This quest will be an adaptation of The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, with the twist that five of the game's major characters: Link, Princess Zelda, Ganondorf, Navi, and Epona, will be replaced with characters from almost any other medium you can think of. Note that not only will their personality and abilities be ported over, but their presence may impact the plot as well. In addition, this will be a quest, meaning that you can alter how you go about saving Hyrule as well to some extent.
Now then who will be who? All options are write-in of course.
This looks fun! Are we playing as a particular character, so it would be in our best interest to stack the deck in a certain way, or is our goal simply to create an interesting story?
[X] Link: Yoo Joonghyuk from Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint
[X] Zelda: The Spy from Team Fortress Two
[X] Ganondorf: Light Yagami from Death Note
[X] Navi: Badgey from Star Trek: Lower Decks
[X] Epona: Princess Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
Badgey can't kill anyone outside of the ship simulations (probably), and Yoo Joonghyuk would be a good pick on a team even if he has none of his abilities granted by the scenario (I am unsure if his powers port over because they're granted by other characters and aren't innate). If Light can't keep the book, then I'd like to switch him for someone else. Gotta have a strong villain. Picking spy for zelda because that's a class name and (presumably) not his actual name so Light can't kill him instantly. Twilight Sparkle can fly and shoot stuff.
[X] Link: Chara from Undertale
[X] Zelda: The Spy from Team Fortress Two
[X] Ganondorf: Loki
[X] Navi: Rapunzel
[X] Epona: Princess Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

You are starting out as whoever replaces Link, but it will be possible for other characters to join him on his journey as well, including characters not listed here. Although I am planning on having stats be present in this game, the primary goal will always be to tell a good story.
Plan: It's Like Poetry, It Rhymes
[x] Link: Luke Skywalker
[x] Zelda: Princess Leia
[x] Ganondorf: Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader
[x] Navi: R2-D2
[x] Epona: Han Solo
Naturally, Epona is Han Solo, because the team rides his ship around and I don't think writing in a ship for Epona makes much sense at all.
[X] Link: Rapunzel
[X] Zelda: Flynn Rider
[X] Ganondorf: Mother Gothel
[X] Navi: Stella from Winx Club
[X] Epona: Princess Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
I don't know about some of the votes being basically from one series. It kinda undermines the multicross aspect of this quest to me. Okay, I may be guilty of doing the same thing, but at least I have 2 characters not from Monster Hunter Stories.

I think it'd be fine! Especically since 'majority' in this case would probably be a minority majority. We have 8 votes, and each leading character only has two.
