<QUERY>
Well, well. What do we have here? Some kind of observational plane?

<QUERY-DISCOVERY>
What have you found, Variant?

<ANSWER.POSSIBILITY>
I do believe we are being observed, not by fellow Kindred, but by something I am unable to observe as well. I think we may have stumbled upon the Dreamers watching us, Divergent.

<SURPRISE/QUERY>
Dreamers!? Oh my. Does that mean we are involved in a narrative now?

<STATEMENT.INFORMATION.SUGGESTION>
That may very well be the case now. I have heard about these from other Kindred, when the Dreamers wish so dearly to be more in touch with their dreams. This allows them to define a narrative, if not create it outright. Perhaps we should go along with it.

<STATEMENT.ACCEPTANCE>
Likely the most exciting thing to happen to us in eons! I think we should, Variant

<EXCITEMENT/QUERY….SHOCK>
Oh what fun this will be! Now, where are they observing? Oh. Oh my. Divergent there is one of our kind upon the planet.

<QUERY>
Kindred or an Entity?

<ANSWER.OBSERVATION/ANNOYANCE.RESIGNATION>
Entity. Looks rather pathetic, although another may have recently died. I see more than one type of Shard seeding multiple worlds. I suppose we will have to hide ourselves away once more. I wish I could sigh.

<STATEMENT-OBSERVATION.INFORMATION>
Ah. It's an Earth. Well that's not surprising in the slightest. Hmm, of all the Clusters I can observe from here, this particular Earth has quite a few variants with wildly different changes. Ah, it is a Dimensional Cluster too, they've even breached onto another Earth. Most of them have in fact.

<CHASTISEMENT/QUERY-POSSIBILITIES>
Enough of that, the Dreamers want their narrative Divergent. What do you see in all the Clusters you observe? If we are to do this, then we must do this right.

<APOLOGETIC/VARIATIONS-INFORMATION>
Ah, my bad. The possibilities are always so exciting. The Earth's narrative tends to run around a single girl. Be she alive, dead, suffering or happy. It generally revolves around her. Even the False Dreamers sometimes appear in the world, Avatars of the true Dreamers and they focus so much on her. Khepri as she is often known, in the end.

<INTEREST/ACKNOWLEDGMENT.POSSIBILITIES-CHOICE>
Ah! I see why you would become distracted then. Such an interesting girl then, to bear so much weight across so many Clusters, across so many worlds. But we have waxed on long enough Divergent, the Dreamers will become restless. Dreamers as you see this, read this, hear this. Tell us your choice as we list them

[x] <GODDESS>: Known by many names, with thousands of different powers. Here Taylor Hebert is just a ten year old girl that survived a car crash that ended the life of her parents and took the function of her legs. This is the worst day of her life, with only her best friend giving her any comfort. With our intervention she will not have to be as alone as she thinks she is. (Taylor Hebert)

[X] <COMMONER>: You do not know their name, their face, or their dreams. They were never the focus of any story. They would live and die without any recognition. Maybe they would have powers, maybe they would have nothing but suffering. Or their lives are fed by silver spoons, and they know no hardship. Perhaps they would come from humble means, content with their life. Until now, at their lowest we come and give them the strength they always yearned for but never tasted. The warmth of many. (QM OC)

[X] <GOLEM>: Born not of this Earth, but belonging to it. They exist nowhere else, solely coming to exist within this Cluster. They have nothing, are nothing, until we give them the spark of life. Mold the Golem as you wish Dreamers, give them life. Give them meaning and purpose. For that is the fate of any Golem, to be created, controlled, and used. But this Golem will not be alone, for it will raise many just like itself and more. (Character creation vote)

<STATEMENT/INFORMATION.POSSIBILITIES-CHOICES>
Only a few more choices to go, Dreamers and you will see more of what you seek. What gives your previous choice their powers. What feeds them information, allows them to create.

