A universe is gigantic and full of stories, but even it is small in comparison to the Multiverse. In the multiverse every universe has a story that is different than the other. Some have small changes to them, some have large changes to them. While creation ever growing and adding new stories to them, we always ponder on should the Monitors do something.
But there can only be 52 Moniters, while there are many more of you. You can do something. You can build the stories of the 52 universe of the multiverse that the Monitors can monitor and use them as a personal tool for your stories.
Welcome to the multiverse, a space that has no limits to it. Over it watches Mar Novu, also known as The Monitor, who had many incredible abilities, including separating himself into 52 parts to create monitors to watch over creation, only to reunite back into Mar Novu whenever he needed to stop his brother Mobius, the Anti-Monitor of the Anti-Matter universe, from destroying creation.
The many parts of Mar Novu themselves were powerful, ancient and wise. However, creation was ever changing and ever evolving and there could be only 52 monitors. Therefore they could only monitor 52 universes out of infinity. However, while they can only watch as event play out, you can decide on how events play out.
You are the makers of stories.
You are the saviors and destroyers of life and worlds.
You are the balance between order and chaos.
You are those who shape the universe out of a mold of clay into the very worlds that they would turn out to be.
It's all up to you.
Welcome to a new, fun quest that I've decided to make. It is not a very long update as it is merely an introduction and explanation of the premise. If any of you had seen my other DB/DC quest, The Monkey Hero of Food and Justice!, you know how I basically made the quest's universe there. Well, aside from a few things that I decide upon, this quest and that quest are not connected. That is its own thing while this is its own thing. No universes in that quest will be a part of the multiverse of that quest.
The premise is simple: We basically build a multiverse from Earth Prime to Earth 52. Now, certain Earths will be a lot more constricted in certain areas, such as Earth Prime because that is a general default universe as a corner stone for the universe.
When it comes to how we will build the multiverse, it is quite simple: I give you options as to how a certain event in the history of the universe occurs and you make a plan with the options that you like the most. From there there is a snowball effect with how other choices are brought up, which could be differently depending on the previous choices. It starts at the macro scale in terms of influence and then grows more and more into the micro scale as it focuses more on Earth and it's heroes and the summery of their stories.
When we finish with one universe, we go to the next, doing the same thing. The thing is how do you want the stories of certain characters to differ? How the cosmos is different in each universe? Does one has more influence from the Dragon Ball side or from the DC side? That is up to you guys.
This has been the introduction post of this story. When I have the time I will release a post about chances in certain aspects of Dragon Ball that will be changed for the setting in general.
Depends on the options that I give you. My vision is to have it more on the snowball effect. Sure, you can end up having a Earth with no Kryptonians or Saiyans or have certain characters be with other characters, but that is all on the micro scale.
I don't really know what you mean by "favors us", but I could try my best and remember, this is just something that everyone can have fun.
This is a post made for things that will be removed from the setting, specifically from the Dragon Ball universe. If there are any more things that I will remember that in my opinion should be removed from this setting, I'll write it down.
Now, there are many things that I want to remove in order to make this setting a bit cleaner. Most of them would be from Dragon Ball Super (because I find some concepts from Super I either highly dislike or find them too hard to fit into this setting). First thing is Zeno. I think implementing such a character as Zeno is very hard, even if he will be rather low on the food chain in terms of all powerful beings. Also, I hate the little annoying football head, so he can go bye bye for all I care.
Next is God Ki. It is not explained very well in DBS what it is and in the end it doesn't really make any difference, as we constantly have more and more characters without God Ki who match and surpass those that have it. Therefore, only the regular ki that is constantly used in the original Dragonball manga is in this setting.
Next and last one for now, transformations.
Transformations are a stable of the Dragon Ball franchise. Despite that there are too many transformations and most of them going to a single race: The Saiyans. Let's do a headcount, shall we? Oozaru, Super Saiyan 1-4 (yes, I'm including SSJ4 from GT), Super Saiyan God, Super Saiyan Blue, Super Saiyan Rose, Super Saiyan Rage, Super Saiyan Berserk and Wrathful form. Those are a lot of transformations. For the sake of the setting, they will be cut down as followed:
Oozaru- The form every Saiyan possesses under the full moon when they still have their tails.
