Hey there! I'm Rooin, or Roonin, or Rawan. Have YOU ever wanted to play a game without playing it? Well I haven't! But if you have, well, then welcome to my LP! This goes somewhat like a regular LP, and I'll be exploring the world of the new HOI4 Mod, The New Order: Last Days of Europe.
Today I shall open up Pandora's Box. I am playing Komi, a fledgling democracy and possibly the least stable of the Russian states. Komi has a variety of paths I'd like to check out, and you, yes, you, could choose them!
I'll be doing this LP for a number of countries, though I am starting with Komi because screw democracy. But after this I promise we'll do democracy, we need to secure our power first lol.
So come on in! I'll be putting up some polls that you can vote on, which will decide the paths I go down. Have fun!

I haven't played as Stalina yet, would be interesting. :)
Also, glad to see more people interested in the mod, it really is quite a piece of work. In the good sense. ;)

Go with Bukharina.

Both Bukharina and Stalina seem fascinating, though the leak kinda spoiled it for me. I would go with Tabby or Serov, but genocide has never been my thing.

Why are you telling me the path to go down this is an LP.
Anyway I haven't really found a lot of time but I'm back lol.

Anyway, the LP will begin in two days. Mainly because the hotfix will drop by then so I can't play saves from before it

LP Part One: A Republic In Chaos.
It is January the first, 1962. The majority of the world lays low under the Nazi boot. The former Soviet Union, decimated by the German beast, was reduced to a few warlords. Some stronger than others.
The Republic of Komi is a fledgling state in Western Russia. Led by a loose democratic coalition, the nation experiences several problems. Luftwaffe bombings from outside, and most importantly, political troubles within.

At game start, Komi is led by Nikolai Voznesensky. An utterly detestable man, Voznesensky is a former Soviet bureaucrat who created the Republic with some other fellow apparatchiks in the aftermath of the chaotic West Russian War.
We're plagued by a number of problems at start.

For one, the Luftwaffe, that is, the German Air Force, has been constantly bombing Russia in order to suppress the states east of Moskowien, and rather frequently.

We're also severely politically divided, with various factions vying for power.

This isn't helped by the fact that almost every party has a paramilitary, and various members of the assembly may be loyal to said parties.

We also have Russia's only chemical weapons arsenal. Which can be misused.

Our army's decently sized- we have six divisions and six commanders. We have only one field marshal, Petro Grigorenko, who in real life was a Soviet general who defected to the west.

Our air force is tiny and pretty outdated.
We have two types of planes and fifty in our reserve.
We are bordered by Plesetsk and Ukhta, two military districts of the Front, Vologda, a neutral state, Gayny, a Christian theocracy, and Vyatka, a remnant of the monarchy.

What's so horrible about Voznesensky in TNO? He seems to be have been a fairly ordinary bureaucrat IRL.

Part 1.1: The Fun Begins, I guess

It's a new year, and things are starting to change. We're currently a republic, but radicals have continued to subvert the government.

Here's an introduction to President Voznesensky.

And another, introducing the head of the Union of Young Reformers, Alexei Kosygin.

Here's an intro to Svetlana Stalina, the Iron Lady.

Now before I sign off, here's one of my favourite mechanics. Andrei Zhdanov, while a member of the communist party, he's close friends with the President and can call favors from him (currently eight). Now, you, the audience, will decide which decision I shall take. Each decision will empower either the left or the centre.
I'm currently going to take only two every turn.

He was massively racist towards people from the Caucasus and Ukraine. Also-
'" IA Benediktov in his memoirs noted Voznesensky's state thinking, his energy, purposefulness and great efficiency, which he stood out for, but at the same time "his shortcomings, as often happens, were a continuation of his merits. Nikolai Alekseevich could sometimes be rude, harsh, it didn't cost him anything, flaring up, shouting, humiliating and insulting a person. " According to Benediktov, in this regard, the party organization of the State Planning Commission once almost expelled Voznesensky from the party, "for a lordly disdain for people."'
