Alright, I need suggestions for magic types for Qrow and Tai to learn.
Ooh that sounds fun. I'll give it a shot.

1. Taiyang Xiao Long's Magic - "Weakening Magic" - it would allow him increase the amount of strength and energy that his opponent needs to utilize their abilities every time he strikes them in melee combat he excels at.

2. Qrow Branwen's Magic - "Shadow Magic" - it would allow him to manipulate his shadow offensively and defensively, and be flexible with it, which would come in handy to sneak around any places that his small bird form can't just get into.

What do you think?

I plan to use Shadow Magic for Blake. Though canon Weakness magic sounds fun for how I tend to write Tai, so I might use that.
Cool, glad you like it.

Since Shadow Magic is taken for Blake, I will think of something for Qrow. Perhaps, Eye Magic in form of "Heaven's Eye" which would allow Qrow to see over long distances, giving him the ability to see through solid objects, which allows him to track enemies with relative ease.

It would fit Qrow being a tracker/spy for Ozpin in gathering information and tailing after important targets of interest.

Plus he can weaponize it to track his enemy's movements and counter them faster than they attack.

What do you think?

Thanks to ozpin I would argue Qrow has a leg up in take over magic. He only has one form but he could gain more and have more control on how far the change goes.

Playing with Qrow's semblance here, Chance Magic. Given his semblance he can inflict bad luck on his surroundings, so using a magic that causes things to go both right and wrong might actually give him more control over his semblance, which would be a big plus to him. Might minor in Requip, allowing him to carry more supplies and what-not.

Chapter 3
"Hey!" Ruby opened her eyes at Natsu's call. It was later than the guild hall normally had people in it, but tonight, it was full. Sleeping mats had been pulled out and people were lying on them. It seemed like nobody wanted to go home and risk becoming the next Shadow Gears, "has anyone seen Lucy?"

"Who?" Ruby asked in confusion.

"New member of the guild," Erza said, "she joined just after you left. No, I haven't, Natsu."

"Me either," Gray said, crossing his arms over his shirtless chest.

"Lucy! Are you here!?" Natsu called, to a lot of groans but no call of confirmation, "I'm going out to look for her."

"Alright, take care," Ruby said.

It took an hour before he returned, a blonde haired girl with her hair in a side ponytail following behind him.

"They kidnapped her," he said.

"My father…" Lucy said, swallowing, "My father was the one who hired them. This war only started-"

"Don't go blaming yourself," Ruby said, holding up her hand, "Phantom Lord would have attacked eventually no matter what. They've hated us for years. Did you get any other information while they had you?"

"No, sorry," Lucy said.

"It's fine," Ruby said, "I'm-"

"Ruby Rose, the Silver Blur. I own some of the outfits in your clothes line," Lucy admitted shyly.

"Don't remind me of that," Ruby groaned, "the things we have to do for money."

"I don't mind seeing you in those dresses," Erza said.

"Oh," Ruby said, blushing.

"You have a clothes line?" Tai asked.

"Female S-Rank Wizards often get asked to endorse a clothes line or do photo shoots," Ruby explained, "I don't like it, but I've done both."

"That's…" Tai said, face twitching, before apparently deciding to focus on something else, "S-Rank Wizard?"

"S-Ranks are the highest ranked Wizards in a Guild, expected to be able to take on the most dangerous missions. Fairy Tail has five, me, Erza, Mira, Laxus and Gildarts."

Tai stepped out of the building to see Qrow staring up at the night sky. Without turning to look at him, Qrow said, "I don't think we're on Remnant…"

"What?"

"I've been keeping track of the moon. It's unbroken side was facing us when we got here."

"So?"

"So it's been eight days and the broken side isn't even peaking out."

Tai paused, before sighing, "Add on that everyone and their brother uses magic…"

"Yeah. Magic is… Well, I always figured if it was real it was rare. Ruby's some fighter huh?"