Wrathful State- A form/state which a Saiyan without a tail can access the power of the Oozaru without transforming. It requires incredible mental fortitude and a years of training.
Super Saiyan- A legendary form that Saiyans could access through incredible mental fortitude, years of training and most importantly, a traumatic catalyst. The power of Super Saiyan taps into the emotional spectrum without the use of a lantern ring and uses more raw power than a lantern ring.
Super Saiyan God- The pinnacle of Saiyan power, it is a divine state of power that requires a powerful ritual, but the result is a being with the powers that are of unfathomable description. In terms of power, it is comparable to incredible beings like Trigon or The Spectre, however there is so much more to it than just pure power.
Now, I'm not going to have Super Saiyan Blue in this setting because I don't like Super Saiyan Blue that much.
Ultra Instinct stays as it is, but at most it would be equal in power to Super Saiyan God for Saiyans and any race on the same level as strength as Saiyans, while for humans it would make them slightly stronger than a Super Saiyan.
As for Freeza and his race, their only transformations would be their restrictive forms. No 5th Form like Cooler and no Golden Frieza. I don't really like Golden Frieza and I despite resurrection F, so I will cut that form as well. With their race it goes from First Restrictive Form to Final/True Form.
No. None of the universe there are going to be part of this multiverse. This is more of a clean slate while over there it is more story driven, so it is possible for Boxer from that quest to visit your Earth 5, but that will be in that quest. This quest is more for fun and less story driven.
Sorry if your disappointed that's it's not going to be there, but you can build something similar if you can convince everyone to agree to whatever choices you make when it will come to the stories of the heroes of Earth. So not all hope is lost.
Author's request: Please always use Plan Format in the updates. For this quest I request (he, I rhymed) to always use the plan format please.
Mar Novu, The Monitor of the universe watches from the Dawn of Time as the first universe of the multiverse is born. He watches as things went into fruition and as time went one life formed inside it as well, with the powers that were spread across the multiverse with the Source's Godwave supplying the building blocks for it.
He watched on as the universe formed itself into a massive mass of clustered galaxies and solar systems. Within the solar systems some planets had life formed on it, life which constantly evolved and shaped over and over again as thousands, millions and billions of years quickly passed for the watcher of the multiverse.
But right now he was watching as the first universe was changing, one that would eventually be known as Earth Prime universe.
The Agents of the Lords of Chaos and Lords of Order
The powers in the multiverse that were always in conflict were the Lords of Chaos and the Lords of order. When the multiverse was first formed, they decided to fight for it, attempting to either cause unadulterated cause or keep order within it so that it wouldn't collapse onto itself.
Because of that they all decided to create their agents inside the multiverse in order to enforce their goal, either by empowering normal mortals with great magical powers or by creating powerful artifacts that would allow them to possess a host in order to enter into universes themselves.
The most famous case was that of Nabu, one of the more powerful Lords of Order, who created several powerful artifacts, with his Helmet of Fate being the most famous among them, which allowed Nabu's spirit to take over whoever put the helmet on his head and become the powerful Doctor Fate.
However, there was always more ways to keep order in the universe and there may never always a Doctor Fate to fight the agents of the Lords of Chaos. Was there more that the Lords of order decided to do in order to enforce order in the Earth Prime universe?
[ ] No. The powers of Doctor Fate, while limited compared to the full power of Nabu, was more than enough to enforce the order of the universe.
[ ] Yes. The Lords of Order created a powerful magical item and spread it across the universe. The items had the appearances of a large white gemstone, a long golden whip, a deep-blue short sword and a blue glove with an eye at its center. These items were to choose worthy mortal wielders who would become an extension of the will of the Lords of Order. These agents would be ants in comparison to Doctor Fate, they would still be powerful to other mortals.
[ ] Yes. The created two beings who had a life link to one another and possessed immense power: one to destroy and one to create, because for there to be order in the cycle of life, there must first be destruction before creation. If one was to die, the other would die too and they would reincarnate over and over again. While their powers varied greatly, they were at their best comparable to Dr. Fate himself.
