Doing Dr. Doom after or during Civil War could also work, seeing as how public opinion of superheroes has drastically plummeted around the world with the Winter Solder fiasco. The Heroes could either the too busy fighting among themselves to stop Doom, or they're either locked in a prison or are bound by the Sokovia Accords and can't do anything legally to hinder Doom.

Oh, definitely, I just meant that instead of New York City, the Fantastic Four are in a different American City. Because apparently in Marvel, NYC is the only American City to exist. :V

Not surprised that Tom Rothman was open to sell Deadpool. Heck, even mediocre roll would probably net him to us. Rest of this is so nice bonus.

We already duo own them with Fox though? We can already use those characters anyways? Except for some Skrulls like the Super Skrull i guess, but other than that Fox and Marvel already have a thing where they both own the properties and can use them.

I believe that having the Fantastic Four would steal a significant portion of the Avenger's spotlight, let alone the lesser known characters like Wonder Man.

And when the movie 2015 happens (if it happens) Marvel could recover them at a rock-bottom and do something good with them, but having a strong cast of heroes already done.

Probably the best choice in regards to potential returns and expanding the amount of stories we can tell, and also likely the most in-character choice.
