You are going to play as a player in a virtual reality game for Pokémon. The people have no idea what Pokémon are/is in anyway shape or form.
You start with choosing your 2 specialties(Types), your name, and your gender.
I'm using unique ability's(For the most part) and will be playing with some unique moves. I'll take recommendations on those ability's and moves if you want to.

Use plans.

If your wondering why some types are missing. It's either not enough starting types, too op, or I've already done it before(Fighting type.).

Choose your Pokémon and town.
[X] Plan : precision and control
Roll 1 ground: 42 = Drilbur
Roll 2 poison: 51 = Budew
Roll 3 ground: 22 = phanpy
Roll 4 Poison: 66 = Skorupi
Roll 5 ground: 99 = Hippopotas
Roll 6 Poison: 97 = Nidoran
The rolls for Pokémon show rarity not power. The ability and nature of each one will not be shown. Until after your starter is chosen.

Choose 1 starter.

[]Drilbur

[]Budew

[]phanpy

[]Skorupi

[]Hippopotas

[]Nidoran
-[]Boy?
-[]Girl?

Choose your starting town (Beta)

[]Gold marsh:
A town known for both its gold mine and its marshes that surround it. Plenty of ground types and water types with various other common types. A small population of venipede lives here.

[]Rosen the town of roses: A town known for its forests, meadows, and lakes. Plenty of Poison types and grass types with various other common types. Uniquely a small population of gligar live here among the trees.

[]Brook castle: A town known for its mysterious castles. These castles span over 30 miles making this town the biggest starter town. While known for its castles and containing most Pokémon types, it is most known for its sizable golett population which is believed to have made these very castles.

I should mention that the beta lasts 1 week and that you can only have 2 Pokémon in the beta.

Day 1 Beta opening.
[X] Plan King Gligar
-[X]Nidoran
--[X]Boy?
-[X]Rosen the town of roses
Natural ability:
Poison point: When the horn of Nidoran makes contact with the enemy. The enemy must roll dc 40 If failed enemy is poisoned. Reduce enemy hp by nidorans max hp times .05 every round(Currently 1.05 Damage). Can stack up to two times. (Improves as it grows) The time this poison lasts is 5 rounds.
Nature:
Workhorse: Gain +bonus to endurance and +bonus to Hp growth. -5% Speed stat.
Trait:
None.
Nidoran(Boy): Lvl 5 0/50 Xp
hp = 21/21
energy total = 16/16
Strength = 10(Use this for moves that say to use it)(Average is 6-8)
Health = 10(Hp is double this)(Average is 6-7)
Endurance = 6 = 0.20 for defense so 1.2 rounds down 1. Hp is 0.20 so 1.2 rounds down 1. Energy is 1.0 so 6.(Average is 4-6)
Raw energy = 5 = 2.0 at start (This is for every starter) 10
Speed = 4 -5%(0.2)= 3.8 round up 4.(Average is 5-7)
Willpower = 7(If the Pokémon has low willpower than when hurt it must roll 1d10*x(Willpower)) (In other words with 7 willpower they had 7d10 rolls and if Dc is 40 then they must roll that Dc with that many rolls. If this DC fails, the Pokémon will refuse to fight.)(Average is 5-6)
Understanding = 5(This is how well your Pokémon understands you. Very simple, the more you have of this the better your Pokémon will listen and understand your commands. It has some unknown effects as well.)(Average is 6-7)
Moves:
Horn attack: Attack with the horn. Power 45 Dc 10/30/60 If failed 1 time reduce speed of attack by 1 stage during the attack. If 2 fails, Reduce power by 10. If all failed Inflict .25 damage Inflicted on the opponent onto nidoran. Cost 4 energy. Proficiency (Basic)(20%).

Tackle: Tackle the opponent. Power 25 Dc 20/50 If failed 1 time reduce power by 5. If both fail, reduce power by 5 again and energy cost increase by 1. Cost 2 energy. Proficiency (Basic)(15%).

Leer: Stare at the opponent. Power 0 Enemy must roll Dc 20 if failed they lose 1 defense stage(Defense stage is dependent on Lvl of pokemon. For Lvl 5 it means a flat decrease of 2.) Cost 0 energy. Proficiency (Basic)(10%). Quick action.
(Quick action means it can be used in 0-2 seconds. For battle you have 1 main action(Normal moves) and 2 quick actions. Quick actions that all pokemon have are dodge(You attempt to dodge. Success depends on the agility of Pokémon and speed of the attack.) and brace(You brace for impact and reduce damage taken by 10%+1d10%). You cannot brace 2 times(It does not stack effect).
Attention to all players! You will not be allowed outside the town for 1 day! This is to let you both bond with your pokemon, understand their moves, and look around the town! There is punishment for losing a battle outside the battlegrounds!

[]
Well that's good to know.
[]That sucks.

