    I don't know if this makes it better or worse, but Spartan303 is permabanned from SB. Dunno why, and with how the mods act I doubt we'll ever find out. But I'm not going to complain about being rid of him.

    He certainly is. He's also a Nazi, just so you know. And I'm not just saying that because I don't like him, but because he wrote a book where the Nazis are presented as heroes. And not just the Wehrmacht, but the fucking Shutzstaffeln are presented as the ultimate fighting force who had nothing to do with that Hitler fellow.

    Well, assuming you can get a copy I would recommend doing so. It's not earth-shattering or anything but serval local historians enjoyed and the Local community including people who lived through seem to be appreciative of it.

    It helps that the writer/researcher got very involved with the community while writing the book and spent serval months doing interviewing the survivors of it, and when that wasn't possible those who had been close to those that didn't make it. Sadly the case with the movement back then and even today not everyone makes it.

    I'm not sure if you take suggestions or if that's presumptive, but I saw "Jarhead" mentioned in thread and I think that would be a great film for you to review. It's the most unconventional and realistic anti-war film I've seen.