[X] <The Believer> <The Researcher>: Twin Entities long since having outgrown their own race's ambitions, now traveling across an uncountable amount of dimensions. They find themselves in this quest for a Narrative from the Dreamers, so they stream information directly to the chosen Host. (Keeps Entities in the Story, directly communicating with the Voters)

[X] <SYNDICATE CREATION>: A Shard designed for the creation of groups to foster conflict. It will connect to a Host and begin to give them information on their power. For all intents and purposes the Host will be a parahuman (An additional vote will be had to determine if the Shard communicates with the Host)

<STATEMENT.POWERS/POSSIBILITIES-CHOICES>
The power given will be the same for each of the previous choices, but here is where you Dreamers may tailor it to your own personal tastes. Take head, this choice is perhaps the most important of all of the ones you see/read/hear from us. Once chosen this is the power the Host will receive and use, taking examples from the many races we have encountered in our exploration of the Clusters.

[X] <Pardi>: An all female race, designed and created for war once upon a time. Their bodies are highly adaptive to their conscious needs and the environment. Militant, yet diplomatic, the Pardi built their influence through either method readily. Their society is one of a balanced Caste system, each Caste strengthening their society with their given duties. Logica, Mechinor, Sola Militis, and the Umbra make up their Castes

[X] <Drakken>: A splinter from the Pardi, the Drakken have modified their bodies to no longer adapt like the Pardi's but now they have greater strength and resistance to damage. Their Caste system is more equal and all carry a tinge of Warfare to them. Being slightly less disciplined than the Pardi they resemble a skilled mercenary outfit more than an army. Aesum, Argenti, Aurum, and the Ater make up their Castes

[X] <Yelkas>: A nation of clones and hybrids. Built upon the application of modular weapons and artillery. Isolationist they kept to themselves, perfecting their cloning machines and creating sentient hybrids of man and fauna. Highly disciplined, the Yelkas saw sentience and the elevation of such a noble goal. While not moral crusaders, no citizen of Yelkas ever accepted the grace or presence of any slaver.

[X] <Lunri>: A living metal plague, linked almost akin to a hivemind. The Lunri used biomechanical technology to spread themselves across stars to infect life on a galaxy wide level. After burning out their home galaxy they were trapped. A problem that could not be solved by infecting it required intelligence. So they changed. They learned, became intelligent and forced themselves into hibernation across the galaxy to await the day that life returned to the galaxy.

[X] <Kazimarrow>: A true hivemind, each caste of society working together seamlessly for the betterment of the hive. They use no technology of their own, rather creating and adapting 'sleeves'. Bodies designed for a task or environment that each mind can attach to the Flesh that covers their hive and swap between. Curious of other races, the Exist-yet-Silent, the Kazimarrow are territorial but willing to allow other beings in their land...provided that the races can withstand the terraforming that the Kazimarrow perform within their hive's tunnels

<QUERY>
What is the future you wish to see, Dreamers?

Age of Copper 1.1

Age of Copper 1.1

Taylor Hebert, June 12th of 2006

It was a bright sunny day, birds sang and insects chirped. It was not raining, or even overcast. But it may as well have been from the colors of everyone dressed at the funeral, the only color being the truly massive amount of flowers piled around the two coffins being lowered into the ground and her best friend's stark red hair almost hidden by a large brimmed hat the same color as the clothes she wore.

Taylor sat in her wheelchair, feeling numb and below the waist feeling nothing. The doctors had told her that she would be lucky to ever walk again without parahuman healing, and since parahuman healers were in such a short amount and she was just some lower middle class girl…

She would likely never walk again in her life.

She had cried upon hearing that, broke down sobbing soon after when she was told her parents had died in the car crash that took her legs. It took her three weeks to get strong enough to leave the hospital. Just in time to attend the funeral.

Taylor hadn't cried since the news, still wasn't even now as she watched her dad's friends take turns shoveling dirt onto the coffins. Maybe she had run out of tears, having cried them all away. She wished she hadn't done so, Mom and Dad deserved tears. Kurt and Lacey both stood next to her, deeming her more important than helping bury her parents.

Lacey was stone, face dark as she watched her two friends be put to rest. Kurt had tears streaming down his face, collecting on his chin and dropping to the trampled grass under him. "Goodbye Danny." Came a choked whisper from Kurt "Goodbye Annette."

She felt numb all the way home, to the empty house. Felt numb when she entered the quiet creaking house. It was only when she couldn't get up the stairs to her room without help from Uncle Alan that she broke down and cried again.

