Stuck in the Void! Get Stuff, don't die of boredom.

Starting a quest, which is the first thing I've written since I was twelve. Oh boy, this will be a learning experience.
This will be more informal, not really using many stats or anything.
Premise is that you are floating through the void, waiting for your Isekai adventure to start! Oh, wait this is your adventure? What are you supposed to do in an endless void!? Oh, is that something passing by, quick grab it!
________________________

So, you've died. Was a bit of an idiot while walking to the store with headphones on and got hit by an eighteen wheeler. Unfortunately, the driver saw you even if you didn't see him and tried to slow down, leading to you death being not quite instantaneous. This disqualifies you from being dropped into a world, as you didn't even push a little girl out of the way or something. Thus you are stuck in a endless void where both space and time barely have any meaning.

You know none of this, and as such are waiting for a light to approach or something. Really, why is it taking so long? In fact, how long has it been, you can't tell. A day, two? Why are you feeling nothing but boredom, when logically you should be freaking out?

With nothing to do and realizing you just spent what feels like a week staring into blackness doing nothing, you start to think on yourself only to notice that you can't remember much. Just that you are
[] Male
[] Female

Your body is almost completely nondescript, the only thing you can tell about your self is that your "eyes" are just white space, not even missing pupils, you legit have no eyes. You can still see yourself just fine, and this was discovered about a year in when you went to rub your eyes and went right through.

Since you can't remember your name why not just make up a new one! You feel pretty sure about
[] Write in

Now that you have that out of the way, you finally notice you are about to crash into some stuff! Wait, stuff! They are the first things you've seen since you got here, oh about a month ago maybe. You need it!

The Stuff you see is
1 A Camera
2 Used Candy Wrappers(approx 20)
3 A USB Drive
4 A Clamp
5 A Bottle of Perfume(20% full)
6 A Playing Card(Ace of clubs)

[] Write in

Make a list in your vote using the numbers attached to the items. Items listed first will have a 100% chance of being grabbed, every item down the list has 10% taken off(90%, 80%, etc) whether you succeeded or fail at grabbing the previous.
Example: 2, 5, 4, 1, 3, 6.
Any item you manage to grab will float along after you, no need to worry about losing it to the infinite void if you drop it.
Yes the inconsistency with time is intentional.

Every turn capital S Stuff will appear, you choose what to grab in order. First in the list will always be 100%, with every attempt making the next one go down by 10% whether you got it or not. Stuff is randomly generated and can be anywhere from 5-20 Stuff per turn. The more stuff you have, the bigger chance for larger stuff to appear sometimes.
People can appear eventually, but only if they have a place to be. A few planks nailed together will do for your first NPC follower to stand on. No one needs food or water, but such items can improve morale and drive off insanity and such.
Possible goals? I don't know yet! We could build a katamari, or a city!

This is my first time voting for a quest, so I hope I did it right!
Ultimot0, good luck!

[x] Plan: Try not to die of boredom
Oh Boy, every single person has a different vote. I... should of expected that to be honest. I half want to find a tiebreaker, but I'm afraid they would just make a new plan. I think I'm just going to Eeeny Miney Moe this.

[X] plan: endless boredom
There were two good plans, and I didn't really care about gender. Both had perfume strangely high for a limited use product. I'd personally if I was going to make a new plan would have had that as the last priority followed by candy wrappers, but. It's the best of the options available.

(Auto) A Camera
You reach for the camera first, to take pictures of all the wonderful sights you're sure to see. You grab it easily, driving your focus towards the other items, which have moved a bit farther.

(Rolled 42/90, pass) You grab at the USB drive, you can't tell whats on it or how much it can store as it has no labels but if its here surely it most have something amazing. Like the secrets of life, death and the universe!

(Rolled 48/80, pass) A clamp! Maybe useful for holding something in place... but it seams everything is following behind you anyway. Possibly you can build something with it?

(Rolled 4/70, mega fail) You don't know if you are ever going to see anybody again, but if you do you'll be glad you grabbed this bottle of perfume... a bit too hard, causing it to shatter. Glass and the liquid inside to go in every direction. You get 5 glass shards(small) and a bloody hand! Additional minus 10 to grabbing stuff for the rest of the turn.

(Rolled 41/60-10, fail) Turns out, Stuff isn't the only thing that can spawn in the Void, as a gust of wind that shouldn't exist blows the candy wrappers away. Drat, maybe you could of tried to lick them for any traces of candy on them... you miss sugar.

(Rolled 97/50-10 mega pass) That same gust of wind however, can turn right around and blow the Ace of Clubs right into your hand like magic. In fact as your blood soaks into it, this card gives you a feeling that you are now pretty lucky. (Plus 5 to all attempts to grab playing card sized Stuff)

Baring the bloody hand(which already seems to have faded like it was cut weeks ago), this was a good pretty good haul! In fact you already see a large group of small looking stuff(maybe 15 or so items) a distance away, but sadly it its going in the opposite direction.

Your Stuff seems to float after you so maybe you can push off of the clamp, making a small amount of force to go in that direction... its slow, but you bet you can make it. At least you have a way to change directions now! As you get close to the Stuff, you notice a Thing! Its... a floor? Yes, it looks like a wooden floor. Its moving in a different direction than the Stuff, but you could finally get something to stand on. If you go for it, the stuff will continue drifting away until you are unable to see it, and the same thing would happen if you went for the Stuff.