Tai didn't answer for a second, thinking back the what he had seen at the Phantom Lord base. Ruby had rushed onto a table, and suddenly there had been beams of black outlined white light punching through everyone on the table. Mirajane had turned into a demon of some sort, the Natsu boy had breathed fire… They all had used things that were undeniably magic.

"What did Ruby call her attacks, the White God's?" Tai finally asked.

"Yes," Tai jumped as Erza stepped out of the hall, "Ruby uses White God Slayer Magic."

"What do you want?" Tai asked, curious on what could have caused her to abandon her post.

"I want to talk about your relationship with Ruby," Erza said, "Ruby has looked for any sign of her home and birth family for ten years. And now you show up, claiming to be her father."

Erza raised her sword so it was pointed at Tai's chest, eyes severe. The same weight from this morning crashed down on him.

"If you're lying, or you hurt her, I won't hesitate to cut you down. Ruby doesn't deserve to be tricked like that. That's why she refuses to open up to you. Prove yourself Taiyang, or I'll personally cut off the relationship."

"I would never hurt Ruby!" Tai said indignantly, "She's my daughter, and even if she doesn't remember me, or her sister, or her mother, having her back in my life is something I will treasure!"

"Hmmp," Erza lowered the sword, "Then you can start by helping us win this war. Because Ruby won't have time to entertain a relationship with you until the guild is safe."

"Isn't it normally the dad who's supposed to threaten the girlfriend?" Tai joked weakly, which luckily got a chuckle from Erza

"Mira and her are the most precious people in my life," a soft smile spreading across her face.

Tai signed, leaning back against the wall, mind spinning. So they might not be on Remnant, that opened more questions on how Ruby got here, and what she had been up to.

"Ruby mentioned a man who was her father?" Tai asked, "What was he like, do you know? What was his name?"

"He went by several, from what Ruby said," Erza answered, "Lugh, Baldr, Aether, Dagr, Light. And as for how he was… I'm not sure it's my place to say, I'm sorry, Taiyang."

"Please," Tai begged, "I need to know what happened to my little girl, I've wondered for the last thirteen years.

Erza's eyes softened, just slightly, and she sighed, "I'll tell you what I know, but I'll warn you, it's not happy."

That caused Tai's heart to throb. Oh, no.

"Ruby was raised as one of ten children," Erza said, "at least, Number Ten survived long enough for Ruby to remember them. Lugh used powerful ancient magic to age Ruby and three others two years. Two of those died to the magic-" Tai jerked at that. Did that mean… Ruby was seventeen instead of fifteen? That made her apparently doing modeling slightly more tolerable, but it opened a whole new slew of problems. She was as old as Yang, "-Then, he opened their second origin, a secondary container for magical energy. I had Ruby open mine, the process was…" Erza closed her eyes, breathing in like she could feel an echo of the pain, "Agonizing, very nearly the most painful thing I have ever experienced, and that was me as a fourteen year old. For children between four and nine… It killed two of them. He then spent three years teaching the survivors White God Slayer Magic. We suspect, given the magic type, he is a god of light in disguise, but we don't know for sure. Over those three years- are you alright?"

Tai could feel himself shaking, staring at Erza through his tears. Ruby had been… She had been tortured? For some mad god's… What? Ambition? Plans? Fucked up experiment? "I- I- how can you talk about it so casually?"

"Perhaps it's because I know what it's like to suffer that much too," Erza said cryptically, before sighing, "Light then spent the next three years whittling down the survivors until there was only one."

"Ruby," Tai said, voice choked with emotion and tears.

"Ruby," Erza agreed, "he finally told her her name and then released her into the world, and she made her way to Fairy Tail when she was, depending on your perceptive, five or seven, about a month before I joined. And she's been here ever since."

Tai felt Qrow pull him into a hug, tears still spilling, "Thank you. Thank you all for being there."

"Of course. May I ask your two's relationship?"

"I'm Tai's brother-in-law," Qrow said.

"So Ruby's mother was your sister?

"No, she's from a second marriage."

