Even if we had the strength, I imagine any kind of gas would do the job against us. We still need to breathe, after all.
As for the guys, they haven't done anything to adress our actual concernts. If this is, as they say, a light studying for the war effort by the government, I'm sure as hell that there are better, safer and more efficient ways to do it than trying to kindap teenagers with super powers from the streets. Like talking to parents and paying for it and signing contracts. Once they implement those we can talk more.

Yep, you've pretty much laid out my concerns, too!
I can imagine all sorts of ways to hurt someone with only invulnerability and flight... beams to the eyes, gases, liquids, being stronger than they are and keeping them trapped, sonic/mental attacks etc.

Heck, get away, and remask as cute little kids. If they figure out who we are we just have to scream that some stranger is trying to get us to go in a van for candy. I'm not sure even producing government IDs would help much at that point. I'd feel sorry about the beating they'd get from nearby adults, but they actually are trying to kidnap us.
Of course then we'd need to escape from the well intentioned and protective adults. But that's a less immediately dangerous situation to deal with.

That is not what you were expecting, and, the way Carter's friends - coworkers? - look at her, they weren't expecting it either.
"Okay, so. I don't want to be shot at. You don't want me to ruin another van, you don't want to find out what my friend can do to you, and you don't want me to steal more pants or drop you from too high again. About right?"
"We want you to come with us," Royal Blue reminds you, "and be studied. The government needs your information."
"Well, look, I don't like people beating up my city either. Gets in the way of business n' stuff." Where did you get this confident?

They share a look. Looks like Red is actually in charge, interesting. They must have brought Royal Blue along because the guns didn't work.
"We'd rather you consent to inpatient testing," Carter says.
"But." Red's throat-clear is uncomfortable. "If you, your friend, and her mother want to come by our office at 8 a.m. tomorrow-" Red holds out a card.
You gesture at the table between you; Red sets the card on the table and you pick it up.
"-We can leave the guns at home and you can manage not to ruin another van. Or another agent. Sound like a deal?"
"8 a.m. tomorrow." You look at the address. "Hrrm. Bus fare?"
"You have got to be kidding-" Royal Blue growls. Red uses a very useful hand gesture of authority, you have to learn that gesture, and Royal Blue quiets.
Red puts $10 in singles on the table. "That ought to cover it. We'll see you tomorrow."

Red nods, and, even though Royal Blue is grumbling, they leave slowly.
Once they are gone, Farrah slinks out from behind you. "I can't," she whispers. "I can't. My mom --" She blinks. "But you don't have an adult, do you? But Rhi - I can't tell my mom!"

While I agree with the general sentiment that her mom would probably be okay with it, I don't think we have the right to push her on it. Farrah knows her mother better than we do and has a lot more to lose if she reacts badly, while we're standing to gain a lot and lose very little. Getting real "forcing someone to come out to their parents" vibes from this.
