Mr Skeet brings Kaine and Zach along, all armed with blunt improvised weapons, they all go check out that foggy clearing and try to figure out whats going on there, Kaine is gonna write down what he sees cause he knows his kids will wanna know what happens

Together they wander into the woods, armed with some rolling pins, hockey sticks, some bas, and Zach brought a big ol wrench
Carefully through the woods they tiptoed, staying in a formation where they could look in all directions at once, slowly but surely reaching that clearing where Mr Skeet swears he almost got drowned at

The small sparkling river was still there, the clearing, and the ominous silhouettes of circus tents were in the distance once more
But no intelligent animals were sighted

They creeped towards the tents following the purple stream, carefully pulled apart the entrance curtains, and entered the dark beneath the shade, illuminating the empty chairs were holes torn in the big top, and the dirt circle in the centre where the magic should happen was lifeless as well

Except for a tophat floating in the middle of the room, leaking the purple sparkly water, the origin point of it

-An intense rock paper scissors battle, Skeet sadly lost and stepped forward to poke the hat with a stick like the roll result described
It turned then spat out a bunch of sparkles in Skeet's face, then he felt something, a feeling like there was more to him than there was before

The magic tophat shook and then spewed out a tidal wave of intelligent forest critters and sparkly purple water, the critters got trapped inside somehow and were pretty pissed, unluckily for the trio they looked like good punching bags
So all 3 ran home immediately covered in scratches and bites, soaked in purple water

But at least Skeet got to say "Holy shit guys! Look! I've got a magic hat!"
And Arron would reply "That is not what I'm focused on!" As he tried to patch up the group of trailer-trash

But nothing, he got so frustated he slammed the deck down in anger, and one of the cards flew towards a ceremonial candle and was destroyed faster then he could react thanks to his prediction abilities, then felt card disconnect from him
Then he began to panic, grabbed another card from a different deck, and prayed he could replace destroyed cards with replacements if necessary

He felt the connection reform, and it was confirmed, he sighed in relief, he at least learnt something new

Arata continued "I'll decorate the funeral with stolen shit from the circus, it'll match how much of a clown you were in life, anyway after the Tin Elephant vacuums failed, the guy who made it divorced his wife and she took like half of everything he owns, including copyright of the mascot, her ex didn't really care at that point, then she married the guy who would found this trailer park, so as he was building it, thinking about what kinda eye catcher to put up, she remembered a copyright she had laying around in the back of the house, and thats the story of the mascot"

In Ellie-May's home they poured a couple more drops of golden blood on the car ornament, she had Tatsuya help since Arron would probably be against messing anything magic without good reason after what happened with Skeet, Kaine, and Zach, but Arata was less of the role model type then Arron and was on good terms so he was solid choice
Arata read through a couple hundred verses online to check any abrahamic stuff involving golden blood, Ellie-May decided to do one last test and whispered the final words her brother said to her into the necklace "Take this cool shiny shit"

And in a burst of heavenly light, it was no longer a simple ornament, it was an object of POWER
Apparently the golden blood from an angel's touch, the emotional significance of the item to the owner, and the fact it was put together was evocative enough to cause something magical to find it fitting

A minute later after the gas leak causing them to freak out like that was fixed, they went back inside, picked up the hawk ornament, and Ellie-May raised the blade into the air dramatically and named it "The HAWK-SABER!" After a weapon her son's character had on his dnd sheet

Rory was having a pleasant walk through town, and heard something from an old building, something like a baby crying, he turned to look around, checking if this was magic or not by the reactions of passers-by
No reaction to the cries, he got his cards out and held some close to his vitals so he could at least predict if something were to aim at them

He walked up the derelict stairs, beams of light illuminating the dust filled halls through broken shards of window glass
It smelled like dust and mold, a forgotten place, there was some recent graffiti on the wall, and as he got closer he heard crying alongside that of the baby

Then he saw it, an old wooden door where both sets of sobbing came from, Rory pressed his air against it, the wood was soft yet dry, white pain peeling off, the scent of lead in it
He grabbed the rusted handle, being careful to not cut himself on it, and slowly opened it, allowing both cries to become more clear

It was a playroom, it hasn't been used in a long time, the blue sky wallpaper fading from the years, a thin layer of dust covering a leftover toy just laying on the ground, a crib was in the centre of the room, that's where the crying of the baby came from
The other sound was coming from a graffiti artist, as proven by the paint on his hoodie, the bag full of spray paint, and a dropped spray can beside him as he lay on the floor, uncontrollably sobbing
