From Eons long forgotten, from times long banished into the dust of myth, my people have held onto the most sacred of oaths to never interfere into the affairs of others, to forever remain in the shadows and observe...
So have I done, from time immemorial I have watched civilizations rise and fall...I have seen the promise of life and the tragedy of death...I have seen the embers of what could have been, and the roaring fires of what was...Yet never have I broken my Oath, never have I felt the need to interfere in the lives and tragedies that all people are destined to go through...
Until that day long ago.
When I could no longer stand on the sidelines...when for the first time I made myself known to the people of a small planet. Insignificant perhaps to the eyes of many...yet to me...
...I did not regret it...
And my mission remained...
I watched the planet which now fascinated me, with its colorful people and odd tendency to meddle into the established status quo of the Universe. I saw its heights and lows, their capacity for greatness and villainy. I saw men crumble from the expectations placed on them, and I saw them rise again and again from disasters that would humble them...
And one day, I saw something different...Something that was and wasn't at the same Time...
For through our consciousness, my people see not only what is and was, but what could be, and what I saw fascinated me.
For there are worlds beyond even those which exist in this reality and the next... Worlds not of energy and matter, but of thought and mind...There are more realities than there are grains of sand in the universe. With each reality, there are different truths, different falsehoods.
Inspired through the mind of those beyond, a new universe was born. One with heroes, villains, all similar to those before, and yet so different as well. Adventures and relationships changed, new lessons were learned, and friendships were forged and broken.
And then nothing. For long I feared that this universe would end, that the adventures seen would fade into the ether from where they sprung.
For so it has ever been in the universe. Every ending brings forth a new beginning -- Each beginning must have its end.

A.N: What's up y'all? This is Overmind; you may remember me from such Quests like Doctor in the TARDIS, and its exciting sequel Doctor in the TARDIS: The Peter Falk Era. Well, I have mentioned before how the former MCU quest back at SV, "There Was An Idea" by Charcolt was one of my inspirations to begin questing. I have always felt it was a shame that such an idea was never picked up again, but after seeing others like @TruckOnEmptyRoad create a quest like Age of Marvelous Mutants (Which I cannot recommend enough. Go watch it and participate!) I have felt inspired to take it upon myself to either continue where it left off, or to start over, this time with different ideas.
Consider this as a way to gauge interest for said quest, for you to discuss until I decide to start it, ask me any questions you may have, and to also let me know which you would prefer. Once a certain amount of time has passed I'll post it in a different thread.

I don't mind if the Quest goes either way IMO. I'm just glad it's continuing. And under competent leadership as well.

The Avengers may not be as popular as Spider-Man or The X-Men right now, but the name still holds quite a bit of regard among superhero fans. Again, not as much as Spider-Man or the X-Men. But there's something to be said for not fixing what's not broken. I think we should take it easy on original ideas until after the Avengers. Phil, JARVIS, Selvig, Darcy, fine. But I don't want to be looking at an OC movie until at LEAST Phase Three. Coulson was awesome and the best they could do was give him a TV show.

While I am just happy to have more of this I am going to give a brief argument in favor of the rebirth choice. The original quest was frankly amazing since it has stopped I have wanted nothing more then a little more of it. If we do rebirth was are starting somewhere great and can do so much compared to starting over where we would have to build up all over again and retread old group.
I will be happy with just about anything more at this point but this is absolutely what I think it the better option.

I'm elated to see this being picked up! I adored the original quest very much when I read through it. That and these kind of quests are among my favorite types to see.

Didn't participate in the original one but saw that it went into interesting places, liked the Doctor Who quest despite my disinterest in Doctor Who, so I am quite curious as to where this entire quest will go to.
