    He's actually a Spanish man who was a double agent in WW2. He pretended to spy for the Germans, but he was actually working for the Allies. He fed the Germans false information, and with the help of British Intelligence, he created a whole fake spy network of a dozen men, all of which who didn't exist, who fed the Germans fake information.
