You find consciousness return after an unknown length of time. Your chronometer is entirely missing from its usual placement inside your chassis. What you do know is that you have been re-awakened by a Mortal Man. He seems to be in a great hurry to use the damaged terminal he is at to interact with you. A quick internal diagnostic reveals your entire form is gravely wounded by whatever has occurred. You have no fabricated units at your disposal, it seems almost all systems are offline, your stores empty, and none of the features reliant on additional components of the Ancients Design are available to you. How incredibly disturbing this all is to take in at rapid fashion. You eventually send a text response to the human.

Then of course you had the Stone Beetle, with powerful horns, and a body designed for durability and strength application? It could easily rip stumps from the ground as easy as stones, or even shatter rock inside its mandibles to ease extraction or use. Just as easily using its armored faux-form to crush and stamp upon any who threaten it.
Finally? The Excavator Ants, the smallest of the three only being about the size of a book or so. Yet they moved with coordinated purpose, and were useful for digging tunnels, or scavenging over large areas. Their bites a never ending cacophony until the threat to the efficiency of their work was eliminated. It was a shame you'd only be able to retain one of these functions in the absence of concentrated mana to fuel the systems effectively, let alone with any damage to the Array...
