest this won't prevent us from advising Byleth to help.

[x] Tell Byleth to consider the sociopolitical and economic conditions that lead to people becoming bandits

[X] Tell Byleth to check them out

We all know where this is going , we all know how Fire Emblem fans are , might as well get a headstart

[X] Tell Byleth that it is quite disconcerting to find several young homo sapiens with the clothing and countenance of those who are known to be high in the societal order of man as we know it being chased by a much larger group of people with looks of cupidity in their vision-providing organs wielding armaments in various states of dilapidation. It would behove us to move with celerity to assist them, as the embittered lordlings will soon find themselves with no headway due to our portcullis (?) barring them, and will soon be cornered by the nefarious marauders nipping on their heels.

(AKA: I, a guy who knows nothing about Three Houses, roleplay as a Sothis who practices Sesquipedalian Loquaciousness to try to hide the fact that she doesn't know anything that's happening and is just going along with what everyone else is saying. Because I will end up being the only person talking like this, everyone will ignore me. COMEDY. Unfortunately, my personal dictionary isn't that great and I'm relying on the online thesaurus right now, so this will not last for long, at which point, uhh, I don't know. This honestly could be much more complex but I'm not capable of that.)

Oh my! Good heavens! How undescribably invigorating!
A real life riot quest before my very eyes? Oh my oh my how excited I am to see where this goes.

[X] Tell Byleth--no, demand that she tells you of this strange world and it's three buildings in which, I assume, people must live within.

[X] Cut their eyes out with your spoon and paint the town red with their entrail's! Also with the spoon!!

I have no context for fire emblem but this looks fun regardless, crazy murderhobo is a go hahaha!

[X] Eh, let's get this over with. You know any of these people, or this place? And where the hell are we? I kind of recognize this.... I could really go for a drink right about now......

Look, a alcoholic Sothis sounds wonderful to do. Especially if I can make her extremally sick and tired of everybody bullshit, just not caring anymore.
