Type Moon General

You know, thinking back on it, has there ever been a single canon female Berserker who was actually angry? All the female ones have weird variations of Mad Enhancement that make them crazy but not actually angry, or just have a low enough rank in it that they're still somewhat coherent.

I want a female berserker who has lost her shit and will never find it, and is super fucking angry and incoherent all the time.

I imagine in general that they are moving away from the unintelligible berserkers, since it's hard to do characterization when they have no personality beyond rage. Probably why Kintoki and Nightingale are more popular then Lu Bu or Darius.

I just want ONE female screaming rage machine. At least give me one. I know Type-Moon prioritizes the Waifu factor above all else when it comes to the female servants(such as how not a single one of them is taller than the 170cm Medusa, with whom Nasu thinks he "overdid it" with her height), but I just want at least one.

Eh. They're kinda boring as hell, though since they're basically all the same character. I'd rather just drop the entire concept. Berserkules was terrifying, Berserkalot's Eternal Arms Mastery was creative, but unless you can do something really super creative with the concept, I'd rathet the franchise be done with that.

Yeah. But then you have Kiyohime and co who show that Nasu wants to move away from the mindless Berserker.

To be honest, I think he'd be better off moving away from the Berserker class in that case. It fills a storytelling niche quite well, but the needs of Fate/Grand Order (and, indeed, Apocrypha for that matter) are different to Stay Night.

And that's why we have all the Alt Classes that can swap in on the Cavalry Classes if standard Grail Wars of 7/14 demand non-Berserkers.

More seriously, I do like the idea of the Avenger class replacing the Berserker class in future works, at least if their class skills weren't broken as fuck from what we've seen. Having a dedicated 'anti-hero' class does lead to some interesting works, rather then Beserker which is all about the Master.

...It doesn't work heck you could end in a scenario where the Avenger is the one who wouldn't cause massive destruction to the Modern Era because of their Ideals

Eh just change the lore to -Master can turn off Mad Enhancement anytime they want

Have a screaming lunatic during battle and have 'Waifu' Room lines for the fanbase. There get the cake and eat it

I'm not seeing the downside there.

Just like it should be possible to summon people like Shakespeare or Anderson (who are really shitty casters for traditional grail war) there could be plenty of story potential from summoning the least avenger ever.

She sure as hell wasn't happy with Dr Frankenstien trying to replace her with a new meat puppet he calls "Eve" and let it call him Father when actually he was trying to create himself a new body and Eve was just a tool in that while also trying to get rid of Frankie herself.

And during the interlude she says she can talk normally but doing so is tiring and/or annoying for her to do. That's why it means a lot when you get Bond Rank 5 and max ascend her she says "I love you"

Pretty sure that's canon.

Illya deliberately kept Berserker ME all the time partly out of spite because of the pain she felt at sustaining him without grail support and partly because she feared losing him like she did everyone else in her life if he wasn't her slave.

Lancelot deliberately kept himself MEed as a continuation of his penance.

Lu Bu is infamous for betraying people so of course Rani wouldn't willingly turn off the ME. (Ironic because since Rani looks like his wife, he wouldn't have betrayed her)

Gaoto was nuts and worshipped Arc as a goddess. His confusion about what she was kept her MEed.

I guess there's a reason why in two timelines the class kicked off was Berserker instead of someone dangerous like Saber

Actually, who would be the least Avenger ever?

Because unlike other classes, Avenger's are defined as being obsessed with.... well vengeance.

Edgemund is the bloody Count of Monte Christo, Jalter was made by Gilles 'Ultimate Waifumaker Extraordinaire' De Rais to be a Joan of Arc according to what he thinks she should be. Hell, their Noble Phantasms are all based on what tortured them. The only one who isn't is.... Angra.... Mainyu...

Bersekers are literally designed to be the class to buff up a weaksauce servant to something resembling a threat like Frankie.

Its just the prominent examples we had of the class were Lancelot and Herc who were already top notch servants before getting the ME boost which kind of covered that up. Even then its noted the loss of thought means they can't be as effective as they normally could be like Lancelot needed to be command sealed in order to use his disguise abilities or Berserker being unable to properly show off his martial abilities and mind.

Kullervo is pretty much a good candidate

He went insane over his hatred and after his vengeance was done he commited suicide because of the sheer guilt over what he did to get vengeance
