I was reincarnated into the DC Comics universe and lived a peaceful life as an ordinary scientist. However, one day, I came across a being that shouldn't exist in this world, and my once-peaceful life was thrown into jeopardy.

Why is Son Goku in the DC Universe???

My name is Donnelly Marcos, and I'm an ordinary scientist. I used to be a human living in the real world, but after my death, I somehow reincarnated into the DC Universe.

However, just because I was reincarnated into a world full of famous superheroes doesn't mean I felt compelled to become a hero out of goodwill or a villain out of greed. That's because I don't have any special powers, I lack athletic ability, and I certainly don't have the courage to risk my life in a fight.

And so, I've been living a peaceful life as a normal civilian scientist. Honestly, I have no complaints about my current life. In fact, I'm quite satisfied.

Here, I'm a highly respected and promising scientist in academia, earning a great deal of money. On top of that, both of my parents are alive and healthy.

That doesn't mean I'm entirely free of worries, though. Living in a world filled with aliens, mythical gods, and monsters, it's only natural for me to feel anxious.

To make matters worse, I still don't know which version of Earth in the DC Universe I'm on. The Justice Society already exists, but the Justice League hasn't been formed yet. Damn it, I really hope this isn't some zombie world like DCeased.

Anyway, my life has been going smoothly—well, until I found a kid with a monkey tail lying in front of me, bleeding.

"Wha... What the fuck...?"

The strange little boy with spiky black hair looks, as far as I can tell, like the protagonist of the anime Dragon Ball. I only watched a little of the show as a kid, but there's no way I could forget that iconic hairstyle.

"If I don't do something quickly, he'll die!"

Setting aside my shock, I quickly picked him up.

At that moment, I realized the chaos and complications that might arise if I took this boy to a hospital.

If this monkey-tailed Saiyan kid were admitted to a hospital, he might end up exposed to ruthless media or even experimented on by the government. Knowing someone like Amanda Waller might get involved, it's obvious what would happen..

"Damn it."

With no other choice, I laid the kid—who looked just like Son Goku—in the back seat of my car. I grabbed a first aid kit, disinfected and dressed the wound on his head, gave him some painkillers, and started driving to my house.

About ten minutes earlier, I had been resting at home when I saw what looked like a giant meteor crashing into the forested mountain behind my house. Curious, I drove to the site to investigate.

Since my house is in a remote area, I was the only one who checked out the location.

What I found was a strange, open spaceship lodged in the center of a massive crater caused by the impact. Nearby, I found this injured boy.

Around him, I also noticed a large, bloodied boulder that seemed to have been dislodged by a landslide triggered by the crash. The boy probably exited the spaceship and got caught in the landslide, injuring his head.

"Damn it. If he dies from a brain hemorrhage, I hope no one blames me."

Maybe I should've taken him to a hospital. Even though he's an alien and not a metahuman, and even though it might mean handing him over to an experimental table else, wouldn't that still be better than letting this kid die after my half-hearted first aid? Yeah, now I'm just a piece of trash who chose not to send the injured child to a hospital and instead let him die after only giving him first aid....

"Uggghh..."

Oh, thank God. The painkillers seem to be working. His expression is gradually changing from one of pain to one of comfort.

A few more minutes passed, and he was now snoring peacefully.

"Huh... Is he really Son Goku?"

Upon closer inspection, his tail wasn't fake—it was a real part of the body. And his body, though still a child's, was far more muscular than what you'd expect for his age. He really might be a Saiyan.

Is it even okay for Saiyans to exist in the DC Universe? I have no idea what dimension I'm in anymore...

If I'd known something like this would happen, I would've watched Dragon Ball and DC Comics way more thoroughly.

After that, I took Goku to my house and laid him on the bed. While he was still unconscious, I spent the next few days feeding him soup so he wouldn't starve to death.

In the Dragon Ball anime, his metabolism is insane, and he needs an absurd amount of food. I didn't know exactly how much to give him, so I just made as much as I could. For each meal, I ended up cooking five large pots of soup. If the scenes in the anime weren't exaggerated, I figured that should be enough.

Five days passed. He fully recovered and regained consciousness. But while I was out of the house, he completely emptied my fridge and ran off somewhere.

Judging by the shattered window in the room where he had been staying, it seems he escaped through there.

"Shit."

My kitchen is now a complete mess, littered with fruit peels, plastic wrappers, and food containers. When am I going to clean all this up?