"I see. Do you have any proof she's your daughter, anything at all?" Tai reached into his pocket, pulling out his Scroll and pulling up one of his most precious pictures. Ruby, days before her disappearance, in Summer's arms as one chubby fist was in her mouth and the other clutched a plush in the shape of a sword. "That woman is Ruby's mother, I take it?"

"Yes. Summer, she's… She's no longer with us."

Luckily, or unluckily depending on who you asked, the war came knocking the next day, and rather unsubtly at that.

You didn't get less subtle, Qrow thought, than your base turning into a mech and pointing a giant godsdamned gun at your opponent's base. But that was what Phantom Lord had done. Energy built up, swelling and roiling, before blasting at Fairy Tail. Erza rushed forwards, changing into the heaviest armor Qrow had ever seen, and threw up a giant barrier. It was only years of working with junior huntsmen that let Qrow catch Ruby in time to stop her from leaping towards Erza, and even then, it was more that he had started moving before her that did it.

The blast went off, blowing rooftops off of houses around the guildhall and causing the upper half of the hall itself to crumble. Ruby tore her way out of Qrow's arms and to her fallen lover, Mira seconds behind.

"Ruby?" Erza said weakly.

"Don't ever do that again," Ruby snapped, before standing, handing Erza off to the shirtless man, "Happy?"

What? Why was who happy? Why would anyone be happy with what just-"

"Yes?" A blue cat suddenly said.

"Can you get me to that hall before Jupiter fires again? I'm going to go have… words with Jose."

"You can't seriously be thinking about going alone-" Tai started.

"I'll go with her," Qrow said.

"I can't carry two people at once," Happy interjected, to which Qrow took on his Crow form, knowing he was gonna have to talk to Tai about it later.

"He's one of the Ten Wizard Saints," Mirajane protested at the same time, "I know you're strong but-"

"I have to give a stab at it," Ruby said, "Some of you get out of town! Make sure, if this goes badly, this is the last thing Phantom Lord ever does as a legally recognized guild! Sorry for stealing Happy, Natsu, but I gotta do this."

"Come right back for me," Natsu said to Happy, apparently knowing better than to argue with Ruby. Wings sprouted out or Happy's back and they took off towards the Phantom Lord guild hall.

Crazy that Natsu would agree as he's stubborn as hell and will do things way even if it seemed stupid. Being raised by Igneel would make him fierce headed and outspoken would do that.
Perhaps, but he also for the most part knows better than to argue with Erza or Mira, so it likely means the same for Ruby😀

Perhaps, but he also for the most part knows better than to argue with Erza or Mira, so it likely means the same for Ruby😀
That's fair. Plus Ruby asked permission to borrow Happy compared to Sherria who kicked Natsu in the face and stole Happy, lol.

Also I'm more surprised Qrow didn't comment on Phantom Lord's giant robot to remind him of The Colossus from Atlas that was stationed at Argus.

Chapter 4
Totomaru stood guard in front of the lacrima that powered the Jupiter cannon. It was sure to be the first place those damn Fairies tried to attack. A blue cat carrying a familiar woman landed, a black bird following suit seconds later and transforming into a man who drew a great sword off his back.

"I'm guessing we need to destroy that crystal thing?"

"Yeah," Ruby Rose said, eyes glowing.

"I'll take care of the guy and it, you go deal with whatever it was you wanted.

Totomaru fired flames at one of the three Fairy Queens, only for her to flash around it and up the stairs, "Wai-"

Totomaru was forced to draw his katana as the great sword came swinging for him. Blocking the attack, he cast Orange Fire, watching the man recoil from the stench the flames gave off. Taking the infinitive, he stabbed out with his katana, only for the greatsword to deflect it.

He heard a cry of pain behind him and turned to see Aria, the Air of the Element 4 and their leader, crash into the lacrima, a bruise appearing on his neck as the energy coursed through him, causing him to spasm before collapsing to the ground, unconscious.

Totomaru really wished he could say he was surprised by that, but Fairy Tail had stricter qualifications for their S-Ranked wizards than the equivalent at Phantom Lord. It let Phantom get more high paying jobs done quicker, but it meant Fairy Tail had higher quality, which was biting them in the ass during this war.