However, they were not the only ones who acted in such ways. Mordru, a powerful wizard and a Lord of Chaos was doing the exact same thing as Nabu did, only instead of making a helmet, he simply created astral projections of himself or simply inserted himself into the universe itself, which constantly forced fights between him and Doctor Fate.
But the other Lords of Chaos had similar ideas as to what they could do to create agents of their own or to simply do what Mordru did. How did they decide to create their agents in the Earth Prime Universe?
[ ] They decided to whisper to use astral projections to whisper to mortals and convince them to create cults that would perform abominable magical rituals that would turn their followers into chaotic, demonic abominations. Even if these creatures weren't that strong in comparison to the agents of the Lords of Order, their sheer number was enough to sow death, destruction and bloodbath across the universe.
[ ] They created four powerful artifacts: a dark-purple diamond, a skin-covered magical tome, a long, blood-red colored robe and a small dagger with a sickeningly-green colored blade. These items were sent across the universe to find the most detestable, disgusting, morally reprehensible mortals and give them tremendous power and allow them to act freely to cause as much chaos as possible.
[ ] They simply created avatars of themselves inside the universe like the Old and New Gods do. While the avatars weren't near close to their real power, their still possessed a godly amount of power that made them a threat to everyone else.
The Green Lantern Corps
Once upon a time, there was a being of tremendous power that was known as "The Entity of Life", who was created by the Godwave. It laid asleep and in its sleep it separated into seven different beings, creating the Emotional Spectrum. These beings were the Entities that represented a manifestation of an emotion. Ion, Parallax, Butcher, Ophidian, Adara, Predator and Proselyte were those seven beings, being the manifestations of will, fear, rage, avarice, hope, love and compassion.
However, because of their nature, these beings were too powerful for a single universe to contain, so their power could only interact with mortals through gigantic power batteries in the shape of lanterns that were stationed on planets across the universe of Earth Prime, and those planets would serve as the locations for those lanterns in the rest of the other universes.
After millions and billions of years in which the universe existed, one race found the green power battery lantern that channeled the power of Ion on a planet called Oa. The alien race that discovered it harnessed its power and felt the tremendous power that they received.
Upon learning how to use and channel those power through small rings of their creation, they formed a council and decided together unanimously that they would always use those powers to protect the entire universe, and thus the Green Lantern Corps was formed.
For a few hundred years the leaders of the Green Lantern Corps, know calling themselves the Guardians of the Universe, mass produced the rings and even built small batteries that allowed the rings to be recharged without needing to use the giant battery. They sent the rings across the entire universe and recruited aliens of all races without any sort of bias discrimination and trained them all to patrol certain sectors that were given to them.
This policing force grew very quickly and in just a few centuries established itself as the most powerful organization in the universe and shaped a galactic law which all who travel across space must follow, or else they would be considered criminals.
But were they completely unopposed by anyone in their first centuries and thousands of years of their existence?
[ ] Yes. In terms of sheer power and numbers, no one could defeat the Green Lantern Corps. Their word was law and until a certain individual came to the scene, there was no one who could fight them off and go against the galactic laws.
[ ] Not at first. A few hundred years after they formed, another group of would-be space policemen came to the scene in one galaxy named "The Galactic Patrol". At first there were many conflicts between the two groups over who should be the police force of the universe, but the two sides eventually sat together and agreed to form a cooperative coalition that would work together across the universe.
[ ] No. In the first millennia of their existence they had no opponents, but then The Reach rose up to prominence. Using intrigue and subterfuge to gain power and influence, The Reach quickly gained enough power to become a threat to the Green Lantern Corps and start a long lasting war, which has never ended.
[ ] No. For the first 500 years of their existence the Green Lantern Corps had complete dominance, but then a large group of powerful warlords across the entire universe rose up to prominence and gained a massive amount of territory in many Green Lantern sections, with the supervising Lantern dying trying to stop the warlords.
[ ] No. While in their first centuries they managed to build and establish their organization, everything changed when former Lanterns who were exiled away for becoming corrupt formed their own Yellow Lantern Corps, which used the yellow power battery which channeled the power of Parallax. The conflict between the two Lantern Corps became one that has never concluded with either side the victor. ...