"If he goes to another neighborhood and causes trouble..."

This world is at a point where heroes like Superman and Batman are just starting to appear. Laws protecting the rights of metahumans or aliens don't exist yet.

Sure, there were superhero teams like the Justice Society in the past, but beings like them are still uncommon, so they're not treated very well.

On top of that, he's a Saiyan, which means he's likely aggressive and violent by nature. If he gets into a confrontation with someone, he definitely won't back down from a fight.

*Crash!*

I heard the sound of a dish breaking nearby. He's still in the house!

What if he attacks me when I try to catch him? But I can't just leave him wandering around; it's dangerous if he messes with something like an electrical outlet. I have to stop him.

"No choice..."

I quietly peeked out through the crack of the door. To my horror, I found his eyes staring directly at me, very close away from the door.

"Ahhhhhhh!!!"

Oh, crap. Startled, I slammed the door open and accidentally hit him right in the face. Fuck.

"Uh... Are you okay? I didn't mean to hurt you! please!!"

"Grrrr...!!!"

Ow!! He lunged at me and started scratching and attacking me relentlessly. It's over for me now.

"Ahh!! Ouch! I'm sorry! I'm really sorry! Please stop!!!"

When I cowered in fear, I pathetly and curling up on the floor. And strangely, the he attacks stopped.

I opened my eyes slightly and saw him staring at me, looking a bit guilty and confused. After a brief pause, he bolted out through the broken window.

"Wait! Come back!!!"

Yeah, he completely ignored me and disappeared into the forest behind the house.
Does he remember that he's an alien? From what I recall, in the anime, he lost his memory after hitting his head.

He hit his head here, too, so maybe he really has lost his memory. If he remembered everything, I doubt he'd have shown me any mercy.

Great... I can't keep him contained anymore. I don't have the strength to stop him. He's like a wild, feral monkey—it's impossible to control him.

"Ughh... I give up. I'm done worrying about him."

Just look at me. I'm covered in scratches, bruises, and claw marks, and my clothes are completely torn to shreds.

I'm not even his parent—why am I risking my life for him? He's Son Goku. Even as a baby, he could tear me apart.

"This is really the worst day ever..."

Previously, I decided to ignore Goku, but in truth, I couldn't.

After all, Son Goku is not a part of the DC Universe canon. His very existence is a massive variable.

I've often seen DC and Dragon Ball fandoms clash over the topic of "Superman vs. Goku." My point isn't to predict the outcome of such a fight, but rather to highlight that Goku is so powerful and dangerous that he is often compared to Superman.

Right now, he's just a child, and he saved my life, so I know he's not a villain—yet. But the future is uncertain.

Pure-hearted individuals are like blank paper, easily tainted. And this world is not the Earth of Dragon Ball.

While powerful anyone should be watched carefully, one must also beware of con artists and insane psychopaths.

Just imagine: if Goku were to encounter someone like the Joker or Lex Luthor and became a twisted villain, it would be horrifying.

If he turned into a villain, he would become a massive threat to this world. And I, too, could end up in danger.

That's why I must remain vigilant. Unlike the Earth of Dragon Ball, this world's advancements in communication and regional development mean there are eyes everywhere, and the untouched wilderness is limited.

Fortunately, the area around my home is still underdeveloped, with a relatively large forest nearby. Within a 100-mile radius, the only man-made structures are highways, rest stops, and gas stations.

However, considering Goku's mobility, it's highly likely that he'll expand his range of activity soon.

Additionally, I still have his spaceship and armor stored away, which means he left dressed in ordinary clothes.

Soon, as he wanders around, his clothes will inevitably get damaged. Based on his behavior in the anime, I can confidently assume he won't care in the slightest if his clothes are ruined.

And what about his interactions with other people? There's even a chance the police might accuse me of child abuse simply for sheltering and treating him in my home.

Luckily, I've installed several CCTV cameras throughout the nearby forest for my research and experiments. Since he hasn't been gone for long, I need to check the footage immediately.

"I never thought I'd end up using my experimental cameras like this. It feels like I'm playing some kind of horror game about a pizza place..."

I quickly connected the live feed from the CCTVs to my laptop, and finally, I spotted Goku. He was climbing a tree in the northern part of the forest. My god, he looks like he's barely three years old, yet he already has this much strength.

