Dr. Hojo stared at his screen with a hint of amusement. His idea worked.

Most of them do, but this one he just didn't expect to actually work.

He took a sip of coffee, and pondered over his findings.

Summons stayed in their own little dimension, and Materia were basically just memories forgotten by a summon. Much like the light from a star, what you are observing is extremely old. Some summon Materia are actually memories given freely, and thus recent, something Lucrecia has managed to replicate in the lab on a very small scale.

But what Hojo was working on was actually creating portals to these dimensions in order to manipulate them. Image a pocket dimension used to connect a machine gun to a bullet factory with an ice Materia equipped to make it never heat up.

Or imagine unlimited storage for fuel, or to be used in other ways like living inside of one like the summons do.

Oddly enough, the very first thing he accessed was a place totally dark, but clearly had living beings inside of it. He sent a few SOILDERS inside, and they came back with three body bags and a single, large man with a large nose dressed in black and maroon.

They used the sleep spell on him, but apparently he was insane, claiming to be a king, the holder of the "Triforce of Power", and that his forehead was completely fine.

Well, he hasn't done a live examination of a subject in a while....yesterday is a while, right?

What Hojo found was....disturbing, even for him.

A source of what was undoubtedly magic, but not Mako or lifestream based.

And he had seemingly unlimited power coming from his left hand, so he cut it off.

It grew back.

He cut it off, shot it off, burned it off, ripped it off, and used mako to destroy the cells of his wrist in order to time how long it would take for it to grow, and it varied by a few minutes.

Of course, his monsters got a free meal in the form of a few hundred hands, which meant that none of his assistants were accidentally killed because they were hungry, this day kept on getting better! After that, Hojo figured out how to harness the energy, by siphoning out his actual magic, the unlimited power would refill his magic supplies automatically. Hojo grinned at the sleeping man in front of him. Drugs, they keep even the oddest of specimens knocked out.

He started to collect this magic, and tried to mix it with Mako, only for the Magical energy to start slowly be converted into Mako.

Examining the magic energy inside of the subject, his own energy was becoming Mako over time.

How interesting....an unlimited supply of Mako, just not in bulk....

Well, there was one way to fix this, and if it went well then he can apply this to Sephiroth, the soon to be born child.

The Crystal looked on in disbelief at what was occurring, and politely knocked on the Hyrulian Dimension's door. Farore, Nayru, and Din all answered the door, and immediately apologized.

"We'll go ahead and tell our big sister..." Din promised, and the Crystal arched a metaphysical eyebrow.

"She's Zelda right now you twit...." Farore muttered.

"She can send the Hero of Time to go deal with him..." Nayru said, and the Crystal facepalmed.

"YES MA'AM!" They all yelled, and closed the door.

Good, because the Crystal has enough shit to deal with with Chaos and Cosmos having a bitch fit.

Zelda frowned, and Link gave her a confused look. The journey was over, Ganondorf never took over the nation, him and Zelda were just two kids who were going to relax.

"I don't know why....but I have a strange feeling....go grab the Master Sword, you have to go back!"

Link's eyebrow twitched, but he nodded as he went off.

First that blasted Soul Caliber, and now this? How many times was Zelda going to make him go foreword in time and deal with some mess?

As Link Stepped off the pedestal, adult Zelda was already waiting for him.

"Link, I am sorry to do this to you yet again, but Ganondorf escaped!" Link gave her a calm look, but that seemed to unnerve her even more then getting angry would have.

"I must send you off to defeat him, will you accept?" Link nodded his head, and Zelda smiled as she handed the Ocarina of Time to him.

Link played Zelda's theme, and Zelda pointed two palms of light at him.

"Play that same song to come back home!" She yelled as he faded away.

"Be safe..." She whispered, and looked up at the sky.

Dr. Hojo was a happy man.

Why?

Vincent Valentine was in a coffin, Lucrecia left him and didn't ask for a divorce, so no alimony checks, and the Cetra girl was about to be paired with a test subject in order to scare her into cooperating.

Life was wonderful....

And then it got better when his computers alerted him of a dimensional rift opening, with one powerful being exiting. Maybe a new summon?

But hopefully something related to his new test subject....

After all, the portal did open one floor beneath his....

WAIT A SECOND!

Link examined the area around him, it was......full of crates, some glass wall, and an oval, metal container.

Weird.

He turned around, and saw two men and a women staring at him. One of the men was a large and thick black man with a massive, strange looking metal arm. The other man was a short blonde with a massive sword.

The women had no apparent weapons, but had the fourth largest pair of boobs he had ever seen, something he wasn't comfortable thinking about.

Link put away the Master Sword and the Ocarina of Time, and spoke.

"HYAAH!"

"Hello to you too." The women said, but seemed tense.

What do you do?

[ ] Write in. Link can only say everything we have heard his say in Super smash and Legend of Zelda: OoT, but with Navi he can work around that.