Totomaru turned his focus back to his fight as the giant sword came down and nearly split him in two. Then it seemed to bend, until a pair of barrels were aimed directly at Totomaru's chest. No way that was a-

A bang went off, and Totomaru joined his teammate spasming on the ground. The man was honorable enough to wait for Totomaru to stand up before swinging the blunt slab of the blade's side for the wizard. Totomaru blocked with one hand, barely, and formed a ball of iridescent fire in the other hand, drilling it into the man's chest… Only for some sort of barrier to absorb the blow. In his shock, Totomaru let his guard slip and was batted across the room into a wall.

The last thing he saw before blacking out was the man hurl his sword like a javelin into the lacrima, breaking it.

Ruby entered Jose's room with tight lips, staring up at the leader of Phantom Lord. He had hooked eyebrows, a fu manchu and black lipstick, wearing a blue noble's outfit.

"So they sent you? What's wrong? Is Makarov feeling under the weather?" he said, smugly. Ruby didn't respond, rushing up the wall and leaping off it and towards him.

"White God's Guillotine!" Jose stopped the attack with one finger covered in sickly purple magical energy, a magical circle at the end of the finger. Ruby grit her teeth and punched at him, "White God's Fist!"

This was stopped just as quickly, and Ruby was thrown back. Landing, she held out her hand, and summoned a White God's Greatsword, lunging around the beam of Darkness Magic to swing it down on Jose's head, only for the Wizard Saint to block it.

"Did you really think that would work?" Jose laughed, "I'm one of the ten strongest wizards in Fiore! You can't hope to beat me alon-"

Jose threw up another circle hurriedly as Qrow came lunging into the room, greatsword clashing with the Wizard Saint's magical shield, "good thing she isn't alone then!"

"Yeah!" Natsu jumped in, flames burning around his first before clashing with another seal. A pulse of energy sent all three flying back, and ghostly shades began to appear around the room. Ruby pulled her leg back and sent out another White God's Guillotine, slashing through the shades as if they were nothing, "And even then, those idiots Gray and Elfman are taking out the other members of your gang of goons!"

"You call them idiots when you challenge me?" Jose laughed, pointing a hand at them as a magical seal appeared, "Dead Wave!"

"White God's Bellow!" The mass of ghosts slammed into Ruby's Bellow, causing an explosion that shook the entire building.

If there was one good thing about a childhood as a slave, it gave you pain tolerance on a level most people couldn't believe. As such, within fifteen minutes of absorbing a shot from the Jupiter cannon, Erza was up and preparing a second counterattack. Having requipped into her Heaven's Wheel armor, Erza had taken to the sky and was flying towards Phantom Lord's Guild Hall as fast as she could, Mira right beside her. As an explosion shook the building, they crested to see Jose standing there with a smug smile on his face, Ruby on one knee, in a familiar pose, "You really are weak-"

"White God's," Ruby's eyes glowed as she looked up, "Barrage."

Two dozen magical seals, one on each side of Ruby, appeared like wings wrapping around Jose, beams of light blasting out of them to hit him in every direction. He staggered, and aimed a beam at Ruby's chest. She struggled her way up as he continued to blast her, "Is that the best you got? I felt worse when I was four. Mira, Erza, now! White God's Scythe!"

Erza rushed in, gripping a sword infused with light magic as she did, Mira following with bared claws. They flew through the broken window as Jose whipped around, creating two barriers to block them… Which left him wide open to Qrow and Natsu's fists crashing into either side of his face one after the other, sending him flying into a wall.

"Did we beat him?" Qrow asked, panting and leaning on his greatsword. As if to answer his question, a burst of magical pressure forced them all to their knees. Jose stood up, leveling a hand at the group.

"Disappear," Before the beam he fired could hit them, another magical presence made itself known. Soft and warm and like home. A barrier appeared in front of them, absorbing the blow. Into the room walked a short old man that caused Erza to heave a sigh of relief.