He's hopping between trees, playing as if he really were a baby monkey. He's cute, but at the same time, he looks like a wild animal.

"How can I make him stay close enough to keep an eye on him…?"

I thought hard about it. In the anime, Goku loved fighting and had a free-spirited nature. However, he rarely left Mount Paozu because that was where his grandfather Gohan's house was.

Damn it, do I have to become his family now? I'm not even married, and I don't plan to be anytime soon—how could I possibly raise a kid? I was the youngest among my relatives, so I've never had to take care of a baby before! Even in my previous life, I never kept a pet!

What about his appetite? Could I lure him with delicious food and try to befriend him that way? I don't expect him to stay in my house permanently. I'd be content just to have the opportunity to teach him basic manners and common sense.

Since he's practically a wild animal, forcing him to stay in one place might make him depressed and lead him to grow up in a twisted way. Someone with his level of energy and vitality needs a wide range to roam, like an animal.

God, I'm terrible. I'm thinking of this little kid like he's some kind of beast. But I can't think of any other way to coexist with him!

"I'm sorry, Goku. But I honestly can't handle you completely."

The idea of raising him by half-abandoning him in the wild seems cruel, even to me. But at least it considers his future and happiness.

Goku not only needs to grow up with a good heart, but he also needs to develop the strength to match his aggressive nature and active behavior. If he becomes strong enough, I won't have to worry about him being in danger anymore. Until he finds a good mentor, he should explore the world and learn through fighting. Because right now, I can't be certain that Goku is the only Dragon Ball character in this world.

Imagine if other Saiyans or even Frieza invaded while he was still weaker than in the anime—that would be terrifying.

Alright. It's time to teach him that a kind human frequently appears in this forest to give him lots of delicious food. As we grow closer, I'll start teaching him various basic concepts and common sense.

Of course, I can't approach him with my real face. That's because Goku is very likely to become famous soon due to his actions.

So, I'll avoid bringing him into my home and instead hide my identity and visit him myself. It might seem harsh, but honestly, I really don't want to get caught up in his fights.

<08.10.2001 - 12:42 AM - Northern Forest, Kansas>

So, I managed to befriend Goku in just three days. When I first approached him, I wore a Siamese cat mask along with an black hat, black pants, and black hoodie. Maybe because I had hit his face with a door during our first meeting, he didn't seem to like me very much. However, since he was still young, I was able to earn his trust fairly easily.

Right now, Goku is devouring the massive amount of food I prepared on the mat I laid on. It's beast like, but also very Saiyan-like.

As I mentioned before, it seems he's truly lost all his memories due to the head injury he suffered. After spending time with him, I've observed that he doesn't even understand language and behaves like a pure, instinct-driven child—more like an animal than a person.

I really need to teach him not to take food from strangers, no matter how tempting it might be.

Over the course of about two weeks, I invested time in teaching him English, basic manners, and common sense. He's learning steadily, but there are still some serious issues. He's struggling with math, writing, and distinguishing gender based on appearance, despite my efforts.

"Alright, Goku, do you know the number that comes after six now?"

"Yeah! It's five!"

"…"

Ah, damn it, what more can I do? I've been using early childhood education tools, showing him visual aids, and even incorporating toys to make learning easier, but this is the result—ha!

And he still can't tell the difference between men and women based on how people look. It's possible the head injury affected his intelligence. Damn it.

"No, the number after six is seven. Say it with me! Seven!"

"Seven!"

"Good job!"

I rewarded him with a caramel, like you'd treat a dog, and patted his head.

Call me crazy—I can't deny it. Even I think I'm a trash educator treating a kid like a pet in training.

But I have my reasons. He doesn't fully trust or rely on me like a parent yet, and he could abandon me and leave anytime. That's why I resort to this method of teaching.

At least he's not completely clueless. In fact, aside from math and similar subjects, he learns everything else very quickly and has a natural knack for adapting and applying knowledge. He simply doesn't know much yet. His cognitive abilities and sense of spatial awareness are impressive; it's just his memory that lags behind kids his age.

He especially excels at learning physical activities.

So I discovered that the best way for him to learn is through demonstration, and I've been teaching him most of what he needs to know using that method.

The main hurdles left now are math, distinguishing genders, and writing.

"Alright, time's up for today. I'll be going now. Bye!"

"Okay, bye!"

He watched me leave with a slightly disappointed expression.

