"You're welcome to," he says. His facial hair twitches in a way that suggests a smile underneath. "I'd normally find a spot for you in the shieldwall, but it seems traditional tactics don't work that well with this many rune-weapons. So we're just going to mob up, charge at anything green or furry, and when it comes time to write the songs they'll sing of this day, we lie like hell."

"We're gonna be lying a lot about today..."

[X] The Chiselwards below.

Onwards!

You've only seen two of the eight potential battlegrounds of Karag Lhune, so don't plan the victory feast just yet.

True enough, which is why I'm going "Now it's time to capitalize on our momentum, when the two biggest expected chokepoints charging in crumpled like a wet paper bag", leaving the Clan Angrund force almost entirely ready for further battle if we need to deploy a reserve" Chiselworks look like it's going to be a hell of urban fighting, which is why I'm inclined to send Mathilde there to help raise some hell.

Although it looks like we're certainly not out of hot water yet.

Time for the enemy to unleah worms or something.
Yeah, which is what I was trying and failing to get at lol.

Anyway, the Chiselwards being an urban hellhole are well. Probably a hellhole where Goblins and Skaven and all manner of surprises might pop out. Like those slave Orcs which were strangely not present.

Also we're not exactly sure what happened to the remnants of Broken Toof, which is I guess a possible complication just kinda floating around. What does the thread thing about that possibility?

Crooked Moon might be a little bit broken right now, but the Skaven are still a serious issue. As well as All the other Orks kicking around the Eight Peaks.

This place is filled with greenskins, Skaven, and Nameless Horrors of the Deep. Just because we managed to basically pull a Dwarven Ranger Captain and geek the Crooked Moon Warboss, doesn't mean the fightings over.

It Does mean that Baragor is probably experiencing a bit of brain lock at how ridiculously easy this was.

Don't worry Dwarf bro, this was the result of ridiculous rolls by an NPC character with ridiculous stars! It gets harder from here!

...

Now I wanna see a Negaverse update from Belagor's viewpoint, about how epic this fight would be and how very, very scared the Negaverse players are at how stupidly easy this is becoming.

Well, that was delightful to read :).

As nice as it might be to hang out with Belegar, I think we can achieve a lot if we go down to

[x] The Chiselwards below.

That said, Andres110 has raised a good point imo. @BoneyM how is Mat's energy/stamina doing?

I'm guessing she's not physically tired because of her armour spell, but mentally how is she doing? I'm guessing that she had time to recover while marching and that most recent battle?

[] The Chiselwards below.

The reasoning is fair ooor actually nevermind gonna sit for a bit, look at the arguments.

We handed the dwarves 2 very important things though.
A solid and easily taken base of operations, along with the Artillery Positions to best defend the base from aerial and overland assaults.

Now we just hope the rest of the takeover goes as smooth as ours went.

[ ] The Highways, where Karag Lhune joins the rest of the Karak.

I'm going to make an argument for this.

We know that Karag Lhune is possibly weak from underground attacks, given
"The second possible approach, we take the King's Gates, on Karag Lhune. It is defensible from surface attacks, though it may be vulnerable to attacks from below.
Which makes me think that securing this zone will be a priority. We need a strong foothold down there to ward off and defend the almost guaranteed counterattack. With the presence of Skaven in the Karag, I find it more likely that they will be down in this area and will not nearly be as disorganized from the decapitation of the Crooked Moon Boss. Our ability to induce terror may be instrumental in forcing the skaven to flee from this location and give our troops enough time to set up appropriate locations.

Either an army of warp stone enhanced orks or warp stone enhanced dragon.

I don't like either possibility, but they're the most likely possibilities I see.

Best case if unlikely we run into the orks taking advantage of the situation to go for a revolution and we can take advantage of that to murderator them.

So I've heard it mentioned in here and had an idea, but not being that familiar with the Tabletop what is an Earthing Rod? Is it just a rod of specially made iron meant to ground miscast energies into the world instead of the caster?

@BoneyM So, Boney, what's happened to our reputation now that we just walked into a Peak, did our thing, and turned the ensuing reconquest into a cake-walk?

[X] The Highways, where Karag Lhune joins the rest of the Karak.

Definitely the most important thing to capture. This is going to be the main avenue for enemy reinforcements, so this is the biggest thing we need to take.

[X] Kragg and his Unsealing.

Well we did everything that could be expected from us three times over and right now I am much more interested in the unique oportunity of watching Kragg work than rushing to arrive late on another battle that probably won't amount to much after the whole comand structure of the enemy turned on itself.
