Hachiman Hikigaya and Iroha Isshiki find themselves lost in the midst of the French Revolution. To survive they will have to cross lines they never could've imagined to exist. They will have to do the impossible, attain victory from the jaws of defeat, to survive one of the most turbulent era's in history.
Life, they say, is a balancing act; carefully weighing one thing against another. Friends and families. Personal and public. Work and hobbies. Etc. Sometimes, it can be very difficult to get things just right. However, when one part of your life consists of high school teen drama and romantic comedy while the other consists of fighting the kaiju of the week as a Giant of Light everyone is afraid of then a balancing act can be a little more than difficult…
Love is war, in the game of court and romance, there will always be winner and loser. The first to fall in love, the first to confess, the first to lose the game. That isn't always the case when there's more than two sides involved.

Hikigaya Hachiman just wanted to live a normal life. A life where he knew where he was going, expectations for him were set in stone and a fundamental degree of sense applied.

Hikigaya Hachiman seeks "something genuine" in a land of fantasy and illusions. It doesn't make much sense to him either, but it's not like he had a choice.
In this world or in another. With blades and magic or without them. In a world where the elements answer to your beck and call depending on the color of your eyes, and the most important people around are "capture targets" to seduce and recruit. Yukinoshita Yukino will still do things the only way she knows.
To obtain a wish, a forlorn daughter did the unthinkable. Obtaining three souls from another world, a passing fancy of a genre became reality in Fodlan. Unknown to the world and unfamiliar with the land, the newly reinstated students from the land of the east made Gareg Mach their home. "We're in an isekai. Because of course we are."
High school is the bane of any teenager's existence. A truly evil institution intent on trampling upon individuality to make everyone conform to social standards. Though I never expected how true that would be for the Sith Academy where the first lesson of the day is how to get away with murder, and the second is tomb-robbing.
Hikigaya Hachiman finds himself traveling to the past but instead of normal time-travel, it seems like he travelled into an entirely new world filled with Demons and Demon Slayers. Even though he doesn't know how he arrived and who forced him to arrive, it seems likes the only way to return back home was to have a chat with Kibitsuji Muzan, the progenitor of Demons.