Thanks to all the lessons so far, he's learned a lot. He won't strip in public anymore, nor will he hit someone in the groin to figure out their gender.

Maybe, I'll be able to rest a bit easier.

In three days, the full moon will rise. I plan to bring him to my house before night falls that day. That's the one day I've allowed him to come to my house.

He knows I wouldn't like it if he came uninvited, so he doesn't, out of consideration. For now, since he's never left this forest, I'm the only person he knows.

I just hope that this full moon night passes without incident.

So, what happened? The result is that we'll probably have a very calm and stable night.

To ensure Goku would fall asleep quickly, I decided to wear him out as much as possible during the day. Under the pretense of "training," I assigned him all sorts of exhausting tasks to drain his energy to its limit.

First, I made him carry a heavy boulder on his back and climb up and down a mountain about ten times. When he still seemed full of energy afterward, I recreated the scenario from the original Dragon Ball animation—hiding a stone engraved with a special symbol deep in the forest—and sent him on a wild hunt to find it.

When the sky turned red as the sun began to set, he finally came back to me with the stone in hand. He looked completely drained, and I felt a twinge of guilt seeing him so exhausted.

But, of course, I couldn't let him skip washing up before dinner. I dragged him to my bathroom, taught him how to brush his teeth and bathe properly, and then gave him a fresh set of clothes.

When I finally allowed him to eat dinner, he pounced on the dining table like a ravenous tiger and began devouring everything without restraint.

-Note to self: Next time, I absolutely must teach him proper table manners. No excuses.-

He asked for refill more than ten times, and by the time he finished eating, I could finally rest my aching body.

-Fuuck… My spine feels like it's been ground to powder. I'm already dead.-

"Mm... Siamese, I'm sleepy…"

Earlier, I had told him to call me "Siamese" to match the my mask I wear. He's been calling me that ever since, completely unaware of my real name.

His sleepy, whiny voice barely registered in my exhausted mind as I replied quietly.

"There's a guest room upstairs. You can sleep in the bed there…"

"Okay, good night, Siamese!"

Cheerfully, he waved at me before running upstairs.

-Alright… Now I just have to wash this ridiculous mountain of dishes, and then I can sleep too.-

Dragging my weary body to the sink, I looked at the dishes piled high.

Thankfully, I had already locked and covered all the windows that could let in moonlight. I had lied to Goku earlier, telling him that if a monster called the Great Ape saw us through the windows during a full moon, it would crush us while we slept. Because of that, he wouldn't dare touch the nailed-down boards or even try to open the windows.

"But honestly, I worry about how naïve he is. What if, in the future, he grows up and gets scammed by someone? What if he ends up falling for a con artist and lands himself in debt? There's no way I'd let that happen. If he doesn't wise up enough to avoid such situations, I'll make sure he never touches money in his entire life.................Wait, why am I even planning to take responsibility for him his whole life? Once he's an adult, it's not my problem anymore!"

As long as he doesn't turn into some kind of villain, I really don't care what he does. Honestly, I don't care. Not one bit.

But for now, these damn dishes are my problem. My arms are already killing me, and I've barely made any progress.

Goku must be sleeping peacefully upstairs, right? Of course, he must be. If he'd already seen the full moon, I'd be nothing but ground meat by now.

…But why does the back feel get goosebumps.?

"Donnelly Marcos. What are you planning to do to him?"

*Crash!*

"AAAAHHHHHH!!!"

What the fuck?! Why is Batman standing behind me, glaring like that?!

Startled, I flailed and stumbled, breaking one of the dishes in the process. Batman, without hesitation, stepped closer and grabbed me by the collar, lifting me effortlessly.

"I've been watching you since the moment you found that alien. Lie to me, and I'll break your arm."

Oh, shit. Why the hell did I underestimate Batman? Sure, he's still a rookie, but he's *still* Batman!

I didn't think he'd actually show up here! Someone save me!

"I-I just couldn't ignore him! If something happened to that kid, I'd feel responsible! I helped him once, and now I just… kept helping him!"

"Then why are you doing it in such a half-assed way? I've seen him sleeping alone in the woods, looking lonely. Ever since he started following you, he's been isolated. You treat him like an animal, pushing him around and making him do all sorts of grueling tasks. And now, tonight, you suddenly bring him into your house and barricade all the windows. Why?"

His glare grew even sharper, and it felt like he was about to crush me right there.

