    Oh, he gave them a lot of money for help with AIDS. There's a WaPo article "George W. Bush: PEPFAR saves millions of lives in Africa. Keep it fully funded.". Also Reuters - "Former U.S. president Bush touts signature Africa AIDS program in Botswana".

    If he hadn't fucked up in Iraq he could have been a sort of example of someone acting on a Christian sense of charity. But unfortunately 9/11 happened and thus his legacy will be the rise of ISIS and instability. It's a huge missed opportunity and that makes it all the worse.
