Now you may be asking " whats Dead By Daylight" right?... If not I'll just tell you anyway just in case

Dead By Daylight is a 4v1 isometric survival horror game where you either play as survivors trying to escape realms known as trials by working together to restore power to giant gates-----

Or your attempting to sacrifice survivors to a ancient being known as "The Entity" as a killer

The game is known for being very accommodating to all people and creeds (such as being friendly to the LGBTQ+ community and being rather welcoming of other minorities)

It is known for frequent updates and has a very friendly DEV team

It is able to be played casualy and competitively

I make this thread now because now is the best time to play it as a new chapter arrived with it two new characters.

Not only that but its the sixth anniversary of the game which means free rewards for a limited time only, along with double xp for characters. If you are interested then prepare to be thrilled and enter "The Entity's" realm

It is available on most consoles and mobile

(And yes you can play as characters such as Laurie Strode/Michael Myers, along with a calvacade of original characters with their own personalities and back stories)

Since it was Canada day a couple days ago, in DBD you can get a free item by redeeming the code "OCANADA"... Gave me a free maple leaf cosmetic

While doing research on Hellraiser (looking for a specific website, last seen a decade back) several months ago, I stumbled upon this game on sale and started playing. Because wifi sucks for gaming, I've been very casual for the last two months...so casual in fact, I did 60% of my levelling with redeem codes and login gifts.

DBD is a pure multiplayer game and as such, the quality of each match depends on all players. Does everyone know the map, how their perks work and what the killer can do? Is the killer competent, still learning their character's mechanics or just standing there and hitting M1 to not get kicked?
You never know beforehand what you will get.
I've been bored (biggest excitement: can I hit my skill check?), frustrated (why am I being tunneled/first and only on hook today?) and sat on the edge of my chair (running distraction so others can open the exit, then leaving the map with the killer less than two steps behind me).

If this makes you curious, check out the official website or some videos on the platform of your choice, but for $deity's sake, don't look at the steam forums or "guides". Just don't.

What's wrong with those? I haven't seen them.

Otzdorva is a wonderful streamer to watch for learning the game.

He's pretty calm, talks through his stuff qnd is funny as heck. Also has a ton of longform guides for his thoughts on just about everything.