"Jose," Makarov Dreyer said, "What do you think you're doing to my children?"

And then, there was light.

Chapter 5
Ruby stood in front of the portal with Qrow and Taiyang. With her was a letter of introduction from the Magic Council and King Toma E. Fiore to the people of Vale. She didn't particularly like acting as an imperial messenger, but she got why she had to do it.

They stepped through the portal, immediately shifting from the quant town it was in to a yellow and orange tinted forest. Taiyang fished out the strange device he and Qrow both had and pressed a button on it. Within ten minutes, an equally strange flying machine landed, allowing them to board and flying them to a large, castle-like structure in the distance.

Once they landed, they began making their way through the open plaza, Ruby very aware of the stares sent their way by people her age or slightly older.

"You said this was a school?" Ruby asked.

"Beacon Academy, finest place to train to be a huntsmen in Vale," he nodded.

"Then why's everyone so old?" Ruby asked, "shouldn't they be taking jobs?"

Taiyang and Qrow seemed to share looks, before saying, "We don't treat things like Fairy Tail. You take on a couple of practice jobs, but you can't take them on whenever you want until you graduate. When did you start taking jobs?"

"When I was ten," Ruby said, frowning. That just seemed like a waste of time. Yes, she had to go with older Guild members, but she had got valuable experience on the job.

They entered the tower structured at the center of the building, where Qrow pressed his device against the door. After a moment, it slid open and they all stepped in before it began to rise.

When it opened, it was to a man with gray hair and brown eyes behind glasses and wearing a suit accented by a green scarf, holding a staff, "Qrow, Tai. Welcome back, I was beginning to get worried."

"Yeah, sorry Oz, we got tied up in some stuff while we were through the portal.

"And who is this behind you?"

"Ruby…" Tai said, "my daughter, Ruby."

"Oz"'s brow hitched, and he looked Ruby over, "She does look remarkably like Summer. Though I doubt she would uproot whatever life she had to live with a stranger."

"I'm not," Ruby said, stepping forwards to offer him the letter sealed with the seal of Fiore, "I'm just delivering a message. I guess I'll try to get to know my family, but I have a life back home, and I'm gonna go back to it eventually."

"I see," Oz nodded, "Why don't you start by meeting your sister? Tai, I've sent her team's room number to you, can you bring Ruby?"

"Yeah," Tai said, "come on, Ruby."

Yang was talking about nothing with her partner and the leader of Team BSL, Blake Belladonna, as they approached their room. When they got there, they found the door open, blinking, they opened it wider to see-

"Dad!" Yang cried, rushing forwards to tackle her dad into a hug.

Blake walked in without a sound, saying, "Who are you?"

Yang blinked, her attention drawn off her dad even as he hugged her with all his might, towards the girl with dual colored hair, wearing a red and white cloak, and a gothic lolita dress underneath. Her silver eyes were scanning one of Yang's motorcycle magazines before she glanced up at the question, "Hello… uh… Am I supposed to know you?"

"No," Dad said, "she's not part of the family. Is this your partner, Yang?"

"Yeah, Blake Belladonna," Yang said, noticing her dad frowning at the name, "something wrong?"

"Not my business if it is," Dad shrugged off casually, "Anyways, you know that job I was on?"

"Yeah? Of course I do. I had to bring Zwei to Beacon with me because there was nobody home to take care of him."

"Well, I met her," Dad nodded his head towards the mystery girl, before swallowing, "on the mission. You're… not going to believe it, but… It's your… sister, Yang. It's Ruby, I finally found her."

Yang looked over the girl again. She did look like Summer, kinda, but still the chances were… "Bullshit."

Dad winced and said, "I know it sounds hard to believe but-"

"She's tricking you," Yang said firmly, "She has to be. Ruby's been gone for thirteen years, she isn't going to show up-"

"Why would I trick him?" "Ruby" asked, "I have a life back home. I only came along because I had to deliver a letter and he wanted me to meet you."

