[X] You'd have done the same once. Tell her you understand, but treat her to a lecture on the risks and dangers of miscasts.
[X] The residents are weakened, taking the Citadel is now a possibility.

Undecided on the ritual telling but I am sure about these two.

I am somewhat undecided about all other options tbh. I do not feel we really got good enough read to guess how Pan is going to react to us lecturing her, and while I both really want to brag and see options how we could tell about Mork's weakening in belivable manner, it is a pretty wild tale with rather vague immediate impact.

[X] The death of the Warboss, the shattering of an Almost-Rogue Idol, and the weakening of Mork.

Leave Ranald out of it, but I think we need to get the credit.

About Panoramia: her actions come from good intentions but are inacceptable in war. That means that no serious punishment is needed but a harch talk is not enough: there should be consequences.
[x] She disobeyed a superior Wizard and her commanding officer. Lecture her and find her a suitably boring chore as a light punishment.
[x] Write-in: Leave her a note someplace conspicuous (to her) to either obey her commanding officer or hide her involvement better. This half-hearted middle-ground is a bad mix. You'll lecture her later, when it's more convenient.

[x] For a proper defense in depth we need the Citadel and Karagril.
Karagril will protect our supply lines from Karak Drazh's Red Fang raids, and with two of them, we have crossfire on the caldera.

Hm. Well Panoramia is a Mathilde fangirl so a harsh lecture would be kinda kicking a puppy, and likely unnecessary as the important point is to emphasize how casting while tired can harm the very people you're trying to protect through a miscast.
Better that the puppy be kicked than dead because it charged out into traffic instead of staying back as ordered.

Of course, a handful more votes come in as I'm managing the tally.

Whatever, I need to go to bed.

Have a goodnight everybody!

We should just blow the Citadel to shit and then use those forces we WOULD have lost to that meatgrinder to take another Karak. At least one.

If we declare the Expedition over I rather assume the humans take their pay and go home, and that's bad. The mercs held the line very well. The gryphs and wolves tear shit up in every battle. Also Codrin's archers exist. Supposedly. If we want to actually conquer Eight Peaks, we need those guys.

If we're concerned about holding the peaks manpower-wise, remember we've got another throng incoming.

I'm going to assume we're diplomatic enough to preface this with a lot of "looks like" and "in my opinion" rather than state it as definitive fact. Explaining why the greenskins went berserk all at once is in my mind, pertinatit information.

[X] The residents are weakened, taking the Citadel is now a possibility.

the warboss rolled a nat 100 on his "git the boyz mobbed up!" roll. that means there is unlikely to be a lot of orks left in the citadel given it looks like barley any made it back.

we have only vague authority over her, and as things go it was a fairly harmless breach of discipline.

I don't want to lie and thus would prefer either full disclosure or not mentioning divine shenanigans at all.
@BoneyM, did Kragg break something in his Anvil? His first roll was with +30, but very low and all subsequent were just +25.
Also, what with Karak Azul snippet? Will it be part of some future update?

I don't think there's any problem with disclosing that Mork was weakened without mention Ranald. If anyone asks for proof or questions us on how we did it, we could just lie. You know with the new shiny we got the last update which lets us tell a prepared lie with no chance of believing we're lying? Alternatively, we can just stay silent on the matter and pretend that we planned it all along as a proper Grey Wizard would.

Expedition forces are almost intact, from the looks of it: we can take two or three more battles. Taking just Citadel is fine and dandy but look at the Underway map: if take it and want to underconnect all of our holdings we need to occupy Sentinels and Kwynn Wyr or occupy Karagril - former with a bonus of overseeing East valley, latter with a bonus of overseeing Death Pass and crossfire on the caldera.

[X] The Citadel should be destroyed before we can consider our position secure.

The Dwarves told us about the embarrassingly elf-y siege weapon, I'm down for reciprocation. At the very least telling the dwarves why they went batshit is strategically relevant and we have no need to keep it a secret.

I'd like to get the Citadel sorted one way or another before declaring victory. This is likely to be one of the best chances we get to either take or destroy it.

As for Panoramia, either a talking to or the Grey Wizard inquisition. We've been acting as her superior officer, sure, but we weren't actually in a position to change her orders in light of changing circumstances and things did get a bit hairy. Sure, she probably intended to do so regardless, but I'm inclined to give her a pass.

For fuck's sake. We've been told time and again, it's only coming up once normal turns start again.

The Citadel is probably the best defensive spot in the 8 Peaks. Belegar held for years with just 500 Dwarfs in there. If we can take it, that's a hell of a thing to have on our side.
