Powerpuff Girls Z, but at least 30% bloodier and either more or less moe. I can't decide.
Promo New
Drake Utonium's life kinda sucks. His father is a hard-ass dickhead who barely treats him with any respect. Most of his friends abandoned him a long time ago. And he gets dragged into these life-threatening missions every few months or so.

And right now, he's running from an giant evil monkey.

Drake is currently in Machimura, a city east of Tokyo. He was carried out here to deal with a monster and save Japan, but ended up making it a bigger issue when he fired a laser at the monster and causing beams of light to fall upon all of Japan, and possibly beyond.

Seems fun, can't say I'm the biggest fan of PPG, but I'll give this a chance, see how it goes.

Episode 1: "Our Absolute Strongest" (Part 1) New
Sorry for the wait.

October 10, 2005. Monsters have invaded Japan, and are currently mowing down a small city. Nothing, not even the full power of the Japanese military or their top scientists, can stop them.

The mayor of Machimura City, the city next to the one currently being destroyed, has a secret weapon on his hands, however: US Senator Alistair Utonium, who himself has connections to a dealer of powerful weapons, some of which are more powerful than that of the atom bomb, was his high school government teacher, and is also his best friend. So the mayor calls Senator Utonium, hoping to get some of those weapons to give to the military to lay waste to these monsters and save the city... and the country. And the world.

Utonium, however, has different plans.

Enter: Alistair Utonium's son, Drake Utonium.

Barely eighteen, no friends, no job, no real life outside of video games, anime, and other general otaku stuff. His father's a douchebag, his mother was killed by the Mexican cartel when he was seven, his brother's off somewhere in Europe with no way to contact him, and he spends most of his life withering away in his room. The only thing going for him is the fact that he's a genius.

Drake's life kinda sucks. And it's about to get worse.

"Pack your bags, Drake. You've got a monster to fight in Japan."

Part 2

So there he was. Drake Utonium, age 18, from Atlanta, Georgia, standing outside of an airport in Machimura City, Tokyo, Japan, staring down the eyes of what looked to be a giant praying mantis. And by giant, I mean, as tall as the airport. Perhaps even taller. The mantis was just standing there... staring at him. This was one of the monsters that was causing mass destruction earlier?

Drake had no weapons, no backup, and no way out of this. He feared that if he went away, the monster would just go back to attacking the city. But he couldn't just stand there all day. He needed to do something...

He stood there for a good seven minutes or so, staring at the monster, the monster staring back at him. Then, it hit him...

"I have to go to the bathroom."

So, he walks away to go to the bathroom, and the monster follows him into the building, where... BAM! Drake is ambushed by a group of green-skinned bad guys!

The bad guys shoot at him with an assortment of ranged weapons, none of them hitting him. They have incredibly bad aim, ya know. Drake runs out of the bathroom, and back outside, where the mantis is fighting a giant butterfly. They both stop and inch closer toward him.

"What is drawing them to me?" Drake asks himself. He looks around for any food or anything that could give off that smell. Maybe it's his clothes?

Drake, realizing that he won't be able to get these monsters on his own with no weapons, decides to go see someone about the situation, like maybe... the mayor. His father did mention that he had connections to the mayor of this city. So he runs off to the town hall, or whatever Japan's equivalent of a town hall is. The monsters follow him.

Drake is greeted by two men in suits. One of them wears a black tie, one of them wears a gray tie.

"You are Drake Utonium, correct? Alistair's son?" Black-tie asks.

"Yes," Drake replies.

"Come with us," Gray-tie tells Drake. "We have to talk to you."

As they're in the elevator, Black-tie explains the situation.

"Here's the deal. Your father has sent you here because we believe you carry an important key to defeating our nation's little... infestation."

"Huh?"

"We're being attacked by what has been coined as Mondaiji."

"Mondaiji?"

"Yes. We believe Mondaiji are created through a sort of chemical reaction. We're just not sure which chemicals. That's what we need you to figure out. You have an IQ of 160, no?"

Drake isn't sure how he felt about being singled out for such a task just because of his IQ, especially when his dad specifically told him he'd be fighting this monster, a task he already didn't really want to do.

"If we can figure out what's causing these monsters to come into existence, we can find the necessary tools to destroy them, and bring peace to our nation. But for that, we'll need your intellect. So how about it, Utonium?"

Part 3 later today, maybe.