Here is the first actual post of this quest. I know that this is not a lot, but I just know that I will still try to do better in later updates. Just know that because of Earth Prime, it will be a lot more restricted in certain ways.
Also, please use Plan Format as I requested at the top. Until next time stay safe, stay healthy and have a great day.👍

Maybe you should promote this and the SB version by putting links of them in the monkey hero quest. That might get the attention of a few fans of DB and DC.

As the Lords of Order and Chaos created their agents and as the Green Lanterns and the Galactic Patrol set their positions, they crossed each other many times and got into conflicts whenever either came to protecting the universe from the agents of the Lords of Chaos to simply jurisdiction of their roles as protectors of the universe, but eventually the agents of the Lords of Order came to understand that the Lanterns and the Galactic Patrol brought order as well and could see them as allies.
But still while they were the dominant powers in the universe of Earth Prime, time still moved and brought changes to it. More powers rose up, some benevolent and some malevolent. All fought for territory and some were written down into history, while others weren't.
The Golden Age of the Kryptonian Empire
Krypton was a planet that was for the most part unremarkable. It was considered to be a planet with life that was not extraordinary than any other planet that contained life. However, that changed when the people there discovered space travel and could go across the universe.
The most intelligence species that lived on that planet were the Kryptonians, humanoid beings with incredible intelligence and had technology that was by far the most advanced at the time. They were capable of creating devices that allowed them to control the genetic traits of their offsprings, create suits of armor that were flexible yet touch at the same time, ships with engines that were based on either powerful warp drives or ships with the capability to create wormholes to travel through.
However, their technology was not what made them so great and awe-inspiring across the entire universe. It was in fact their tremendous powers that put them on the radar of the entire universe. The Kryptonians absorbed the radiation and energy of their young yellow sun, which charged their cells and gave them incredible powers that could match, if not greatly surpass those of the Green Lanterns. It also made them feared for their potential for conquest,
However, despite their incredible power, despite their vast intellect, despite having technology that wouldn't be discovered by many of those other races thousands of years later, the Kryptonians almost never conquered planets through war.
However, their ships spread across the stars rapidly, making them quickly the largest empire in the universe and without a doubt the strongest one. They were untouchable by anyone who tried to fight them off or tried to create an empire as well.
The Kryptonian empire had shown the universe the marvels of technology. They used powerful machines to terraform planets into becoming habitable and used them as grounds for bio-engineer testing, in which they used to both create sub-species similar to their own, like the Daxamites, who had the same powerset as the Kryptonians, only with a distinct weakness to lead. They also used these tests to create entirely new species like the Tuffles and Heras
Many races during the time in which the Kryptonians were at the top of the food chain and many after their golden age could never truly replicate those same technologies that the people of the sun could produce, nor could they match their strength. That's why they were admired and feared. But which of their inventions left the biggest mark on the history and was one that many races tried to replicate?
[ ] Their bio-engineer labs. The ability to create new life through specials machines, the ability to decide the genetic traits of offsprings and the cloning technology that allowed newly made races to populate entire planets was one that many races desired in order to achieve their own potential, as well as creating races that could either be the perfect soldiers or the perfect slaves. Tyrants and warlords were those who tried their damnedest to obtain those technologies.
[ ] Their ship designs. The ships of the Kryptonians not only possessed incredible weapons that harnessed Ultraviolet radiation and infrared radiation, ionic radiation and particle radiation, but they also possessed engines that could warp space and travel across multiple galaxies, with even special ships being capable of creating wormholes to travel through. Everyone wanted to get their hands on those ships and especially those engines.
However, the empire of the Kryptonian race was not one that was capable of keeping its territories though time. The catalyst that caused the end of the golden era of the Kryptonians was the change in the leadership.
Once the great five families of Kryptonian society used to rule the empire, with an emperor always coming up from those families. During the reign of a rather weak willed emperor the high council managed to take all authority right from under his nose, becoming the new leaders of the Kryptonian empire.
