Threads Of Destiny(Eastern Fantasy, Sequel to Forge of Destiny)

Voted best in category in the Users' Choice awards.
..................wasn't it because we had an affinity for ranged weapons and a need for direct damage arts? Because if we didn't I'm pretty sure we would have searched the archive for dps music arts instead

When we were looking to pick up a new Art, we had four choices. Not 'pick a set of keywords', rather 'pick between these Arts'.

We didn't have the option to look for DPS music Arts at the time, and now that we've got one in the form of FSS we don't really need any other kind of DPS Art.

I wasn't there for that particular argument, so I don't know why FSA won explicitly.

What? Why not?
Being able to paint things that come to life, change the landscape, or even just become illusions would be awesome combat abilities.
A really good piece typically takes time. Its one thing if you do a quick but good sketch, it could come to life and aid u in battle the way constructs can. But the example I gave before, hyper-realistic paintings--those take time. Battles, oth, often are decided in minutes. In my mind, I imagined that the more technique, skill and effort that is put in, the more powerful the product would be. Maybe you could take a prepared artwork to battle, and then use it. Like a realistic drawing that you have on u when starting a duel-- you would release on your opponent using your qi (the way one channels qi into those jade slips to access the info). Then the opponent would see the drawing and be trapped in an illusion.

I'm all for spending some down time relaxing, but what I want is for Ling Qi to spend some time with the family. The banter between the spirits and the interactions between LQ and her previously mortal family are my highlights in the story. All I want from this world is a chapter of LQ reading a story book to Biyu or something else adorable like that

Man, it's a good thing we voted to spend 1 AP per turn on family so now Yrs can put in a family section whenever it's appropriate then, eh?

Regarding archery, I do believe we had a set of combat choices, and we already had a art that let us improve accuracy through that Zephyr thing where we threw knives, so archery was a logical progression. We dropped FSA because FSS used a much better set of keywords and stat/skills. If we find an archery art that scales off of music, I can see us picking it up, but right now we're not really specced for archery. There will always be an undercurrent of people trying to turn Ling Qi into a stealth archer, though.

Bards and Archers go together like peanut butter and chocolate.

'Cause the Bard's busy playing music to buff the Archer, see?

Bards and archery go together not at all, for if the Bard is also the Archer, they've got to pick between shooting people full of holes and singing them into a deep, cold sleep.
Not really, that just means they need a bow that also doubles as a harp to shoot "arrows" of music ala Sir Tristan in Fate Grand Order

Good thing we have a domain weapon where we can load up music like a pointy juke box :V

We can sing and shoot arrows anyway!

Archery Cabal never dies

But for reals it's just not part of our suite anymore. BIYU on the other hand...

That should add enough archery to satisfy people. And I'm all honesty I agree with what Tehchron said earlier about our next art choice. I think some art that involves larceny, stealth and maybe agility would be pretty good. It should had decent utility, and I can imagine situations in combat where such an art would still be useful. And depending on the art it could be another method of debuff. It would definitely be interesting.

@yrsillar Just to be sure, does our advanced insight count toward the 4 needed for Green 3? Also, is it possible for us to get the necessary insights the same turn as we advance to a higher stage?
