At least the soundtrack will be good, maybe we'll get an 80's version of Diana's already kickass theme. Little eh on the whole Steve Trevor returning bit, but Oberyn Martell, The Mandalorian Pedro Pascale as the villain should be interesting, I wonder if the true baddie will be one of the Greek Pantheon (our old buddy Hades did have money as one of his domains) or maybe one of Darkseid's lot?

That is one hell of a fun trailer. It seems like a lot of cues have been taken from Thor: Ragnarok, not that I'm complaining.

Nice to see the tiara getting some use.

Using Blue Monday is cheating you bastards.

I'm pretty hyped, which is weird, as I am not a huge comic book film lad

Honestly, I think we're all just sick of the 80s from overexposure and waiting for Stranger Things to end so we can move on to being bombarded with endless 90s nostalgia.

Is that Maxwell Lord or Donald Trump? That looks like Diana in the White House fighting Secret Service and according to the leaks, there will be a literal magical borderwall at one point.

Already getting worried what they'll do with Cheetah, dreading some CGI abomintion with Wiig's face awkwardly glued on like a character from the new Cats movie.

I kinda hate this? Partly because the 80s retro stuff feels really played out to me, partly because I'm not a fan of bringing back Trevor, but primarily because my interest in Wonder Woman is directly proportional to the amount of Greco-Roman mythology stuff that's present. I want to see her kicking minotaurs through cars and bisecting gorgons, not fighting generic mooks in a mall.

Probably gonna skip this.

It's be quite the bit of Mind-fuckery given how present he seems to be in the action scenes. I like the idea of it's a Wish with a price to be paid later.
Could be a version of the Duke of Deception. His comic version has the habit of using his illusions to disguise himself as someone else, and trolling Diana by taking on Steve's form seems like it'd fit his personality.

They fucking cheated by using Blue Monday, but Diana lassoing lightning bolts, Pedro Pascal playing Donald Trump in a shitty infomercial, and Chris Pine having chemistry with a trash can?

Sold.

I'll put up with it because this film looks amazing, but after WW1984 comes out can we please declare the 80s done and move on?

It'll be hilarious if this film establishes that death in the DCEU works like the Greek afterlife and you can come back to life via multiple methods.

I'm not really big on superhero stuff, but this looks like it'll be fun as hell.

One: 80's period piece. I'm not remotely tired of the '80s as a setting. I watched The Americans earlier this year, and GLOW this summer and I'm ready for more! That WB and DC logo? Love it!

Two: The trailer doesn't give away the movie. What's it about? Wonder Woman in 1984. Steve is back for some reason which I'm sure will make sense in context, but there's virtually zero plot stuff. We see setting, we see some characters, we see some action...that's it. It just evokes a mood.

Three: The chief tool for evoking mood is the song, which...I'm not sure I'd heard before. I looked up the original song, and I really REALLY like how they did it for the trailer. Love the mix of the original and orchestral version, love how they cut it all together to sync perfectly. Really made for a dynamite trailer.