Dad looked upset at that, but continued, "She's been… Been on a different world, called Earthland. The job involved a portal leading there… I know it sounds unbelievable.

"That's because it is unbelievable," Yang snapped, breaking free of Dad's arms and throwing a punch at the girl, who dodged it, "You have some reason for tricking Dad, I know it."

"We could always," Blake interjected slowly, like she didn't quite believe what she was hearing either, "do a DNA test."

"...Fine," Yang said, not having any real reason to argue against it, "You and me are gonna fight, then we can get the dumb test done and prove you aren't my sister."

"Yang-" Dad started, "That isn't a good idea-"

Technically, Ruby had to let them swab the inside of her mouth for the 'paternity test', but the moment that was done, her supposed sister and her were in an arena staring down each other, people shuffling into the room. Apparently Yang had built up a reputation at Beacon.

Ruby stretched, staring at her "sister". She didn't look like any of the siblings Ruby knew. This whole thing was just plain weird, Ruby had always pictured her family looking similar to her, not blondes.

A buzz echoed through the room, and Yang rushed forwards, fist drawn back for the most telegraphed punch Ruby had seen this side of Natsu. Easily sidestepping it, Ruby heard a bang come from the gauntlets Yang was wearing. So they had invented guns without magic here?

Yang swung her extended fist back in an attempt to backhand Ruby, who caught it and twisted it away before pushing Yang away from her. Yang turned, firing both guns to speed up and swinging for Ruby's face.

Unfortunately for Yang, she was fighting a wizard that specialized in Light magic. Ruby was out of her way in less than a blink of an eye letting Yang punch air. Yang rushed forwards in, throwing punch after punch at Ruby's head. Ruby bobbed and weaved, afterimages of light trailing in her wake.

"Sit. Still. And. Let. Me. Kick. Your. Ass." Yang growled.

"No," Ruby deadpanned back, "I see why they don't let you on missions."

"What's that supposed to mean!?" Yang snapped.

"All bark and no bite," Ruby said.

"No bite! No Bite! Oh, I'll show you some Bite!" Yang opened up her gauntlets, loading new shells into it before slamming them shut. The shots fired now exploded like fireworks, forcing Ruby to give her a wider berth but otherwise, the fight continued as it had before. Ruby began to rush around Yang, leaving her looking and firing every which way in an attempt to hit her.

"Let me show you what I mean by bite," Ruby said as she rushed in, her foot glowing white as she pulled it back. Swinging it out, she tapped it into Yang's side, sending her crashing through the wall. Yang staggered up, flames rising off her glowing hair.

"You're gonna regret-"

"White God's Fist," Ruby drove a fist of light into Yang's gut from across the room, sending her crashing further into the wall.

"That's enough," Tai said.

"I'm not-" Yang started, climbing out of the rubble.

"Yang, that's enough," Tai said with more emphasis.

Ruby sucked in some light, chewing on it before swallowing to refill her reserves.

"White God Slayer Magic," Ruby said, "it gives you the constitution of a god, so you can kill one. You were never gonna beat me without magic."

Qrow leaned against the wall of Oz's office, Glynda with him. The Councillors were projected on holographic screens on the opposite wall as Ozpin slit open the letter Ruby had delivered. Pulling it out and opening it, a magical seal began to glow, before projecting a short, white haired man wearing a crown and with a pencil thin mustache.

"Hello, if you're watching this, I hope I'm speaking to Headmaster Ozpin and the Council of the Kingdom of Vale. If not, damnit Fairy Tail. I am King Toma E. Fiore, king of the Kingdom of Fiore. I wish to invite you to a meeting on neutral ground, so we may lay the groundwork for a happy and prosperous relationship between our kingdoms. If you accept, and can think of an acceptable location, send a letter back with Miss Ruby Rose of Fairy Tail. Thank you for your time, and goodbye."

The letter flickered out, the Council silent as they thought.

"We need to establish some relationship with this "Fiore"" one said, "especially since the portal doesn't appear to be going anywhere."

"We'll consider it over the next day," Another said, before the screens flickered off.