It was when she saw her parent's door open, their bed empty and neatly made on one side and slightly sloppily made on the other that she blanked for several seconds and saw two spiraling beings swimming through space, one of a ruby red flesh and the other a cool icy blue crystal.

<OBSERVATION> R
Well, that's depressing.

<WORRY/QUERY> B
I do hope our [SYNDICATE CREATION] isn't struggling in the Cluster we left it in. Is the situation exactly the same there?

<ANSWER> R
Yes it is, and it's likely being lazy considering it's attitude since we received Negentropy from the Kindred Lower Government

<CHASTISEMENT/STATEMENT.QUERY.OPTIONS> B
None of that! They do a good job when given an assigned task. Now, she seems to be in quite a sad state, how will we reach out to her? Voices? Bringing our Avatars to her? Maybe we can take the form of her parents?

<DENIAL/SUGGESTION> R
Most of my Socialite class Shards are telling me that would be considered a major faux pas. Perhaps we should ask the Dreamers since this is their Narrative, I'm sure they'd like the choice in this matter.

<EMBARRASSMENT/SUGGESTION.QUERY> B
Ah! Yes. Of Course. That's why we're here. Perhaps we should help the little girl out with her first Lunri Parasite? Something to give her a boost since she's been saddled with two S-Class threats rolled into one?

<AGREEMENT.CHOICES-LUNRI> R
That sounds like a fairly good idea Divergent. We have a selection for the Dreamers to choose from. A Hivelord, A Broodmother, and a Synaptic Cell

<WONDER> B
Interacting with the Dreamers is so fun, being unable to map or even model them makes every Choice so tantalizing.

<AGREEMENT.AMUSEMENT> R
Yes it does have a certain flair to the interaction. Perhaps not so for the Dreamer dreaming of and transcribing us.

<CONFIDENCE/STATEMENT> B
I am sure that the Dreamers enjoy dreaming as much as they enjoy taking part in a Narrative, lest we would never have come to be. Now, let us stop distracting them and let them choose.

Gains this Chapter:

A Trigger Event
Two Friends-ish

How Shall <The Researcher> and <The Believer> interact with Taylor Hebert?:

[] <Avatars>: Bring the two Entities further into the story with Avatars akin to Eden and Zion and both with their own 'Human Emulation' software! Maybe they can give Taylor a hug?

[] <Voices>: As they are right now, except Taylor can hear them, maybe they can just offer encouragement to the girl?

[] <Absence>: They do not interact with her at all, remaining as they are now. Distant and observing.

What is the first Lunri Parasite that Taylor will create with the help of <The Researcher> and <The Believer>?:

[] <Hivelord>: A Large and physically imposing form, the Hivelord is better at fighting than others but is more aggressive as a result.

[] <Broodmother>: A large form that's actually very motherly, if you are a Lunri. Less aggressive but able to produce the basic parasite the Broodmother builds forces far more rapidly than others.

[] <Synaptic Cell>: Not so large, not so imposing, this form is more humanoid. Neither aggressive nor defensive the Synaptic Cell is for soothing the carnal urges of it's Kin, allowing them to become more intelligent and ensuring some loyalty to the one who spawned it.

A/N: Yeah, <The Researcher> is the red one and <The Believer> is the blue one. Consider this a mere starter chapter.

They feel too much like ROBs to me, and after a lot of trashy isekais with ROBs randomly giving OP powers i started to hate that trope, although i am going to keep participating anyways if the other options win, i don't really have a reason against the other options beyond that and that i want her to go Borg/Nilbog but with living metal, which is more probable without the entities communicating with her.

[X] <Synaptic Cell>: Not so large, not so imposing, this form is more humanoid. Neither aggressive nor defensive the Synaptic Cell is for soothing the carnal urges of it's Kin, allowing them to become more intelligent and ensuring some loyalty to the one who spawned it.

The Lunri do not like being controlled or directed by others, but if we have this one ensuring Loyalty to Taylor there is less chance of things goimg wrong for her.

Although i think that this would lead to some scenes that might get KindredVoid banned unless they are on QQ.
