So, what I am getting from this statement is that worshipping Chaos is literally the exact same thing as being a Dwarf?

Well, fuck, considering how highly people around here think about Dwarves we might as well start worshiping Chaos then, it apparently comes with the same exact downsides and it comes with way more more up sides.

no being a vampire is the exact same thing as being a dwarf (Except not really, your much less bound up in grudges, zacharias was just a particularly crazy fucker even before he became a vampire.)

and the vampire is even better than chaos because you still have free will.

Hey, my BFF in this universe is apparently Abhorash, you don't have to convince me that Vampires can be cool guy's.

...Are you serious? It's not even remotely close.

You're completely ignoring that pesky, nearly impossibly to resist desire to drink human blood. Out of all the vampires in existence, only Genevieve, and maybe Johanna, are able to mostly resist that ugre, and doing so was insanely difficult. Everyone else was unable to resist that urge, and was twisted by it to some degree.

No living person in the Empire will happily accept being turned into a vampire. Hell, even Johanna, on the brink of death, very nearly refused when it was her only way of survival.

find dragon, drink dragon.

boom, bloodthirst gone.

farm dragonblood.

heck… I'm pretty sure that you could drink elven or dwarf blood.

its the life-force stuff in the blood the vampires need.

And presumably elves and dwarves have it too.

...you'll note that only one person has ever accomplished that. Abhorash, the progenitor of the Blood Dragons. That'll give you some clue of how rediculous this silly idea of yours is.

And why the hell would any Dwarf or Elf ever willingly let a vampire drink their blood? If you think magic users have a bad reputation, vampires have a well deserved far, far worse one. Just look at what's happened in Sylvania in the past few years.

There is absolutely zero chance of this hairbrained idea of yours ever happening.

Interestingly enough, a potential wife option to look into for Magnus might be Evangeline Hertwig, oldest daughter of the Countess of Ostermark and one year younger than Magnus. According to the front page her finance died recently.

Might not be a good idea to attempt to pare up the two then for that very reason.

Also we are already close to Ostermark so we want to make relations with another province who might have a good match for Magnus.

Uh no, that's exactly why we want to cement the Trident alliance. Currently they are allies SOLELY because their current Elector are Frederick's friends. Their children and Fred's children don't know or care about each other.

Marriage means sealing the deal for another two generations.

Oh I agree. Looking to the southern provinces to gainer future relations is totally something to do.

My only worry is that the Trident alliance between us, Nordland and Ostermark is a very personal alliance between Fred and his friends, and once the current generation passes, the Trident might fade away, which is still very key defence alliance for us.

Between maybe marrying Evangeline Hertwig and maybe marrying Arthur'a kid to the youngest Kessel kid would help secure the alliance for another generation.

Hell both her parents are warriors. She might have some good traits, maybe martial ones which Magnus might appreciate ;)

Edit: NINJA'ED

This is why we want each generation of Hohenzollerns to have as many kids as possible. The more spares we have, the more we can marry off for alliances. His real-life excess of unmarried children is in fact the primary reason why CK2 players who start as Sweyn/Svend II of Denmark can viably press his claim on the Kingdom of England, but in our case alliance-building is its own reward. If we can spread the Ice Mage gene from Nat to Magnus (carrier) to at least a dozen of Magnus's offspring, who then spread it across the rest of the Old World, that's just a bonus.

Slight problem with that plan if you're expecting something powerful from this plan, the further you get from Kislev, the less powerful said Ice Magic is going to get.
I know that. Think of it as prep-work for some point in the (far) future when we have the ability to add "Ice Magic functionality = 100%" to the leylines covering all human and Dorf settlements north of Nehekhara and west of the Dark Lands. It'll take about that long for the gene to fully propagate, anyway.

The other theorized way to make Ice Magic more prevalent is for Kattarin's work on uplifting the Kislevite deities to succeed on a metaphysical level. In that event, Ice Magic has a very strong chance of becoming part of the Ancient Widow's divine portfolio, making it available to all of Her priestesses and possibly obviating the need for ley line alterations.

I highly doubt Ice Magic will ever become a widespread thing no matter what.

Not sure how well that will work but it might be possibly with all the Widow worship Kat is trying to spread around.

Also wonder if Priests/Priestesses of the Widow and her kids won't leave Kislev and attempt to spread the religion all across the Old World.

If, when, fredrick wakes up, I want him to retire to Altdorf to spend time with his youngest children while they're still children.

I also want to get our line a suit of runic armor with the Master Rune of Gromril, Rune of Shielding, and Rune of Preservation.

Once again it's highly doubtful Freddy will retire himself till he dies or is convinced to do so from a outside party.

Also pretty sure there is no reason to retire to Altdorf of all places rather than Ostland when Freddy has a griffin that can take him to Altdorf to visit his daughters whenever he wants.

Would need to require Dwarf assistance and if their is a reward list at the end of this campaign we can get better stuff than armor.

Also we rather get ice armor that repairs itself since we know Freddy ruins all armor he uses thus having the ability to repair itself is much more important.
