A bathroom, which used a combination of petty enchantment you performed yourself and small pieces of runecraft performed by apprentices borrowed from the project above during downtime. The combined effect allowed for water of just about any temperature on demand, which in turn allowed for an Kislev-style sauna, a Wurtbad-style hot bath, and water sprays quickly put to use when Wolf got into the mud of newly-irrigated fields.
Love the mundane utility we are seeing.
Warhammer could be a spellpunk setting if only the inhabitants could spend the time building it.

Chieftain Qrech of Seventh-and-Final-Combe; my deed-name was Anuvongeni
He presents as likeable.
...I trust him about as far as Mathilde could throw her tower.

The fact he knows Mathilde is from Sylvania is rather concerning.

Pestilens being on the outs is good. They are arguably the worst of the clans for Dawi to fight.
Seems Mors is just collateral.

Maximilian haunts Karag Nar like a sulky ghost for weeks afterwards, pouting and periodically obliterating a target with the Silver Arrows he never got to fire from a gyrocopter.
…objectively the lack of enemies is great. Subjectively the morale damage is terrible.
Either we double down or do something to take his mind off it.

'puppies'
You add another notch to the 'nurture' column of the eternal debate.
…guess that is another paper to add to the backlog.

[X] Yes. What better place to burn armies from than the skull of a dragon?

Damn.

Stubborn bastards.
i wouldn't be surprise if some how they crawl out of a Pit of Shade

dumping them into another dimension doesn't really work when they tend to leave pieces of themself all over the place during battle and since they regen from any pieces of them that are lying around

a drop of blood may take forever to reform but they got the time for that

Immediate observation: voting for both Roswita and Kasmir just to check in would be wasteful. We can find out from Roswita if Kasamir's back to using prayer to smash faces on a province-wide scale.

Knowing exactly what's happening will help us pinpoint future actions for best effectiveness.

[X] Princess Edda, on a hunt for weavers across the Empire.

Getting to know a fellow advisor is good. Plus we can get a feel for what's up with her traditionalist leanings and the Undumgi.

[X] Francesco Caravello, proud leader of the Undumgi

And getting the opposite viewpoint would be useful. Getting to know people in our home is also a benefit that I see mentioned and find myself agreeing with.

[X] Oswald Oswaldson, newly-minted Chief Bombardier of the Undumgi

Oswald has been around at the edges, and I'm curious to see more of him. And getting to know more locals as previously mentioned.

[X] Algard, reporting the Skaven Civil War in person instead of in writing.

He's already stated his preference for "Skaven Civil War" in regards to good news, who am I to deny telling him in person?

[X] Check in on your fief in Stirland.

Not expecting this to get in, but I want to express my interest at doing this eventually.

[X] No. Mathilde's dragon skull chair belongs only to Mathilde.

Mathilde took the time and dwarven manpower to turn the dragon skull into a kickass and comfortable reading chair, complete with curtains and accessible drinks. I'm not interested in ruining such decadent craftsmanship.

I mean, I would classify myself as a cross between that and "I want to see if any minor characters are cool enough to get promoted to major characters, like what happened to Markus, Anton, and Johann."

That said, "more time with favorites" has an obvious structural advantage: there is a central group of popular shiny characters (who are not necessarily the same as the main cast, cf. Heidi), whereas the "more characterization for minor characters" people are, well, spread out among the minor characters. Alas, I do not have a clever solution for this; please do not take my frustration with the natural phenomena at play here with frustration at/criticism of you or how you have structured the voting.
I don't disagree with the base idea but your examples aren't very good:
Markus was relevant because his specialty lined up with an area of the thread's interest, being good at sword.
Anton would likely never gotten any attention if he didn't keep having crazy rolls.
Johann already had the hook of being a magister playing silly buggers.
None of them were just characters that existed near us.

So with the dragon chair, I was thinking Mathilde needs to go one step further and get herself an actual dragon at some point.

Started thinking on what kind of dragon would fit, but then it hit me. What's important is how we get it, not the type; we must get a dragon in the most Ranaldian way possible:

Seraphon.

We must steal Malekith's dragon.

From what boney said wrt. Pit of shades vs. vampires, it seems like it actually does stop vampires from immediately starting to regenerate (because their soul is in another dimension), the problem of course being The Shadow Dimension could theoretically hold a vampire for 10 years or 10 minutes, and there's no real way to know.

From this, it might mean that if you have, like, hundreds of incapacitated vampires from a battle and don't have a hope in hell of properly securing them all in time; it might be a good idea to banish the excess (ones you cant find 'good homes' for) to the pit realm just as a ad-hoc temporary solution.

Edit temp dropping roswita, might drop fief if it looks like Corporal Snuggles Oswald has a better chance of taking over from both

Edit: and now that fief is ahead of edda, adding roswita back in

@BoneyM The Grey Tower is many things, but one of them is the quite possibly completely unprecedented use of Gazul's flames being directed by manling magic, specifically Ulgu. Vampire Souls aren't reachable by Divine magic, as they exist purely in the material world, where Gods can only really reach those in the Warp. The winds of Magic are literally what happens when the Warp has been pulled into the material world, and can affect it. Ulgu is specifically the wind for hidden things and evasion. Can we test to see what happens when some scrub-tier vampire's remains are hit by the Tower, possibly as part of a larger study of "what can we destroy with this mechanism"?

I'm aware you've said in the past that every clever trick to deal with Vampires has been tried and has failed - I only ask because this seems unusual enough that it might not have been tried.

Guys if we are goinmg to use the Deciver on the Skaven there is one way to get him to open up all at once, tell him we are a cultist of the Horned Rat, a servant of the Yellow Fang on a deep cover operation. Sure it's an insanely unbelievable lie, but that is the beauty of the coin, he has to belive it because of Ranald's power or at least believe that Mathilde thinks herself a cultist, but the thing is the definition of cultist is 'one who belives in a certain god'. It's the perfect sort of lie to sell with the Deciver.
The greatest trick Mathilda Weber will ever pull to the Skaven is convincing them that the Horned Rat does not exist.