"So we've found the missing Miss Rose," Ozpin said, "And she is capable of magic?"

"Everyone in the guild she was part of, Fairy Tail was capable of magic," Qrow said, "I got the impression magic wasn't rare there, Oz."

"That is… Concerning…" Ozpin said.

"Different world, different rules, I guess, Oz?" Qrow shrugged, "Tai's in the loop now. By the way. He wasn't very surprised, said it was obvious I was doing something with how often I took time off."

"The question," Glynda said, "is can people from Remnant learn Earthland Magic?

Ruby stood in front of the portal with Qrow and Taiyang.
I wonder if Ruby will wonder who made the portal and why is it still opening than closing. Would Mystogan check if it's probably of Edolas origin since he's the one who closes portals wherever he goes.

"When I was ten," Ruby said, frowning. That just seemed like a waste of time. Yes, she had to go with older Guild members, but she had got valuable experience on the job.
I can imagine the reaction of the older Huntsmen/Huntresses when they hear that guild mages just let youngsters take jobs than study at school.

Although Ruby might think that Remnant's kingdoms having no military except Atlas might be foolish as not all Huntsmen and Huntresses can be everywhere and that they also take jobs like mercenaries without being in a guild.

"She does look remarkably like Summer. Though I doubt she would uproot whatever life she had to live with a stranger."
At least Taiyang would be okay that his daughter is alive and thriving.

Yang was talking about nothing with her partner and the leader of Team BSL, Blake Belladonna
Why are there three members? Shouldn't there be a fourth one? Where did Weiss Schnee go?

"All bark and no bite," Ruby said.

"No bite! No Bite! Oh, I'll show you some Bite!" Yang opened up her gauntlets, loading new shells into it before slamming them shut.
Unfortunately for Yang, Ruby has experience with hotheaded people who uses the power of fire aka Natsu Dragneel.

"White God Slayer Magic," Ruby said, "it gives you the constitution of a god, so you can kill one. You were never gonna beat me without magic."
For some reason, I imagine Cinder Fall overhearing this in the background and find God Slayer Magic interesting. Imagining that if she had such magic plus the full Fall Maiden power, she'd be able to usurp Salem and become the dominator of Remnant.

The letter flickered out, the Council silent as they thought.

"We need to establish some relationship with this "Fiore"" one said, "especially since the portal doesn't appear to be going anywhere."

"We'll consider it over the next day," Another said, before the screens flickered off.
The Vale Council are gonna bring in General Ironwood right? I mean they're the ones who allowed him to be in charge of security during the Vytal Festival which we know it never ended well.

"That is… Concerning…" Ozpin said.
Especially when Salem will hear of this Earth Land and would assume that it might be made by the Brother Gods as their new world after abandoning Remnant.

"The question," Glynda said, "is can people from Remnant learn Earthland Magic?
Ozpin would be interested about that and it sucks that there isn't much canon lore about how Aura and Semblance came to existence after magic was taken away by the Brother God of Darkness.

Perhaps Oz in one of his many incarnations tried to bring back magic by awakening the soul only to have Aura and Semblance instead. Which he just shrug and say, "Close enough." And the rest is history.

Dammit Yang😅😮‍💨
Also third team member still Weiss?
Yeah. BSL "Belladonna, Schnee, Long"

Why are there three members? Shouldn't there be a fourth one? Where did Weiss Schnee go?
There just was an uneven number of students that year without Ruby, so they're a three man team. Weiss is the third member, it just uses it's last name to get BSL.
Especially when Salem will hear of this Earth Land and would assume that it might be made by the Brother Gods as their new world after abandoning Remnant.
Not entirely wrong. Ruby's "Father" is the god of Light.

The Vale Council are gonna bring in General Ironwood right? I mean they're the ones who allowed him to be in charge of security during the Vytal Festival which we know it never ended well
They only did that due to Ironwood manipulating events in the waie of the Breach, which made Ozpin look weak. They have no reason to bring him into what is a political matter for their nation.
