[X] Doppelganger to look like one of the armored Skaven, then try and assassinate the Goblin Leader. Be seen as a Skaven assassin, then flee into the shadows.

Those aren't bad concerns, but I can't tell you. It depends on how well dopelganger works. It might turn our greatsword to look like a halberd, like the one the Skaven has. Since we have WOG that Mat knows what a Skaven gun looks like, she may be able to make the gun look skaven as well. I don't know, it depends of just how the spell works ,and how much control Mat has over it.

Would shooting out the supports likely collapse the platform?
First make the assassination attempt shot, then empty the rest of the cylinder into the supports?

@BoneyM what else is missing for us to figure out in order to enact a "[] Collapse the structure into the Orc pit" plan?

Like, can we vote for that single line and have Mathilde figure it out? Can we add suggestions such as "use a crane to smash into the supports" or "substance of shadow one of the supports"?

Orks build sloppy but sturdy, in its own way.

Else, Orks captured in the pen would have crushed their way out of the hole already.

Also, can we use our magnifying spell as a scope, if we go for the assassination?

Damn, having a magically silent gun would be highly useful now.

K / Substance of Shadow: A single person or item that falls within a shadow becomes invisible, silent, and insubstantial, though they can selective choose to physically affect the world. Lasts until the item or character is illuminated.

[X] Collapse the structure into the Orc pit using Pall of Darkness on the bonfire and Substance of Shadow on supports

Assassinating both leaders at once. Bonus points if Orks can use the platform as a ramp to climb out of the pit.

As a second option for approval voting:
[X] Try to sow discord between Goblin and Skaven leaders with mind-altering spells (Bewilder, Eye of the Beholder).

This doesn't work. Objects that are effecting things keep effecting things when they're turned intangible.
BoneyM has explicitly said that it does work in this case:
Re: Substance of Shadow - it's a finicky spell. On a properly-made structure, it wouldn't work because it would continue the physical affect it was already having on what it was holding up. But the platform creaks and shifts with every gesture the two atop it make, which would interrupt that continual physical affect and cause the support to fall away.

I can easily see this working out extremely well.

Mathilde walks in under Doppelganger and Take No Heed as just another unimportant skaven. She takes aim at the goblin leader and keeps a spell prepared at the top of her mind. Then crack, the shot rings out and the goblin leader's head explodes. The mysterious skaven (Mathilde) runs off and drops down a pall of darkness while firing the rest of her shots randomly into where she remembers the largest groups were. The room flies into chaos skaven and night goblins running in fear, others going mad and stabbing the closest thing they see, some probably take advantage of the chaos to achieve their own treacherous agendas and everyone is dying and screaming.

The goblins with their leader seriously injured or dead now proceed to fight over the position of leader that they know should be theirs, any coherent plan to defend against the dwarfs is ruined as the goblins fight over who should be boss. The Skaven are wondering which of their treacherous rivals performed this act of sabotage to ruin their brilliant plans. Mathilde drinks some dwarf ale.

If you want to collapse the structure into the Orc pit, then write in an action or actions on Mathilde's part that would lead to that happening. If you're not sure if the plan you have in mind will succeed, discuss it with the thread. If after discussing the matter you don't think there's a reliable enough method, choose a different goal.

If you have questions about the layout of the room, or the exact mechanics of a finicky spell, that's one thing. But asking me to write your plans for you, or just writing in a goal and leaving me to figure out the means, rather defeats the purpose of the format.

No, you've no way to affix the lenses to your gun, and no experience with zeroing in the lens to be accurate. This could be pursued as an enchanting project at a later date, though.

[X] You've scouted this area, now...
-[X] To the Chiselwards, an enormous warren of tunnels that could house any number of horrors.

I rather not kill here, I think the Skaven could have bought their army and those missing pets to the Chiselwards, better to alert our army to any nasty surprises in there.
Tell me why would a Skaven leader come to a Night Goblin fortress for negotiation with a such low amount of guards considering their nature and his importance?
We might even find a Eshin Assassin lurking nearby keeping watch for him.

I doubt this is going to work, at the least the Skaven leader seems to be a magic user, going by the crackling of warp lightning all over him. I suspect most of our shadow magic will be much more obvious to someone who can see the winds of magic in the real world.

The Skaven doesn't have magic. The warp disturbance is coming from the warpstone on the goblin.

Would recreating the skavens fear musk with Ulgu be viable?

.. Or preserve skaven glands?

As a future tactic.
