For can a mere man, given a lens of a single future and fate, hope to divert the unceasing tide of desired causality?
This question is foremost on the mind of the man who wanders between worlds, seeking penance after falling from a grace of blood and fire, a grace he never wanted. Now, he intervenes in the course of a child's life, a life that will be a mighty struggle against destiny. But he will not struggle alone.
Even so, can one avert such ends as were once decreed utterly certain, or...

As a sage once said, "The depths of your foolishness!" This certainly applies to a tarnished who compulsively does every side quest she comes across. Doubly so if she does the DLC before actually getting around to burning the Erdtree.
Melina definitely feels that maybe she could have found someone else. Dealing with Goldmask and his finger waggling wouldn't have been so bad, right?

In 297 After Conquest, a group of waylaid sailors return to King's Landing with news. A foreign, unknown land has made itself known off the southern shores of Essos.
Meanwhile, Jon suffers from bizarre visions and dreams of colored fire, dragons, and a woman with a gloam-colored left eye.
And so, once again—

Barrett-12 just wanted to get out of Sol and go exploring. You know, see new places, meet new aliens, hopefully not have to kill them. He didn't sign up for this.
Melina just wanted to find an accommodating Tarnished to get her back to Leyndell. She didn't sign up for this.
Now here they both are, caught in the would-be trap of fate. But haven't you heard?
Guardians make their own fate.

Taylor really has no idea where she is. She definitely doesn't know what that enormous golden tree is, or what everyone's saying, or why skeletons keep trying to attack her.
At least she has a jar.
Worm/Elden Ring crossover where an unpowered Taylor gets thrown into the Lands Between, and attempts to survive through... unorthodox means.

In which ASoIaF stops pretending to be a low fantasy setting when all the magic comes back, thanks to a misplaced demonically corrupted Silver dragon. Good does not always triumph over Evil. What has been lost can not always be reclaimed. What has been forgotten cannot always be remembered. Some decay is irreversible. Winter is coming, but it will not do so alone. If the world doesn't end in fire, salt or shadow first?
It will end in ice.

Aight. I am going to fuse two things I like before ramming it into a genre neither of them belong to, stuffing as many cool things that I can be made to fit into the new setting as I can. I declare my intent to be as allergic to Bathos as I can be, and to write as sincerely as possible.

Demigods all, by birth or by might, resurrected in a foreign land by the immutable will of a God. Whatever its true plans, I know this to be certain. The Lord of Frenzied Flame cannot be allowed its victory. The destruction of so many, and the betrayal of my noble cause shall not go unpunished.
Thus did I swear in the ashes of all that was. I will deliver Destined Death upon thee, you who I once named friend.
For the countless innocents who died in the crucible of my arrogance.

The Tarnished Warrior messes up while using Miquella's needle and promptly manages to evict herself from her own world. Desperate to not fade away in the space between worlds, she manages to grab hold of a summoning ritual. Being somewhat familiar with the process, even if it was different, she manages to summon herself into the Fourth Holy Grail War in Fuyuki as a Servant in place of Fate/Zero's Caster. Chaos ensues from there.

I wasn't expecting to be reincarnated into an Egyptian family obsessed with a labyrinth…nor that in a world filled with Subcategory Holy Grail Wars happening around, my biggest problem is these damn dungeons that look taken from an Egyptian version of Elden Ring.
This is a story about the Lands Between, the Nasuverse, and Egyptian Mythology.

A collection of small words that may become stories some day. A well of snippets, each bucket ascending from the darkness below to bring forth a vessel full of liquids of questionable quality.
I have no idea if I have what it really takes to become an author, or if I am merely deluding myself into thinking this is a good idea. But here it is, my honest attempt.
Constructive criticism is very much appreciated.
