Toonami Quest again.
March 1995
I've missed the first Toonami Quest. It was fun. I wanna do it again.

But I've already ended it. So I'm starting it up again, but with a twist this time.

Instead of merely voting for a show from an increasingly long list of shows and hoping for yours to be picked for the lineup, I've got a tried-and-true method of creating programming schedules that has worked on alternatehistory.com for nearly two years: the Cycle.

Basically, I give a lineup of however many shows I feel like. Then one person makes a change to said lineup, then another one, and so on, until either we get to current day (which has never happened), or we all get bored.

They usually involve Toonami or a similar block, and this time is no different.

Add shows, remove shows, move around timeslots, add timeslots, remove timeslots, whatever. Just make sure you don't take more than one turn at a time. Let someone else go first. Also, I don't care what shows you use for which blocks. Go nuts... just not too nuts. Remember that we have rules here.

Anyways, I'll start.

March 1995:
4:00 PM: Darkwing Duck (Walt Disney Television Animation)
4:30 PM: Gargoyles (Walt Disney Television Animation)
5:00 PM: The Tick (Sunbow/Graz/Fox)
5:30 PM: The Real Ghostbusters (DiC/Columbia TriStar)
6:00 PM: Super Friends: The Legendary Super Powers Show (DC/Hanna-Barbera)
6:30 PM: Star Wars Droids (Nelvana/Lucasfilm)

And... go!

Ok, is it like this?

we continuing this, or...?
Look, the original quest was fun because there was a lot of participation and people pitching in ideas and such, but without that the quest feels empty, it's not really that different from the original, we propose things, then that gets added, rinse and repeat.

But that's the problem, there's no real incentive to continue, adding and removing shows to the list doesn't really affect anything, and that quickly gets boring.

Some unsolicited advice? Maybe check out some of the producer quests here and on SB, I'm not saying you should copy them or anything like that, but maybe see how they do things and what you can learn from them, see how they actually have a world that reacts to what's happening in quest.

To be fair, I would have done some promos eventually for this one.
And those were cool, but a few promos every few updates isn't really that much of an incentive.

I'm not trying to be an asshole, but the way this quest and the original were run only works when there's a lot of people to fill the empty space, as it stands I can't say I'm having a lot of fun, I was hoping more people would join.

So in the name of not starting an argument or anything of the sort, I'll say goodbye now.
