[X] Calypso - (Taking some liberties and going a bit more Pirates of the Caribbean with her.) Being scorned by Odysseus due to the beckoning of Zeus, Calypso made it her mission to render the seas as unsafe as possible for all of mortal kind so that no man nor woman would ever find her in such a way again. This lead to her reaching out to other sea Gods, and creating you as well as other threats.

[X] Poseidon - Zeus informed his brother that the people of Atlantis and their mermaid friends have turned against him and the other Gods of the sea, and thus Poseidon made council with the other deities, and thusly, you were created.

[X] Biblical- (taking a bit of liberties here, not sure if the time frame is right but here we go!) since time began spirits courtred in the heavens, but now they turned to the world made by a great command and were given lands to rule...nowdays the mortals have risen in evil and the island of Atlantis not only openly mocks the spirits above and below but profaned creation. This cannot be allowed to stand.
