What name could I call the procedure of melding different alien brains together?

I'm writing a story about a scientist in Star Wars and I have chosen the project he is working on. He's growing in a lab, a brain made with cells and grey matter from different alien species (Human, Columi, Gree, Cathar etc). Basically melding brains together in a kind of Frankensteinian procedure with the goal of creating a functioning hybrid brain.

What could I call this procedure?
 
The adjective to describe an organism with DNA from multiple species is 'transgenic'; I think the noun would be transgenesis.
Maybe 'Transgenic neural architecture' or 'neural transgenesis' for the brain itself. (It's been 10 years since I last did any biology, so maybe get some confirmation from someone else)

Synthetic neurological chimerism.

A chimera in real life biology is a creature with cells of mixed genotypes, including those with cells from more than one species.
 
I presume the scientist in question will want to publish the results eventually. So either Stacking or Thoughts Plus, which are plain and boring. Perfect for avoiding outrage.

Promethonomical Neuroculturescaping

Prometheus from the Frankenstein connection (modern Prometheus)
Nomical for naming and numbering.
Neuro for neuroscience.
Culture for the cells.
Scaping from landscaping.

Sprinkle lightly with appropriate buzzwords or pseudo terminology and issue to editor for cutting.
