I don't understand the comparison of Nazi and Jew. A Nazi is defined by their ideological position on race, nationality, and economic theory. A Jew is defined by their religion/ethnicity. So, I don't understand how a religious/ethnic group could be said to have a unifying call for 'loving one's fellow person'. Is there an inherent contradiction with a Jew who does not call for that?

I gave "Nazi and Jew" as an example of two diametrically opposed philosophies. One of them would not rest until the other was eradicated, thus the Nazi cannot but annoy the Jew, and the Jew cannot but annoy the Nazi. I'll edit to clarify that. Thanks!

I've had the pleasure of speaking with a Jewish priest once, as part of an effort to learn about various different religions in my community. He shared an old story of how a Jewish priest had once summarized (to a really impatient person) all the Jewish teachings to something along the lines of "Love each other".
