If they just disappear, whoever sent them might send even MORE spies, to figure out what went wrong. And we really do need the extra magic, with how we're spending it.

Could be a spy from Sulqueum, maybe a dragon hatching trying to survive and get something out of this, I'm however interested in minions.

Also I expect Etorix to be careful enough after Maven stole from him.

@Packrat, is there a reason the "confront them quietly" option has us contacting them instead of ambushing them? Shouldn't we be wary of them running away?

Because they present no real danger or obstacle to you and would be unable to escape unless you let them. A hatchling of this age is about as much of a worry to handle for you as a five pound puppy would be to a 180 lb adult human in good health wearing gloves and boots.

I did mean contacting in person.

The possibility of a baby dragon minion is not to be underestimated.

Remember, that's how Sulqueum is operating magitech fighters.

Confront the infiltrator, give her a chance to swear loyaly and join the cause.

Note that this also solves a lot of the Benefactor mana problems. One young dragon chipping in on mana-hungry projects can contribute a lot of wattage compared to any number of human mages.

I don't mind the confirmation option, but honestly even the best-case scenario of gaining a minion does not seem worth 3 magic. Magic is massively valuable right now, because of how it lets us "snowball" by defeating other dragons or advancing our faith. In contrast, a minion could be useful or they could be trouble thanks to betrayal on their part. So I vote to just take the free meal.

Ideally we can turn her, no one says that dragons can't worship other dragons. If that fails then we eat her.
