So I think we should take The Wide White Sky and Imperial Menagerie, as well as a third professional action. They both deal with central pieces of the summit. For the third action, I suggest taking A Land of Dark and Cruel t try to establish better relation with Tangled Pines, and maybe it will unlock further actions next turn to improve on it and at least get it to neutral. Alternatively we can take Badlands and Bogs to try to give them a positive opinion of us, since they're neutral.

I think we should leave Paying Respects to next turn, so that it coincides with us leaving the sect, that way it will be more cathartic and narratively satisfying.

For our personal action, after trading one for a professional action, I think we should take Eye of Grudges. As Shu Yue explained to us, understanding people's grudges helps a lot with understanding them and their goals. It will help us with all our professional actions, especially if we take A Land of Dark and Cruel.

House of Ling can be left for next turn imo. Keeping this action for the same turn we leave the sect and pay our respects also makes a lot of sense.

For the cultivation, I don't have strong ideas except that we should take Dreaming Songstress at least.

Also I'd point out here that the personal actions aren't really "not working" or "playing with our friends".

They're still working, they're just focused on our development rather than our job.

Hell, Paying Respects is arguably the most non-job social action here and it's under professional for some reason :p

.... well, hang with Bao Qian is social too I guess, but I'm not sure how much that qualifies as relaxing for LQ yet.

So far, I like [] Plan Face Your Demons the most

[X] Plan Face Your Demons

Edit: I like this one too so I'll vote for it to add some spice

[X] Plan Surmounting Demons

Vermin god and fortress of Tsu just feel like they fit better with the actions we're aiming for. Demonstrations of power really aren't the order of the day here.

Yep, I agree... I had written it before reading the discussion, sorry!

Now the new question is: Why has no one proposed a plan with Golden Roads?

The most relaxing actions for LQ is cultivation.

That's just how she is sorry :V

(yes this means that Eye of Grudges is probably the most relaxing personal/professional action here as it's cultivation related)

I'm pretty sure the Argent Sect is going to be very important to any agreements this summit makes, even if they don't get any direct input into the making.

They're a major military power with directly relevant grudges. Having them be more willing to listen to us means we're more able to navigate ... sticky bits.

[X] Plan White Roads
-[X] [Personal] Golden Roads
-[X] [Professional] Paying Respects
-[X] [Professional] The Wide White Sky
-[X] [Professional] Imperial Menagerie
-[X] [Cultivation] Raising the Bastion (5/5, Greater Argent Vent)
-[X] [Cultivation] Hidden Scribe (8/8)
-[X] [Cultivation] Primacy of Beasts (6/3)

Because if we want fluffiness, there's House of ling, and if we want seriousness, there's Eye of Grudge

Poor Hanyi... 😥

Here are the two plans I propose, based on the remarks in my previous comment.

[] Plan Behind Grudges
-[] [Personal] Eye of Grudges
-[] [Professional] Imperial Menagerie
-[] [Professional] The Wide White Sky
-[] [Professional] A Land of Dark and Cruel
-[] [Cultivation] Raising the Bastion (5/5, Greater Argent Vent)
-[] [Cultivation] Dreaming Songstress (8/8)
-[] [Cultivation] Xiangmen, Fortress of Tsu Pt. 2 (10/5, Saline Grotto + Argent Domain)

[] Plan Preparing for Negotiations
-[] [Personal] Eye of Grudges
-[] [Professional] Imperial Menagerie
-[] [Professional] The Wide White Sky
-[] [Professional] Badlands and Bogs
-[] [Cultivation] Raising the Bastion (5/5, Greater Argent Vent)
-[] [Cultivation] Dreaming Songstress (8/8)
-[] [Cultivation] Xiangmen, Fortress of Tsu Pt. 2 (10/5, Saline Grotto + Argent Domain)

So far, I really like [] Plan Witness Nightmare

[X] Plan Witness Nightmare
-[X] [Personal] Eyes of Grudges

The action crunch is real here. All five of the professional actions available this turn really need to be done, and done within the next two turns. That means we're taking a hit to personal either this turn or next one, and it should be this turn in case of something unexpectedly comes up next turn that also eats an action.

And then all three of the personal actions are fairly important, so we're forced to make choices there. It's rough, but the standard plan so far of White Sky + Paying Respects + Imperial Menangerie + House of Ling or Eye of Grudges is our best bet I think.

Given the uh, very thin line between higher cultivators and greater spirits, I think it could possibly be useful even this turn, given the likes of Xia Ren, the Polar Nations higher spirits, and whoever we'll meet during the tribulation (if we bring any of our spirits).

We're taking Six with us. Since it's the Liminal, they'll have a physical body so that's one spirit already

It will help us with all our professional actions, especially if we take A Land of Dark and Cruel.

That's a pretty good point. I was adverse to Eyes of Grudges because it was a Successor Art Action for SSR. But if it only unlocks it and gives as benefits without actually creating the Successor Art, then doing it sooner would be better than latter.
Mmhhhh so my possible plans would look like this, I have to think which one will be the definitive.
I'm sure that overlaping plans are already being posted.

But, why aren't people including FFS's projects into their plans?