Why the hell am I being treated like a criminal? All I've done is help! Sure, I may have treated him a little like a suspicious kidnapper would, and maybe I put him through tough training for my own reasons. And okay, maybe I secretly hoped he'd protect me when he grows stronger. But does that really make me a bad person?!

"Stop!"

Before Batman could say anything else, something small flew toward him and tried to kick him. Batman let go of me and effortlessly dodged, turning to face the new attacker.

It was Goku.

He glared at Batman before running over to shield me, standing protectively in front of me.

"Siamese didn't do anything wrong! He's a good guy! Even when he's tired and struggling, he still worries about me!

Goku stood firmly, his fists clenched, ready to fight.

"He's not bad! The bad one is you, hurting someone weaker than you!"

…I'm not going to lie, I'm touched. Is this what it feels like to raise a child? Even though he's not my kid.

"If you don't want to get hurt, step aside. I'm going to find out if your 'guardian' is really as innocent as you say. I don't harm the innocent. Unless you think he's guilty and just don't want to admit it."

"Ugh… No way! Siamese isn't bad at all! Check if you want!"

-Fucking Batman! My mental health is already in shambles from you!-

"Alright, then."

Batman turned back to me, stepping closer, his voice like ice.

"Start talking. Everything. Don't leave anything out."

Oh god. Somebody help me.

Do I really have to tell him everything truthfully? If I want to honestly reveal the reason I boarded up all the windows in my house as he wishes, I'd also have to reveal my origins. And obviously, there's no way I'd do that. I can only tell him the truth that doesn't concern him.

But this man standing before me in his pitch-black bat suit is undeniably a novice deity, and he seems to lack experience with phenomena like reincarnation or parallel universes.

"Honestly… I don't think you'll believe what I say."

"I'll decide what's believable. Start talking."

"Fine… but I'll tell you everything after we put Goku back to sleep."

"Get him back to bed. Then, we talk. Outside."

Yeah, I don't know anymore. I have no choice but to go along with his stubborn demands. If I don't, I feel like he'll resort to mental torture right away.

The thing I hate most is pain. Perhaps that's why, even in my previous life as a child, I used to cry over the smallest injuries and was often teased as a pathetic crybaby. So, Batman doesn't even need to torture me harshly to force my mouth open.

Would there be any point in resisting and getting beaten up for no reason? Maybe telling him about the Dragon Balls, even if not everything, would actually be a good idea for the sake of my own safety in the future.

"Goku. Sorry for waking you up because of that bat. You can go back upstairs and sleep."

"But what if he fights you again? You'll be fine, right?"

"No, he won't anymore. Go back upstairs and sleep, or you'll stay short for the rest of your life."

"No way! I'm going to bed right now! But you'd better not get hurt!"

Goku, initially shocked, brightened up and headed back upstairs.

Now it was just me and Batman, but since I wasn't sure if Goku might still be eavesdropping, I needed to take precautions.

"What I'm about to say isn't something that kid should hear. Or maybe anyone else besides you."

"I know a place where we can talk secretly. Follow me."

I followed Batman outside, and shortly after, we arrived at a hidden spot next to the Batmobile.

"Get in."

As the Batmobile door opened automatically, I glanced inside curiously before stepping in.

Batman entered the vehicle as well, and the door shut again.

"There's no chance anyone can eavesdrop now. Speak."

"Alright… Do you know about the theory of parallel worlds?"

"I do. Are you claiming it's true?"

Maybe it's because he has a magician as a friend? Surprisingly, he isn't fazed by the mention of such a surreal theory.

"It might sound too outlandish, but that's the only way I can explain my situation."

"Just say everything."

I took a deep breath and began explaining everything except for anything related to DC Comics.

I came from another Earth with no aliens or metahumans, and as a child in that world, I briefly watched an anime called Dragon Ball. Of course, I never watched Dragon Ball Super, GT, or read the original manga, and I don't remember all the details.

I only watched up to the episode where Goku hurriedly set off for Planet Namek. Not long after that, I became obsessed with Overwatch and stopped watching TV unless it was for news.

Afterward, all I knew about Dragon Ball came from bits and pieces my friends told me, like how Vegeta became Goku's rival-turned-comrade, Frieza lost to Goku, and villains like Cell and Majin Buu showed up later. That's about it.

But I only told Batman about the original Dragon Ball, completely omitting Dragon Ball Z.

