I actually think that the incident in Middenland is enough justification for a large escort this time around.

I would personally take the large escort, but I would add the Pulverizers into the mix.

So I would probably vote for this

As for the escort choices, I can't help but feel like something bad is going to happen this Meet. I'm personally going to vote for bringing a single tank along with a notable escort, either medium or large

They do protect VIPs.

The thing is though, is that the Hohenzollern Dynasty as it currently stands has a lot of those. You've got Anna, Natasha, Tasha, Arthur, Sabine, Serhild, Magnus, Young Frederick, Karola, Ori, Stephanie, Freya, Wolfila, Talgris, Young Arthur, Trudi, and Karl.

And Frederick sometimes. But Frederick's also got, you know, the Greatswords. And Maelstrombringers. Etc.

I say we bring one tank and medium escort, that should be enough and have a tank at home for defense.

Of course, all this talk of Kislev locking itself down and notable battle damage on troops is very concerning, along with general radio silence from Alexandra. At least Kat still controls the borders so that is something...
 
depends on if freddies luck holds true, will he be attack and need an army, or will his home be attacked instead and it needs the army
 
Please, lets not bring any tanks.

Them going outside our province is a loss to our security. Especially right now when we have a beast tide close at hand.

there are over any were from 10,000 to 99,999 estimated beastmen running around our province and who knows how much worse it is in the rest of the empire plus its a long way to Nuln with plenty of chance for an ambush , so best we get kitted out to bear
 
On the one hand basically every other time we leave the province leads to us being attacked or being needed militarily. On the other hand we've basically never needed it explicitly for the Elector Counts meetings or the Trident ones. So like one hand like the battle for the portal where we fought Ghorros after the Elector Count meeting, but otherwise not necessarily needing those troops with us.

As an aside it's kind of wierd to go back to the first parts of the quests where we had a lot more emphasis put on our local Bull Warriors who basically haven't been mentioned for like potentially years in real time let alone in game time. I mean it makes sense like the knights aren't really under our authority, but are independent actors in our province whereas the Ogres are well ours.

I think one tank and medium escort is reasonable, I'd really rather not just have 10 Greatswords and our wife again like we were in the most recent Wood Elves conflict. Which is to say as long as the vote isn't like exactly bring no other troops but Urgdug and the vapor tank I think the decision is not the most impactful which I think is fine tbh.
 
Of course, OF COURSE. The Electors Meet! Get all of the leaders of the Empire in one place before the Beastmen charge forth from the forests! Its the perfect opportunity for such a coordinated attack!

The total lack of Norscans along their southern coasts. The massive loss of life in the western Middle Mountains, of lost wizards and mercenaries and state troops of Middenland. The ongoing conflict down in the Bonelands, a nascent WAAAGH!! that seems to continually grow in its danger. The beastmen potentially waxing elsewhere in the Empire. And, of course, the trade wars you willingly engaged in.

When you add it all up seems like several powder kegs just waiting to go off at once with Empire in the blast zone.

Seems like a decent escort and still want to show off tank, get advertising out there and maybe even talk to Nuln school since our last interaction with them was breaking in on a drunken bender.