I have just gone through the basic tutorial and here is what I know.
There are Pokémon types, my Pokémon is going to be 1 of the 2 types which 1 of I can pick, Pokémon battles are normal, my Pokémon can receive traits through basically battle(You can gain traits through various things. Such as tournaments, training, battle, ect. The most common and powerful is feats.
Feats are traits that are gained through doing something abnormal or something that not many can do at similar Lvl.),
the goal of the beta is to see how the people react, how the Pokémon will work with average people, and to of course get popular.
The bonus for the beta is that I keep the Lvls of my Pokémon after it's over including any items I get, the bad part is the highest Lvl that can be reached is 12,
which isn't too bad as the beta only lasts a week and apparently Lvl ups don't do too much besides give mental stats, physical stat potential(How high you can get your pokemon stat in your current Lvl. The higher the Lvl the easier it is to raise.), and give my Pokémon the potential to learn more moves.
Oh and starting Pokémon will be Lvl 5, have 2-3 moves, these moves will have different proficiencies depending on the number of moves in total, 2 moves will have (Basic)(20%) for both moves, while the 3 moves will have (Basic)(20%) for the main move, and for the 2 other moves will have (Basic)(10-15%) with the percentage varying.
If the Pokémon has 2 moves 1 move will be attack and the other defense based, also if the Pokémon has 3 moves 1 will be attack, and the other 2 are random.

I think that's it. Oh right, I will be given starting funds with it partially being based on my Pokémon and its type.

Starting funds: 10 pokecoins, 1 day pass for training room(Can use anytime), 3 days worth of Pokémon food, 1 day worth of poison Pokémon food(Boosts poison Pokémon growth. Recommended to use during training), and 1 all purpose antidote(This heals all poisons from Pokémon up to Lvl 25. Can be used 2 times.).

[]That's great.
[]I think this is a bit much… but it also might be because I'm in the beta at the opening.

Time to explore!
[]I should take out my Pokémon and talk to it/him.
-[]Write in?(What do you say to it? This can increase bond.)(Keep it 5 sentences or less.)(Does not count as an action)
[]I should look at the forum to see if I can find anything useful.(You gain some questionable info.)(Does not count as an action)

3 actions per day!(Beta)(You have 5 actions for the rest of the week. The reason you have 3 here is because you are exploring.)

Npc market: This market will refresh every 1-3 days.
Funds: 10 pokecoins.

Pokeball(In stock: 150)(Cost: 20 pokecoins)(Can be used to capture a weakened Pokémon or a friendly Pokémon that willingly wants to be captured.)

Low Lvl 1 Hp potion(In stock: 300)(Cost: 10 pokecoins)(Can be used to heal a Pokémon for 10 Hp. Note: Can not be used during Pokémon battles unless rules say otherwise. Extra note: Often used when away from pokemon centers.)

Low Lvl 1 Energy potion(In stock: 100)(Cost: 15 pokecoins)(Can be used to restore a Pokémon's energy by 10 points. Note: Can not be used during Pokémon battles unless rules say otherwise. Extra note: Often used when away from pokemon centers.)

Low Lvl 1 Antidote(In stock: 150)(Cost: 12 pokecoins)(Can be used to heal a poisoned Pokémon. This can heal poisons from Pokémon up to Lvl 10. Note: This can be used 1 time to immediately heal a pokemon of its poison or 3 times over 5 minutes to heal a poison from a Pokémon up to Lvl 15.)

Pokémon food(In stock: 400)(Cost: 5 pokecoins)(Can be used to feed a Pokémon for a day. Note: Gives small growth bonus to a random stat while being used)

Oran berry(In stock: 250)(Cost: 1 pokecoins)(Can be used to heal a Pokémon for 2 Hp and boosts natural healing by +2 per hour. Can stack up to 2 times and lasts 4 hours. Note: Can use 3 oran berries to feed a pokemon for a day. Extra note: Can only heal the Pokémon on the first 2 uses in an hour.)

Pecha berry(In stock: 180)(Cost: 2 pokecoins)(Can be used to stop the damaging effects of a poison from a Pokémon up to Lvl 30. Can be eaten 5 times to heal a poison up to Lvl 20 over 3 minutes. Note: The amount of time the damaging effects will be stopped is 1 hour per berry consumed. Extra note: This is often used on poisoned Pokémon who are far away from a Pokémon center. This allows the Pokémon to not faint long enough to get to the center.)

[]Write in?(What will you buy? Nothing? How much?)(Costs 1 action if you buy something.)

Player market:

None(Game just started. What you will find here in the future can be anywhere from berrys you can't find in the store to pokemon you can trade/buy.)

Battle grounds: This is where you fight other players. (Gain some Xp and reputation(Reputation is needed for Pokémon tournaments. It also has some other effects???))
[]Sign up for a battle(Sign up for a random battle. At the start that's all there is.)(How many actions are dedicated to it? If chosen min 1.)
-[]Bet money?(The amount you can bet at the start is 1 min and 5 max. More betting options unlocked after 3 battles.)

Training ground: This is where you come to train. (Choose a physical stat and how many actions you dedicate to it.)(You do not gain much stats on Lvl up. You do however make it easier for training to work(Lvl gives a max amount that can be raised. Getting close to that raises the Dc).
[]Train?(What physical stat?)(How many actions are dedicated to it?)
-[]Use the training room pass.(The training room allows you to improve your stats better. The training ground gives you 1d50 per action dedicated to it. The training room gives 1d100)
[]Train a move?(What move?)(How many actions are dedicated to it?)
-[]Use the training room pass.(The training room allows you to improve your stats better. The training ground gives you 1d50 per action dedicated to it. The training room gives 1d100)

[]Go explore the Pokémon center: This is where you heal your Pokémon. Might be a good idea to find it before battling.(Costs 1 action.)
-[]Ask the nurse to explain how to heal a Pokémon.(Cost 1 action)

Just so you all know I had about 4 different natures that I spun a wheel for. Also, glad I got this done.
Oh and the way you make money is through betting (At least for now).