"So, in summary, I remember my previous life, and I've met a character I used to watch on TV as a child here."

"…"

He continues to glare at me, still unconvinced.

Fucking, what else can I do? I've already told him the truth!

"For now, I'll 'allow' you to keep looking after him. 'For now.'"

Yes! For now, he says. What an arrogant bastard BITCH.

"I'll return soon with someone who can verify your claims. Remember, no matter where you run, I'll be watching you."

"Understood…"

"Get out."

Looking at his face like this pisses me off even more.

With a tired expression, I got out of the car and watched the Batmobile leave before sighing and heading back to my house.

When I finally opened the front door, I found Goku standing there, seemingly debating whether to go outside.

Yep, he looked startled to see me suddenly and stared up at me with a dumbfounded expression.

Thankfully, it was late at night, and the moonlight wasn't shining behind me. Otherwise, he might've crushed me the moment he opened the door and saw the moonlight.

"Hey, he's gone now, so there's nothing to interrupt your sleep anymore. Why don't you go back and rest? Don't you want to play tomorrow morning?"

"Okay! I'm going to bed now! Goodnight!"

Satisfied that I was safe, he smiled brightly and dashed back upstairs.

"Ugh… I still haven't finished the dishes…"

By the way, Batman probably planted a bug in my house. He doesn't trust me. And if I try to remove it, I know he'll show up again—and next time, he'll come back and kill me.

The next day, we made it through the full moon night without any issues, but because Batman had revealed my name in front of Goku the day before, I had to spend a long time explaining to Goku why I kept my name a secret and why he shouldn't act like he knew me when I was without my mask.

I still can't forget the way he looked at me with that hurt expression after I finished explaining. Why is it that I always end up being the one who's in the wrong?

And why, of all times, did Batman have to show up in front of me again so early like this?

"Is this the Dragon Ball you mentioned?"

He showed me a yellow crystal sphere with five red stars on it.

What... what the fuck?

"Why the do you have a Dragon Ball!?"

"That's none of your concern.

Fucking damn it, why is there a Dragon Ball in the DC Universe!? This isn't supposed to be DB earth, is it?! There's no Capsule Corporation here, no dinosaurs—so why the hell is there a Dragon Ball!?

"After a thorough investigation, I've confirmed that the Dragon Ball legend is real. It's an ancient myth, but there was a time, long ago, when someone gathered all seven and made a wish."

"If this thing is real, why hasn't some more powerful being already taken it for themselves?"

"Because the other Dragon Balls are either hidden in places no one can reach or in locations that are completely unknown. No one can just walk up and grab them."

So that's why no one's trying to gather the Dragon Balls now... Makes sense. But still, even so...

"Then it's been confirmed that what I said was the truth. So why are you here again?"

"Because you're an inadequate protector for that child."

Yeep, yep, I know I'm a terrible protector.

"Despite his age, the child has a natural fighting instinct and strength. If he strays off course or turns rebellious, you won't be able to control him."

...He's right. Once he starts going down the wrong path, there's no way I'll be able to stop him.

"You know it too, don't you? That's why you've been hiding your identity—you don't want to become a target for the danger he'll eventually bring."

"Even if you criticize me, I hope you understand that I'm not his parent."

I've done my best. In my own way.

Honestly, I could have just ignored him and let him die. But because of the enemies that might come in the distant future, and because I still remember how much I admired and loved Goku when I was young, how happy and excited I felt watching his shows—because of all that, I didn't ignore him, I helped him.

"I know. You're not obligated to take responsibility for him. But even so, the reason you're helping him... isn't it because you want what's best for him?"

"So, what are you trying to say?"

"I'll help teach him, sometimes. But only the things you're incapable of teaching him."

"What?"

Batman voluntarily becoming his mentor...?

"You're serious?"

"I'm not saying I'll teach him martial arts. I don't have the time for that. I'll only teach him what he needs to know, nothing more.

I never imagined this... Batman himself offering to help teach Goku...

Of course, I knew that eventually, Goku would need another teacher aside from me. I can't teach him everything, and there are still limits to what my educationing can provide.

"I'll teach him stealth, evasion, how to disappear, how to read deception, and self-defense. If he's as combative as you say, he won't be able to avoid fights forever."

"I hate to admit it... but you're right. It's actually helpful."

That was exactly what Goku needed! Skills I could never teach him, but ones he absolutely required!

"So, when does his training begin?"

"Now."
