[X] Accept Sir Roland

If the rolls go wrong, then at least a way can be arranged for his body (or his sword, if nothing else is left) to be returned to Bretonnia. He deserves that.

[X] The New Countess in Town

Every Elector's Meet should be treated as a prime opportunity to open new channels with the other provinces of the Empire. Did Frederick not gain an opportunity with the Moot his first Meet? Could have spoken with any of them, but the Moot was chosen.

[X] Accept Sir Roland, veteran Questing Knight of Bretonnia, in the Karak Ungor Campaign. Why has he dedicated himself so harshly to his Quest, however? Shame? Corruption? Uneasy thoughts indeed. You can probably convince the dwarves to let him come when you show up.

[X] Nordland Concerns

Everyone likes Sir Roland eh? :p

We have pretty damn good ties with Nordland and it's much easier to speak to Stephen at a later date. Building bridges with Stirland could be important, we might even be able to compete for the gun and canon trade that Nuln currently has.

yeah, no there's really no point in waiting another 30 minutes. Vote closed, pretty obviously Roland and Nordland. KK.
Rolland is a veteran Bret Knight and those guys are bullshit so it makes sense we want to bring him along and since it seems like Stephan is trying to get our attention for something important it only makes sense to talk to our friend.

Look forward to the rest of the Meet, the treaty, giving Magnus the griffon egg, and passing him information about how messed up Imperial law is.

Hero unit. Potential character. Potentially somebody willing to buy a doomsphere(or guns/cannons if he's from a coastal area or if his land seeks to upgrade their peasant levy).
Isn't Brettonia the way it is because that's the way that the Wood Elves and The Lady want it? I thought that if they modernized that they would get problems from the Godly front. Or was that just fanon that only showed up in Gaius' quest?

I wonder, if Karak Ungor really is where Sir Roland's Quest is set to end, if there's a chance we'll roll up a Green Knight interrupt during the battle. Every Questing Knight must beat the Green Knight in a duel as their last test before they can drink from the Grail after all.

Hope that if the Green Knight does show up it decides to help deal with the Goblins before dueling with Roland.

Nah. Giles loves his dramatic entrances. Most likely he'll show up just at the moment Neferata unleashes some dastardly plot, kick some ass and then ask Roland why has he been so lacking lately in his application of hair gel, and chivalry, but mostly the hair gel.