The high council itself was very much against keeping their people away from planet Krypton and were against constant expansion, so they pulled out all the Kryptonian citizens from the colonies and had the colonies lose any connection to planet Krypton, which slowly caused the colonies to rot and disappear. In a matter of decades, all the colonies were taken over by other alien races and the Kryptonian empire became incredibly small.
Why was the council so against the colonies?
[ ] They were obsessed with turning Krypton into the greatest planet in the universe to the point that it would have even overshadowed Oa with its greatness, instead of focusing resources on all the thousands of colonies that the empire had.
[ ] The council members, like many Kryptonians who lived on planet Krypton at the time, were incredibly xenophobic and despised the idea of interacting with inferior beings, seeing themselves as gods.
The Ancient Namekians
The Namekians were peaceful beings living on a planet named Namek. They were humanoid beings that evolved from alien slugs, needing only water to survive and could each produce an offspring on their own. They were only greatly spiritual beings who not only managed to discover how to manipulate ki, but also learned a great amount in the arts of the arcane, making them beings that were considered on par with the Kryptonians.
When they discovered space travel, the Namekians started using this technology to spread themselves across the universe as well, but not like the Kryptonians did. While there were a few Namekian colonies here or there, they mostly just went around the universe and acted as aids and good Samaritans, using their knowledge to bring enlightenment to other races or simply performing great acts of kindness such as healing the sick and creating food for the poor.
The Namekians themselves were also incredibly knowledgeable about legends of many races, as they heard those stories from the many aliens that they had helped. Their kind hearts made them want to keep the tales of people alive so that these races could be remembered as time passed and they would no longer exist, forming the Namekian Book of Legends.
However, all of those things were not what the Namekian people were most known for, but for a legend that the entire universe had heard. The legend said that one Namekian in particular, one with tremendous power far beyond all other Namekians who bore the name of Zamala created a powerful artifact: the Dragon Balls. According to the legend, the dragon balls were perfect spheres who were as big as small planets, with seven of them existing in total and spread across the entire universe. The legend stated that whoever found all of the seven dragon balls and somehow gathered them together would be granted any wish that his or her heart desired.
This legend spread through wildfire across the entire universe, with all who had heard it wishing to find all of the legendary spheres with the desire of getting their wish. Many found only one or two spheres, but the whole seven were never found.
As time went on, Namek started becoming more industrial and there were more and more dry seasons and eventually planet Namek started to suffer a serious drought. It was devastating to the Namekian race, as water was what they needed to survive. They tried using magic to create water, but the more they used magic, the worse the situation became on the log run, as destructive storm started to occur on the planet, killing many Namekians.
Eventually, when almost the entire race died out, a single Namekian named Katas had sent his last remaining son to a small and seemingly insignificant planet called Earth before dying in a devastating storm.
Eventually the dry seasons and the storms subsided, with only three Namekian children remaining alive. One of them became the new leader of the Namekian race and helped birthing the race anew. Which of the three became the leader?
[ ] The temperament and kind child who desired to bring back the Namekians and put them on a path away from the stars, with a harder emphasis on the practices of spirituality and the study of magic. He never wanted to truly rule because he believed that he wasn't a worthy leader, but he thought that he was the one necessary to bring back the Namekian people.
[ ] The cruel, sadistic and pompous one. A tyrant with a great amount of charisma who made his friends believe that he wanted he believed in the ideals of making the Namekian simple people who worked the land and were masters of ki in order to protect the Namekian people from another Great Drought, while in fact he just wanted to be a king among peasants.
[ ] The oldest and most rash one, who desired to bring back the Namekian race and make them masters of magic who could create dragon balls themselves so that they could wish away any trouble that came their way. He did not have any real ideas aside from focusing on finding a way to create more dragon balls, but he convinced the others that it was the best way to fix things. ...

Okay, another short one without too much to it, especially not choices, but that's Earth Prime to you, not too much control. But don't worry, I'll try to make this section in other universes different and to give you far more things to pick.
Anyway, I hope that you all liked this update nonetheless and until next time stay safe, stay healthy and have a great day.

Is it kinda weird having two races whose most famous members are considered defenders of good be the First Mortal Tyrants, kinda, does it make for good stories, yes.
