During the initial days within the ruins, surrounded by those who had pledged their allegiance to you, you found yourself using the holo-com more than desired. Like any native, you knew Florizel's history, but your knowledge was deeper due to your research on potential defenses. Suddenly, your second-in-command approached with dire news: six rebels had succumbed to heatstroke while laboring in the ruin's oppressive conditions, exacerbated by the lack of ventilation and air conditioning. The external heat and internal humidity were taking their toll, and to make matters worse, there was a shortage of water and food. It was only then that you noticed your own hunger and thirst. Inquiring about supplies from Lee, you realized the gravity of your plight. Without sustenance, death loomed over you and your followers, and with the capital under martial law, acquiring supplies was impossible. Your rebellion seemed doomed from the moment you left the city. In that moment, numbness overtook you, the fear and horror of facing execution only to perish in some forsaken Jedi ruins.

maso class light cargo hauler full of humanitarian supplies.
There was a commotion outside; your sentry claimed that a large metal object had appeared out of nowhere. Horrified, you waited for blaster fire. Was death by blaster bolt preferable to exposure, after all?
You waited for your guard to announce the visitors. In those few minutes, Lee rallied the troops in defense. You observed the earthbenders constructing barricades from the ornate flooring, while the regulars held wooden constructs... bows, you presumed. From what world did these people hail to wield such archaic weapons?
The earthbenders and everyone else turned to you, expecting commands, but you remained silent. Observing your pallor, Lee instructed one of his benders to scout the area. After a few minutes, the bender returned, reporting no signs of blaster fire or casualties, only a large metal object. A regular claimed it looked like an old Fire Nation steamship, which was perplexing since Florizel had no oceans; water was transported by cargo ships for melting or imported from other planets. Overcoming your fear, you took a peek yourself and saw what appeared to be a transport ship.
You motioned for your men to follow as you delved deeper. It was indeed a transport ship, but its contents were unknown to you. Searching the bay area for a way to open the bay doors, you found a biolock and impulsively pressed your hand against it. To your surprise, the bay hatch began to lower. As the door opened, you saw the Aurebesh words for food, water, blankets, and beds—an aid package, inside a ship that responded to your DNA.
Something was amiss. It was not ordinary to go from an execution to finding a friendly rebel cell that obeyed your commands, discover an ancient Jedi ruin, and receive aid from a ship that only responded to you. What was happening?
"Sir, what is all this?" Lee inquired, gazing at the crates, unable to decipher Aurebesh. You realized it was up to you to explain the supplies: food, blankets, water, beds, tents. pointing at each one subsequently.
He looked confused for a moment longer before his grin reappeared. "Alright, boys, the boss got us some grub. Get your butts in here and start hauling!"
There was a cheer as the crates were grabbed and hauled away by four people to a single crate. You glanced over to see a grav sled completely ignored. You realized you would have to teach your men how to do things properly... just as soon as you figured out how to turn the grav sled on.
After grueling hours of hauling and setting up, which would have taken minutes had you figured out how to operate the sled, you realized your men were happier.
Happy not to sleep on the floor, happy not to die of exposure, happy to have medicine of which they were totally ignorant, and lastly, happy to have food and water. It took them a few minutes to figure out how the packaged meals worked before they realized a fire was almost pointless, except for warming up water.
you were happy too glad that you could in fact do this lead these men to victory!
... which led to you returning to the question of how? you and your men were going to die if these supplies weren't found what's odder is the corser of the past few days friendly rebels don't appear out of nowhere a jedi ruin is something you never expected to find and you most certainly never called for a ship to drop off aid packages you couldn't afford that if you were 100 years old.
was your need all you required? maybe you'll figure this out someday but for now the real work begins.

Over the month, several targets and potential allies were identified. It appears that oppressive governance leads to discontent; the old methods of control are still in use. A protest is brewing against the suppression of the previous uprising and the execution of peers by their own families, as well as the miner unions' outcry over excessive working hours.
If this protest mirrors your own, it's likely that the leaders will be detained, or the protesters will face the infantry and the latest MZ-4 assault tanks in the streets. This is speculation, but given your near-miss with gunfire, it's not unfounded.
Regarding the enemy's military capabilities, the local security forces on Florizel are relatively well-trained to counter pirates and safeguard the major cities. Outlying settlements, particularly those with vaporator farms, are expected to be protected by local militias, supported by security forces. The primary concern is the abrupt transition from tracked farm vehicles to tanks.
The MZ-4 assault tank, being tracked rather than hover-based, is more affordable and can carry heavier armor. Although the MZ-4 lacks shields, its robust armor provides substantial defense. Equipped with a pair of light lasers, it excels in anti-infantry roles. produced here on florizel.
Florizel boasts ten major settlements, each governed by a member of the ruling council, along with several hundred vaporator farms. The mines are bustling with hundreds of citizens and thousands of droids, forming the economic backbone of the planet. The exact number of soldiers in the security forces remains unknown, but given the impact of previous pirate raids, it is substantial. With an estimated local population of 256,000, it can be assumed that there are currently between 5,000 to 10,000 active members of the Planetary Security Forces (PSF) and an unknown number of militias.

While you were identifying targets and allies, you issued Lee a straightforward command to assimilate into Florizel society: learn the language, grasp the mathematics, and don the garments provided on the ship to blend in as proper citizens.
Once everything was settled, you uncovered a critical fact about your current forces.
They are complete Luddites, more ignorant than you could have ever imagined, and what's worse, they staunchly resist any improvement!
Traits acquired for Lee's regiment: slow, misguided warriors.
