Really in the mood for ribs.
You wake up to the sound of birdsong and nature while lying down on the leaves, twigs, and grass of the mountainous countryside that you see all around you.
Which might be somewhat concerning as even if you did live in such environs, you're pretty sure you went to sleep inside a house or apartment. To make things more concerning, you are with several other people who are also waking up.
And in your pocket is a crumpled note:
Save her. Save Maria Kristov. Dr. Romanov knows...
This is a Choose Your Own Adventure RP, minimum of two players, max of eight. Each player is an SI into a setting that is mostly-original, with just one or two crossovers. This is a free roaming, open-world RP where as much as possible, your actions will have consequences somewhere. To win the game is simple; save Maria Kristov. Getting there? That might be a bit harder than it seems.
This game is played with a D20. No stats, just modifiers. Combat is reliant on write-ins; you have to tell me how you shoot or stab people, at the very least telling me where you are shooting as well as who/what you are shooting at.
To participate, simply provide the following:
Forum ID: Your forum name on SV, duh.
A basic description: I'm not asking for a selfie, just give details like eye colour, hair colour, and gender. It's not like I can verify it anyway.![Stick Out Tongue :p :p](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Your RL Skills: Exactly what is says. Any skills you picked up in real life. Can you shoot? Can you drive? Can you pilot?
What you would bring in an emergency: Maybe you have a Go-Bag in case of a natural or unnatural disaster, or maybe you just have a few items you always take with you or have within easy reach, just in case. Be reasonable about this; I can believe having a machete in case of zombies, but an anti-tank rifle is a bit much. If you do have a weapon or weapons with you, you start with them and 15 rounds of loose ammo for each.
To this, add the following:
Health: You start 100 Health.
Condition Tracker: This starts empty, but expect injuries, hunger, thirst and disease to go here when assigned.
Sanity: This starts at 100. We both know that eventually, you're gonna encounter or do some pretty twisted stuff, and that's gonna wear you down.
Inventory: You can carry 10 points items by yourself, with any Go-Bags or backpacks storing an additional 20 items. Tiny Items like ammo take up 0 points, small items like a pistol take up 1 point, and larger items like a rifle take up 5 or more. Really big items like a fifty-caliber machinegun may have to be divided up between players just to carry comfortably.
After that, roll 1d20. This will give you a random Talent.
