After three long years of study and practice, your time has finally come. The Black Magisters are preparing the practical portion of your final assessment in the next chamber, and it'll be sink or swim soon enough. As for the theoretical, you performed

Whatever wins will be the full name. There's no standard format it needs to adhere to, but longer is less common, with one or two names being typical.

Wanted the E. Vil pun, found out Ellis is gender neutral and means benevolent, and remembered that Vile is a real last name, so i went with this for the pun and dichotomy.
Then i realized that Alice was a last name too and looked for names starting with M.
These were the two i liked more:

Miasma is disease/debuff, usually damage-over-time for actually injuring the target. Malice is more abstract and relies on raw power for its basic spells, since it's the root force behind black magic's destructive nature.

Starter Spell Overview
I made some icons for the spells the talents give you, so here they are along with brief descriptions:
Frost
: Moderate accuracy, moderate damage, debuffs.
Flare
: Moderate accuracy, high damage.
Infection
: Moderate accuracy, damage over time (low to very high over a reasonable duration), progressive debuff.
Bolt
: High accuracy, moderate damage.
Bale
: Moderate accuracy, very high damage, expensive to cast.
All of them besides Bale have the practical limitations and advantages you'd expect (fire is better against flammable things than flame-retardant things, etc).
You can acquire any of them later, the vote only determines what spell you're currently relying on offensively. Getting others will cost EXP, though.
(The snow effect on the Frost icon isn't really visible, at least on darker backgrounds, but I noticed too late and it'd take a disproportionate amount of effort to fix, so it is what it is.)

Given that the name option is split between several options with a vote each, some people haven't voted for any, and the front-runner only has two votes for it, there'll be runoff vote between the submissions thus far.