House of Ling plans:

[] Plan Hidden Home
-[] [Personal] House of Ling
-[] [Professional] Paying Respects
-[] [Professional] The Wide White Sky
-[] [Professional] Imperial Menagerie
-[] [Cultivation] Hidden Scribe (8/8)

-[] [Cultivation] Raising the Bastion (5/5, Greater Argent Vent)
-[] [Cultivation] Ice and Dust (?/4, Saline Grotto)

[] Plan Dreaming Home
-[] [Personal] House of Ling
-[] [Professional] A Land Dark and Cruel
-[] [Professional] The Wide White Sky
-[] [Professional] Imperial Menagerie
-[] [Cultivation] Dreaming Songstress (8/8)

-[] [Cultivation] Raising the Bastion (5/5, Greater Argent Vent)
-[] [Cultivation] Ice and Dust (?/4, Saline Grotto)

Eye of Grudges
plans:
[] Plan Hidden Grudge
-[] [Personal] Eye of Grudges
-[] [Professional] Paying Respects
-[] [Professional] The Wide White Sky
-[] [Professional] Imperial Menagerie
-[] [Cultivation] Hidden Scribe (8/8)

-[] [Cultivation] Raising the Bastion (5/5, Greater Argent Vent)
-[] [Cultivation] Ice and Dust (?/4, Saline Grotto)

[] Plan Dreaming Grudge
-[] [Personal] Eye of Grudges
-[] [Professional] A Land Dark and Cruel
-[] [Professional] The Wide White Sky
-[] [Professional] Imperial Menagerie
-[] [Cultivation] Dreaming Songstress (8/8)

-[] [Cultivation] Raising the Bastion (5/5, Greater Argent Vent)
-[] [Cultivation] Ice and Dust (?/4, Saline Grotto)

I think I'd lean most towards [] Plan Face Your Demons, though I don't see a massive reason to do Frozen Desire over Ice and Dust. While I do think that House of Ling is going to be really really important in the long run Eye of Grudges just seems like it will SO valuable for both the nightmare tribulation and for all the politics we have to play in the coming turns, also it seems like the sort of thing that could even help us in our hosting and network expanding. Also something that I don't think has been mentioned enough is that there the stronger cultivators in the White Sky faction seem to stray fairly close to spirits themselves so it isn't outside the realm of possibility that Raising the Bastion will do something to help us there as well.

Making plans! It's all the rage!

For the DrAmA:

[] Plan Tribulation and Aftercare
-[] [Personal] Eye of Grudges
-[] [Personal] Golden Roads
-[] [Professional] Imperial Menagerie
-[] [Professional] The Wide White Sky
-[] [Cultivation] Dreaming Songstress
-[] [Cultivation] Raising the Bastion
-[] [Cultivation] Frozen Desire

For the AGGRO:

[] Plan White Knuckles
-[] [Personal] Eye of Grudges
-[] [Professional] Imperial Menagerie
-[] [Professional] The Wide White Sky
-[] [Professional] Paying Respects
-[] [Cultivation] Dreaming Songstress
-[] [Cultivation] Bear God's Fury
-[] []Cultivation] Frozen Desire

I also really like [] Plan Face Your Demons

I think Paying Respects does work alright this turn because let's be honest - we've already basically left the Sect. With our focus on the Summit we're not really spending any time there now, and won't be next turn either.

That being said, if people wanted an alternative that didn't go all in on professional, we could do something like drop Paying Respects until next turn, and get both Grudges and House down this turn so they're working.

[] Plan Professionally Personal Priority Preparations
-[] [Personal] Eyes of Grudges
-[] [Personal] House of Ling
-[] [Professional] The Wide White Sky
-[] [Professional] Imperial Menagerie
-[] [Cultivation] Dreaming Songstress (8/8)
-[] [Cultivation] Frozen Desire (8/4)
-[] [Cultivation] Raising the Bastion (6/5, Greater Argent Vent + Argent Domain)

That said, a lot of whether or not this is a good idea comes down to what our options will be next turn, and we've just got more things to do under professional than personal. We'd be locking ourselves into 3 professional next turn, and that might be enough, but dunno.

Unfortunate that we couldn't get Root Inroads done previously. It would have given us info on the Xia, which sure would have come in useful now that we have to deal with the Heron Lunatic and convince her to take a chill pill.

Yeah I agree that we should take all by next turn, but I think Paying Respect and House of Ling belong in the same turn, and that Paying Respects should be in turn 18 anyway. Eye of Grudges will be useful for almost all professional actions in both turns furthermore.

Sorry for the plagiarism @Xepheria

I like the plan but wanted the alternative of house of ling

[] Plan Face Your Demons and Come Home
-[] [Personal] House of Ling
-[] [Professional] Paying Respects
-[] [Professional] The Wide White Sky
-[] [Professional] Imperial Menagerie
-[] [Cultivation] Dreaming Songstress (8/8)
-[] [Cultivation] Frozen Desire (8/4)
-[] [Cultivation] Raising the Bastion (6/5, Greater Argent Vent + Argent Domain)

To be honest I would expect that to go something along the lines of: "You want to get The Crucible to tone it down a bit? Haha you're screwed."

Guys I really think Paying Respects should be on the last turn we're at the Sect. And I've confirmed with Yrs that our last turn is next turn.
It would have so much more narrative impact if it were truly when we were saying goodbye.