What a conundrum!

[X] Thing

First priority is a place to stand, and move around. A Place like that will give us distance, and frankly that's incredibly more important then stuff.

But, honestly the passes and fails were pretty great for me. My last two priorities were the only ones that failed.

Ultim0 can you please elaborate on how you determine passes and fails though?
Basically, if say its the third item I will then have the number 80 out of a hundred to start with(plus or minus bonuses or debuffs), so then I roll a number between 1 and 100 and if it is bigger than the remainder(in this case 20) then it passes. If it is less than 10 or more than 90 it is a mega pass or fail. Mega is like a soft crit, something good but not amazing. If that card had been a crit it would of been a +5 to everything. If the perfume had been a crit fail the glass would of blinded us, thus meaning we would be no vote on which one to go to and I would of just rolled if you bumped into something or not. Hope that explains it.

1.2 Booze and seeing Colors
It takes a while, but eventually you arrive. You are looking forward to this, jumping off of a whole floor instead of a clamp would be a lot less finicky and would mean you could go faster! ... not that speed meant much here anyway, but it will be less annoying.

The floor isn't that wide, but it is long so it most likely came from a hallway. You reach out to grab it, eager to do something as normal as stand properly. AS soon as you get near it, you start tilting so that your feet face it. You touch down and something just feels... off. Maybe its just because you spent so long floating, but your legs feel a little wobbly supporting your own weight. Or maybe its the fact you are feeling the effects of gravity for the for the first time since you died. either way, you do a few stretch to get your legs used to moving again and practice walking along it. You... haven't completely forgotten how to walk, but you do look a bit weird, if anyone was around to see you that is. You git a floor! Now if you come across someone, you can offer them a place to stay stand around!

(87/0) You manage not to trip by yourself... but a lose board makes you reconsider. IN the process of falling on your face, the board gets knocked even further out. You are about to push it back in when you notice it wasn't just a bad board, but a removable one hiding a bottle! Looks like the previous owner of this floor liked to drink, and didn't want anyone to have their's. You got a bottle of booze!

The group of Stuff is long gone, and nothing is nearby. Guess you are just going to have to drift again.

=================

Some time later, you see a light. Several actually, all of different colors you have never seen before! You could approach, but you have no idea what these lights are or whats causing them. For all you know they could be like sirens, calling the lost and eating their knowledge or something, or they could be space anglerfish! You should just ignore them, and go find more Stuff. But... what if its people in need, signaling with the only eldritch light they can find that they need help? Or it could be God, here to give answers. Really, you have no idea what it is or could be. Screw it, its something interesting and you're already dead. What could go wrong!

The ones you can actually stand looking at without pain are
[] Color- Invisible
You don't know how you can see this one, but its somehow brighter than all the others.
[] Color- Colorish
Its a Pinkish Greenish Blueish Yellowish... how about just Colorish.
[] Color- Demonic Clown Christmas
WHY GOD WHY THAT A COLOR
[] Color- Love
Daww... you never though you would be able to see what love looks like. You still can't explain it though.

Now, as the QM I don't want unduly bias people... but why isn't there a downvote on this site?!
I have no idea. I've asked myself that same question many times. Facebook doesn't have a dislike either. Yet it's an important bit of simple distaste. It's worse here of course now. There's nothing besides relatively good options. But hey I have a supporter.

I was halfway thinking about crossing that one out before and saying the character has learned the meaning of fear, but I remembered this site is full of people who make optimal decisions in quest all the time, and that they usually only mess up due to bad rolls and QM overriding because they have a plot in mind, and that they would never choose what is clearly the option included to make the other ones more palatable because the QM has a plot in mind.

rips apart badly made script Oh well, guess we're all going into the unknown here.

I'm aware I tend to be an advocate for the optimal decisions myself, and become tormented from less then optimal decisions. However... Just this once. I wanted to try something new. I really am sorry. That being said. There are people who will vote for things because they sound like fun even if they have multiple, multiple flaws in the plan.

However I'd suspect the anglerfish to behind the love light. The Knowledge devourer to be behind the invisible light, and God to be behind Colorish. Leaving the fourth option the murder clown light to be the one where actual people lay.

Oh its fine, its just that I didn't even bother thinking about what could happen if someone picked that option. After I post the next one I'll post about what the others not picked could of been, maybe, depending on rolls.
About your other post(can we keep double posting down please?) I will spoil that not a Single one of the things in the links would of shown up.

However I do believe the information there is still largely applicable.

Monsters and Creatures trying to deceive you to enter their vicinity are more likely to produce a more positive light as a lure.
Things that absorb knowledge and things will be far more likely to absorb the color of the light as well. Causing it to become invisible.
Leaving two Real color choices with more promising leads. Colorish, and The Clown one. Colorish is likely to be more mundane.
Clown only a couple of people would shine that kind of light. Those seeking to alert others to their existence without better means, or those trying to scare away and intimidate predators in the abyss. As Such Strangely enough the Demonic Clown Christmas actually becomes a valid choice.
